I think it would be best to resign from my AFM chapter

Local 71 is corrupted by the Memphis symphony orchestra. There's no longer any opportunities for freelance musicians like there were in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. They control the funding. The music jurisdiction is too big. It's West Tennessee, North Mississippi and East Arkansas. Jackson, TN was just kicked out of 257 Nashville. Local 71 is in charge now. They do not even give rehearsal access to the building in Memphis. The 1948 music business model is a joke.

Ddrum doesn't care...

I tried ordering a bass drum from ddrum back in February. They gave me an ETA of mid April. Well they changed the ETA to September. Yesterday I let them know I didn't believe they were going to send it and wanted a refund if all they were going to do was push the date back indefinitely. I received a cancelled invoice before the end of the business day. Now I understand the Ddrum hate.

I hope I can sell this drum kit now. Ddrum will never deserve a subreddit flair. I would rather deal with DW's weird thread sizes, inconsistent hole spacing, and questionable pedal bearings than be completely disregarded like ddrum.
