Should the Bringston gang get cameos or some type of mention in the final season of AA? Would you at least want them to?

Should the Bringston gang get cameos or some type of mention in the final season of AA? Would you at least want them to?

The chances of this are super low, but in a perfect world, since Homecoming was cancelled on a complete cliffhanger, I’d love it and get some type of closure if the Bringston gang were given some type of cameos, or mentions, leading up to the series finale on how they’re all doing.

With Jordan and everyone done with college, Simone and the others will be too, so they should all be at least starting or be in the middle of their careers post-graduation. So I’d like some mentions of how they’re all doing. Simone’s tennis career, Damon & Thea’s time on the pro circuit, Cams music career, Nate’s law/journalism, Keisha’s dancing, Landon’s art/photography goals, JRs status.

And the relationship pairings. If Lando and Simone truly are endgame, the JR, Keisha, Cam & Gabby debacle. Amara and Marcus.

IF nothing else, Simone and Cam at least should get some kind of update. They are OG AA characters too and should at least be mentioned if no one else from Homecoming will be. If we can get Shawn flashbacks, Patience coming back, Cliff Mosbey and other OG characters coming back for a final curtain call, then they (and Homecoming) should be allowed this too.

Bonus: Since Jordan and Layla are having clear marriage issues this season, it would also make sense for Simone to cameo to help give Jordan clarity on how to navigate it.

How do you think Pavi & Nisha (and future incarnations) will be recognized as the Avatar(s) after the past lives removal?

Prior to Korra, all the Avatars have been discovered via some kind of method/test that lets the white lotus, or whoever is searching for the new avatar, use some type of familiarity to figure out who the new avatar is. Like the ancient Avatar relics as one common testing example. But now with Korras link to the past lives being severed, going forward, Pavi, Nisha and future avatars after them will no longer have that connective tissue of confirming they’re the Avatar.

Unless they pull a Korra and use different elements at a young age, how do you think the Avatar(s) will be discovered and confirmed going forward with the old rules thrown out the window? Assuming of course that the existence of past lives are even remembered by Seven Havens, and the dark avatar cycle lives on here.

Maybe sensing Raavas (and Vaatus) energies within whoever has them? Or going off of Korras specific memories or whoever recognizes something that belonged to her before the apocalypse?

What do you all think?

Possible Plot Hole: Who Was Paying for Aelita To Be At Kadic??

This probably isn’t the first time this has come up, but this is something I just pondered on for a bit. We know that Aelitas enrollment to Kadic was faked via Jeremy creating a fake ID, social security number, etc for her and then using a fake letter from Odds Parents to let Delmas and the administration believe shes Odds cousin from Canada.

But what can’t be faked for her is the money needed to be enrolled. How was the gang able to afford Aelita staying at school all this time? Things like room and board, breakfast, lunch & dinner, school equipment being used, etc. Kadic is literally like college, it’s supposed to be along the lines of private schooling. So it should require tuition. Ulrichs dad in the S3 finale was angry at him for paying for his schooling and Ulrichs bad grades were “costing him a small fortune”, so we know tuition is required for students to go to school here.

So unless Jeremy faked some type of scholarship for Aelita to be on to afford staying at Kadic, or he hacked into his, Odds (or as a honorable mention, because of the S1 finale, Yumi’s) families financials, it doesn’t make any sense that for 3+ seasons Aelita was able to get away with free schooling and no one thought this was a red flag.

On top of that, Odds Parents when they actually did show up in S4 never got called out on for not visiting their “niece”. They visited to see Odds special film and not one adult, not Delmas, Jim, or anyone thought to connect the dots about Aelita and Odds family. Even Sissi didn’t capitalize on this opportunity to try and call the group out on this.

Anyone got any ideas? Otherwise this looks like a gigantic plot hole that never got addressed.

Previous Post about Korra & Unalaq Did So Well, So I made a Video About This to Share!!

My old post that anlayzed the Korra and Unalaq fiasco of Book 2 got so much more attention than I thought it would, lol. Thanks everyone for your feedback! So to better defend our girl and bring more attention to this, I made a video about this (not my voice btw, haha) to explain more in depth about this and give more awareness and discussion about it! Hope you like it!!

Unpopular take: Unalaq would’ve been much more of a threat if Korra didn’t listen to him

The pictures pretty much do the storytelling of this for me, but yeah. Long story short:

A lot of people who hate Korra and/or Book 2 are under this impression that Korra shouldve never listened to Unalaq and she was better off ignoring him, thus all the issues she faced would’ve been avoided. This discussion has been done and beaten to death many times over enough to last 10K lifetimes. But to play devils advocate, let’s throw a bone and say she didn’t listen to Unalaq after all. Would that have really saved her all the troubles that happened in Book 2?

I disagree. I actually think Unalaq would’ve been even more dangerous in a scenario where he doesn’t successfully manipulate Korra, and the pics pretty much cover why.

For those who have claimed she shouldve dismissed him, what do you think of this now? Agree/disagree?

Unpopular opinion: Homecoming should’ve stayed connected with the OG show

Looking back at Homecoming, I think part of the reason it ultimately (and sadly) got cancelled was it breaking off pretty much any and all connective tissue with the original show. And I’m not even just talking about Jordan & Simone’s break up, but just the lack of any actual friendships or connections being maintained.

Jimone or no jimone, Jordan and Simone have been through a lot together and ultimately could’ve stayed friends if they worked through the process of their break up better. Layla and Simone no longer being friends sucked to see, and even if these 2 can’t stay connected with Simone, Spencer & Liv could’ve still been friends with her. Simone made an effort to call Jordan & Liv to offer condolences from her and the “Bringston fam” after Billys death (so that means she knew what was going on in their lives & still cared enough about them to maintain contact). And the scenes we had with Spencer & Simone interacting were 🔥🔥

Not to mention the Bringston Krews connection with the OG cast. Keisha and Spencer & Liv, Nate & Jordan, Damon & JR & Spence/Jordan for being fellow athletes, obviously Cam and Spencer as former rivals. All of that gone. I’m not saying Homecoming had to keep constantly shoving the OG show down our throats and not do their own thing, but continued cameos now and then I felt could’ve saved the spin off.

Season 3 felt completely self contained with Simone no longer communicating with anyone in the Vortex, so it didn’t even feel like being in the AA universe anymore. The lack of any connecting thread to the AA canon, and the 1-2 year timejump like in AA S6 without actually using it in better execution, didn’t do it any favors. Like, Simone getting cancer and the OG group don’t even know about it??? Don’t find that believable at all.

I can’t wait to see the excuses made for this one

With the new movie out now, figured I’d make this before someone else got the chance.

Theres been recent discussion on the ATLA / LoK parallels in the plot of the Aang movie, and out of all of them, one of them that I don’t see brought up enough is the Taga & Unalaq parallel. By that, I mean Taga is the Unalaq to Aangs Korra in this movie.

Taga & Unalaq share parallels in not just having evil spirit final boss forms, but even moreso, sharing the same natural element as the avatar they team up with and manipulating them for ulterior motives (Unalaq freeing Vaatu and Taga aiming to revive the air nation empire) and then ultimately back stabbing the Avatar they were using.

Korra, even to this day, gets torn to shreds by the fandom for trusting Unalaq, a supposed “stranger”, despite being “warned not to” by her friends and family. And having the following events happen as they do. So I wonder what people have to say about Aang trusting Taga and having what happened in the movie become a thing?

Just…food for thought.

Who wins?

Master & Protege battle!

Gingka & Zyro vs Ryuga & Sakyo

End of Fury Gingka & Ryuga | EoS Zyro & Sakyo

R1: Regular Stadium

R2: Cyclone Beystadium

Bonus Round: Zyro & Sakyo can both use Synchrome beys (Salamander Ifrit & Griffin Dragoon) in the cyclone bey stadium

u/AnimeTechnoBlade100 — 29 days ago

Could Sakyo have surpassed Ryuga if Shogun Steel continued?

Given Sakyo was supposedly given Dragoon by Ryuga & made the next generation Dragon Emperor, that means Ryuga acknowledges Sakyos power as a blader to pass the torch off to. If Shogun Steel went on and Ryuga eventually returned, would Sakyo have been able to eventually surpass him after trial and error of training & battles between the two of them?

u/AnimeTechnoBlade100 — 1 month ago

Who wins?

Sho fights every version of Gingka each round, fully rested

R1: Fusion Gingka

R2: Masters Gingka

R3: Fury Gingka

Bonus: Shogun Steel

Rewatching the anime & NGL I’m Pissed that this guy was wasted

Strolling through the anime, and Yurui (this new hidden cloud guy) I thought was a really cool character with loads of potential. And with the direction Boruto / TBV is going down, the chances of him ever popping back up is practically hovering above 0.

One thing I love(d) about Boruto, or its potential, is its seemingly better treatment of side characters compared to Naruto. And I’m not even just talking about the Konoha side cast like Shikadai, Inojin, Denkei or Iwabe. Seeing characters like Shinki, Gaaras son, or Yurui in this case, was very refreshing.

With Yurui in particular, with him being clearly inspired by Killer Bee in both design and fighting style (he even uses the exact same swords), that would suggest new Hidden Cloud representation in Boruto. Him and Borutos interaction and fight in the Chunin exams suggested it would be a nice dynamic between them to mirror Naruto & Killer Bee. Not to mention, with how Himawari is being used in TBV as Naruto’s successor with Kurama, they could’ve even full on established Yurui as Killer Bees student who he’s training to succeed him as the Eight Tails Jinchuriki (I love Killer Bee, but he has absolutely no plot relevance in Boruto at all passed the Momoshiki arc, and with Naruto surviving Baryon Mode, killing off the only other prior jinchuriki, who has no role in the new story anyway, wouldn’t do much harm & take risks). Maybe even make Yurui & Himawari the new gen “Eight & Nine tails duo” to keep the Jinchuriki / tailed beast relevancy alive. It would also add to the plot with Himawari not being the only new “jinchuriki” to face Jura.

Not expanding further on him (& other characters) was a wasted opportunity if you ask me.

What if they made a series about Ash doing title defense matches for his World Championship title?

Basically if Ash ever did come back at some point in the future, what if they made a series where his next major hurdle isn’t to win any specific league or title, but simply defend it?

He isn’t tied to any specific region since it’s a world title, he can be challenged at any time while journeying the world. He could also shuffle his champion team in and out like he did in ATBAM for downtime, but still fight with them.

How would you write such a series?

u/AnimeTechnoBlade100 — 2 months ago

The chances of this happening would be nigh-impossible at this point, but at least we fans have room to dream.

After seeing recent sequel titles be done, like Naruto’s Blank Period / Boruto, or the new recent Avatar Aang movie that focuses on Aang & Team Avatar as adults before Korra, this makes me wish the Metal Saga had a movie or something that focused on Beyblade’s revival after the Nemesis Crisis. But before Shogun Steel.

This would be a nice addition to address and answer some unseen things and unanswered plot lines, like:

-Grown up Gingka, Kenta, Tsubasa, Kyoya and the rest becoming the leading volunteers of Beyblade’s next generation we’d see in Shogun Steel.

-How Beyblade grows to be loved and accepted by the world again post-Nemesis battle.

-Gingka and Kyoya’s eventual final battle (assuming the last scene in Metal Fury isn’t that) before Kyoya throws in the towel and concedes to Gingka being his superior before he (assumingly) retires from competitive Beyblade.

-How Gingka becomes officially recognized as the Strongest Blader for years to come by Shogun Steel.

-The whereabouts of the other Legendary Bladers that we never see again.

-The birth of Samurai Ifrit, the Syncrome beys & Cyclone Bey Stadiums, & Gingka coming across Zyro

-Ryuga’s whereabouts & how he ends up getting Sakyo as his successor

-Tsubasa taking over the WBBA from Ryu

Things like this. There could even be a movie plot here about an enemy wanting to take advantage of the Nemesis Crisis to eradicate Beyblade from the world all together, because of all the wild chaos & destruction its brought time and time again, and Gingka and the others needing to team up in order to stop it. A similar storyline to the Bonds Beyond Time Yu-Gi-Oh! movie with the protagonists.

What do you guys think? I know this would never happen, but brainstorming doesn’t hurt.
