I've seen people mention dragon statues near puzzles and whimstars sending them in a different direction, but the regular statues don't just send you in one direction! They send Nikki up in whatever direction she's facing when she goes up to the statue, so if you go to it while facing your target you'll automatically start flying towards it. Figure this might make it easier for people struggling with that aspect of the statues!
