I'm looking for some realistic insights into the boys' hostel facilities at Jamia Millia Islamia. If any current residents or seniors could share their experience, it would be really helpful:
Hygiene & Washrooms: How clean are the common washrooms and overall living areas? How frequently are they cleaned?
Rooms & Space: What is the typical room sharing ratio (double/triple), and is there enough personal space/storage?
Mess & Food Quality: How is the food quality, variety, and hygiene in the mess?
Amenities: Are there laundry facilities, decent Wi-Fi/LAN, or proper study spaces available?
General Environment: How is the overall peer group, crowd culture, and curfew/discipline?
If you're currently staying in one of the hostels, please drop a comment

I was initially allotted Electrical Engineering, but later my branch was upgraded to Electronics Engineering. However, my hostel form still shows my old branch and hasn’t been updated yet. So, for the hostel interview, should I go to the Electrical Engineering Department or the Electronics Engineering Department?
Where did I get hostel interview serial number??

I'm planning to apply to Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and wanted to learn more about the colleges and overall campus experience.
If there are any seniors here, especially students studying at JMI, I'd really appreciate your insights.

SHOULD I CHOOSE JMI OVER UPTAC/JOSAA COLLEGE AT THIS RANK?
Hi everyone,
I'm a JEE Main 2026 aspirant and I'm really confused about my college choices. I'd really appreciate advice from seniors who have experience with JMI, NITs, or UPTAC colleges.
I've applied for JoSAA, UPTAC, and JMI.
Any guidance, personal experiences, placement insights, or counselling strategy would be really helpful.
Thanks a lot!
