UPDATE: I’ve picked up 2 torches which will really fit my needs. I pivoted slightly on my specifications and went for Convoy M21E and M21F with GTFC40 @4000K. The two torches with spare batteries came in below my budget. M wife and I can swap between them on drives.

I travel a lot, I do night drives, night safari walks, etc. Also live in the countryside. Work on cars. Go for drives. I’d like a torch (flashlight) that meets the following:
- Throw not flood
- Can be held in one hand,
- Rechargeable via USB-C but takes a removable battery,
- Compact enough for having in carry on and in a satchel for safaris/walks,
- Can throw to 200-500m.
- Can have sustained use at full power for close to 30 minutes.
- Doesn’t get too hot or uncomfortable to handle.
- 5000K colour temperature
- Simple and small selection of modes (e.g. 4 power modes and SOS)
- Decent IP rating for some water and dust (not extreme)
- magnet base would be an advantage
- available to the UK from AliExpress, eBay, or Amazon
- below £50
- strap/lanyard hole an advantage
