Media Double Standards

Admitting to systematic cheating all season - give them a slap on the wrist

Isolated incident with an investigation still ongoing - throw the book at them

Won't complain whatever punishment the EFL decide but the media's reaction to this is not proportional to when Bielsa did it 7 years ago.

I know people can change their views over the years and there was no rule prohibiting it back then. But why weren't they this hostile back then?

Truly pathetic from the Telegraph

The Telegraph now appear to be Steve Gibson's mouthpiece - if he keeps this up it's going to backfire and it's just going to end up giving ammunition to our lawyers to be able to argue they're trying to influence the board's decision.

The smart thing is to let the disciplinary board deal with it, say "no comment" and stop meddling.
