Hi, I think I have PAWS, too. I went back to the pulmonologist after a year because of my chest pain, and everything still came back normal. I’ve now been prescribed Luforbec, and the chest pain is practically gone after the first dose. The other symptoms - like nausea, reflux, and extreme brain fog - were also much better today. Has anyone else had the same experience? I’m only 6 weeks in, but I’ve been having the problems described here for more than 12 months.

VFAs happen because the teeth rattle against the smooth pulleys. Why not make a toothed pulley on both sides? That would greatly reduce the problem, wouldn’t it? Combine that with the new GT1.5 belts, and everything would be perfect.

Or am I missing something?

Edit: So, this page describes a number of possible causes, including the one I suspected. Well, now I’m a little wiser and can picture the whole thing quite clearly.

So VFAs must mainly be caused by the varying width of the extrusion when printing parallel to an axis. When printing diagonally, they’re more likely caused by the varying, non-constant movements of both axes resulting from the different effects. There are some people out there who believe there’s only one truth.

Does anyone remember the third-party app that was featured here, the one that's suitable for tracking and supports both Meshcore and Meshtastic?

I don’t know what to do anymore. I smoked every day for 20 years, and out of the blue I started having problems with nausea and a stabbing pain in my left chest—more specifically, in the lower ribs on the left side, right in the middle. It’s gotten better over time, but as soon as I lie down, I can barely breathe and, as a result, can hardly sleep. I’ve been sleeping sitting up for a year now. Reflux was suspected, but PPIs don’t help at all.

The pain on my left side is now very mild, and the brain fog is almost gone, But the breathing problem persists. The pulmonologist, cardiologist, and internist can't find anything wrong. Does anyone else have this, and can someone reassure me? I've been THC-free for 4 weeks and nicotine-free for 3 weeks. My life is actually great—I have a good job, the best wife, and a gorgeous little daughter. But my life totally fucked up.

Hi everyone, I'm not a native speaker and I'm using a translator.

A long time ago, I developed acid reflux overnight. It started with mild nausea and extreme chest pain, but not in the usual places. It was right under my left rib cage (that spot hurts a lot when I touch it, and it twinges back and forth) and on my left side at waist level.

My doctor refuses to perform almost any tests because he thinks I’m just imagining all of this.

The cardiologist said everything was fine with my heart. The pulmonologist saw something in the lower left lobe of my lung on the X-ray. After an ultrasound, he said it was scar tissue.

No one had thought of reflux at that point.

The ENT specialist then made the diagnosis.

Medication isn’t helping at all. I’ve been struggling through life for a year now.

From the very beginning, I told all the doctors that, in my opinion, the trigger was one of the following events:

1. I was lying on my stomach in bed with my head and chest propped up on a pillow. So I was completely arched. I felt a coughing urge, and when I coughed, it hurt right at the point where my ribs meet. After that, it felt warm. I immediately had a very uneasy feeling about the whole thing.

2. While working, I bumped my head and strained my entire spine. As I was getting up from the floor, I bumped into a wooden beam. My head didn’t hurt, but I felt the strain along my entire spine.

Both incidents occurred around the time my symptoms began. That was about a year ago.

In three weeks, I have a pressure measurement and a pH test scheduled.

Can anyone make sense of this?

meine Garage hat eine Betondecke und ist mit Bitumenbahnen abgedichtet.

Im Sommer ist es in der Garage immer brechend heiß. Die Nachbarn haben z.B. Edelstahl gefalzt und dann Kiesschüttung drauf, dort ist es richtig angenehm was die Hitze betrifft.

Ein Arbeitskollege hat mich nun auf Fallschutzmatten hingewiesen, also UV-beständige offenporige Matten aus Gummi. Die hat er bei sich verlegt.

Jetzt frage ich mich, ob es eine bessere Alternative gibt und ob die eventuelle Staunässe probleme verursachen könnte.

Ich würde mich über Ideen und Gegenargumente freuen.

Hi, my node in the attic is connected via Wi-Fi. I then connect to it using the app.

When I connect, it always gets stuck at "Module config received." I have to disconnect and try again, and it always works on the second try.

Does anyone else have this problem?

If I use MeshMonitor or Home Assistant as a proxy in between, it always works.

Hi, kurze frage zur Bodenplatte.

Alle Bodenplatten hier im Neubaugebiet wurden nach dem Gießen noch mit Folie abgedeckt, manchmal aufgedeckt, gewässert, wieder zugedeckt.

Im Internet werde ich bestatigt, sie muss vor Sonne und Wind geschützt werden, dass die chemische Aushärtung genug Zeit unter feuchten Bedingungen hat.

Nachbar DIY hat die Bodenplatte gegossen, dann über Nacht abgedeckt und am nächsten Morgen aufgedeckt. Seit dem ist sie der prallen Sonne und dem doch nicht zu vernachlässigbaren Wind auf dem hochgelegenen Gebiet ausgesetzt.

Gibt es spezielle Beton-Mischungen, bei denen das so ok ist? Oder pfuscht Nachbar DIY hier.

ich wohne direkt neben einem Kindergarten, soweit so gut. Unter der Woche ist nur halbtags Betrieb und am Wochenende normalerweise Ruhe, bis auf ein, zwei feste im Jahr.

Nach einem Anbau wurde die Mülltonnenecke direkt an meine Grundstücksgrenze errichtet.

Jetzt ist es jeden Sonntag so, dass zwischen 8 und 10 Uhr das Reinigungspersonal da ist und die Tür zum Müllplatz, sowie die Mülltonnendeckel ständig zuschlägt.

Durch die Nähe der Gebäude zueinander hallt das sehr stark und es hört sich jedes einzelne Mal so an als stünden die direkt in meinem Wohn- oder Schlafzimmer.

Ausschlafen und morgendliches Entspannen ist dadurch nicht mehr möglich, gerade im Sommer ist es nochmal lauter wenn man übernacht die Fenster offen hat.

Muss das sein, dass immer sonntags geputzt wird, ist das normal bei diesen Unternehmen und habe ich dagegen eine Handhabe?

Der Traum vom Eigenheim ist dadurch mehr als getrübt.

Freue mich auf Euren Rat.

Edit: Natürlich spreche ich das persönlich an, mir geht es darum Argumente zu finden. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass ein Sonntag als regulärer Arbeitstag genutzt wird.

Das Putzpersonal selbst spricht leider kein Deutsch.

I have Meshtastic and Meshcore running. Strangely enough, Meshtastic is much more reliable, even though you usually read the opposite.

Not much is happening on my end - I keep getting messages, but it seems like hardly anyone ever hears me.

The nearest repeaters are barely helping - all the traffic goes through one that's 50 km away.

The conversations are always very choppy.

can anyone help me to completely disable the buzzer on the WisMesh Tag?

Under “External Notifications,” I can disable the “PWM Buzzer,” and then I don't receive any notifications sounds.

However, the boot sound still plays or when I press a button.

On the T1000-e, I set the buzzer pin to 26 (unused) as recommended, but I can’t find any information for the WisMesh Tag.

I’ve read that a triple press disables the buzzer and that it should stay disabled even after powering on with the latest release (bug fix merged). This doesn't work.

But a triple press also disables GPS (RAK documentation), or sends the position (according to the info in the app).

It’s all kind of contradictory. I’m actually just looking for an unused pin so I can disable it completely. Can I use pin 26 as well?

Hi, I've been around for a very long time—actually, since the very beginning. Meshtastic had been sitting in the corner for a year, but a few days ago I unpacked my two T-Beams (SX1262) and set them up in the best spots in my house. One T-Beam serves as my “access point” via Wi-Fi.

Since then, I’ve also gotten a Seed Tracker T1000-E and have been testing it out over the last few days, especially the GPS tracking.

The radio settings are correct; I can send and receive from anywhere and also receive signals from other nodes.

For GPS tracking, I’ve configured it as follows:

Transmission interval: 15 min

Smart Position: on

Smart Distance: 50 or 100m

GPS polling interval: 30s

Everything else is set to default; power-saving mode should not be enabled.

But when I go for a walk, the tracker almost never updates its position. Even when I query its location (from the base station via VPN), the tracker responds but doesn’t update its location; sometimes it works, but most of the time nothing happens for 20 minutes or not at all.

What am I doing wrong?

Edit: tried Beta (2.7.15) and latest alpha (2.7.25)

When it does work, the location is spot on.

Factory resets, reboots, and powering the device off and on make no difference.
