Straighten my hair every single day?

I got off of accutane a while ago, and one of the unfortunate side effects that it has had was making my hair super greasy. I used to be able to wash my hair every other day, but now I have to wash, dry, and straighten my hair every single day and it’s driving me insane because it takes so long.

After I wash my hair, I put it in a turban for it to dry, and I use the drybar double shot blow-dryer to completely dry it. But, it looks super frizzy afterwards, so I have to straighten it. I don’t like frying my hair every day with a straightener. I feel like it’ll fall out. What am I supposed to do instead?

Where can I find an Indian femboy?

Serious Question: I really want a cute Indian boyfriend that wears cat ears and a tail, but I can’t find one anywhere. I see lots of white / East Asian guys like this, but I’m not having any luck finding guys of other backgrounds.

Does anyone know where I can find brown femboys?

When does KPMG hire for summer tax interns in Baltimore?

Is it 2 years in advance? Are they recruiting for summer 2028, or is that already finished?

Addressing someone by their first name

So, I was scheduling an informational interview with someone in my department that I haven’t met, and I addressed them as Mr. Smith (I’m using this as an example) in my first email to them.

I’m more used to calling people by their first names, so in the second email that I sent him, in which I sent him the link to the informational meeting, I called him by his first name and he never responded back. He didn’t sign off his email with anything, so should I have still called him Mr. Lastname instead of immediately jumping right into his first name?

It’s just that even though I’m new to accounting, I’m pretty old, like 30ish, so I feel weird calling someone Mr. Lastname when, for the last 12ish years, I’ve been calling adults by their first name. But, if I was wrong, I’m open to suggestions.

Hock online textbook vs physical textbook

I paid $60 for a Hock EA monthly subscription. I’m halfway through the 1st online textbook, but I’m starting school soon, so I won’t have as much time to study. So, it would take me a while to finish the second half of the textbook, and I can’t justify spending $60 a month to read a textbook.

But, the reason why I’m hesitating to buy the physical copy on Amazon is because I heard that the online textbooks are updated throughout the testing season, and obviously, the physical copies can’t be updated. Is that true? Can anyone else share what worked for them?

Can you take BMGT 323 and BMGT 417 at the same time?

Has anyone ever taken BMGT 323 (Taxation of Individuals) and BMGT 417 (Taxation of Corporations) together in the same semester? Was it difficult? Is that even possible to do?

I thought for sure that you needed 323 as a prerequisite for 417, but the only prerequisite that is listed is BMGT 221, which is Principles of Accounting 2.

Not doing anything in an internship

I have an internship with the county government. I’m basically a program assistant for a high school work development program. I’m literally doing nothing. It’s basically the 2 full-time employees that teach the program, and all I do is pass out papers and make copies. How am I supposed to even put this on my resume?

Are these pants inappropriate for client meetings?

If I buy these pants in black, are they still inappropriate because of the visible elastic waist?

I would be wearing a white button-down tucked in, so you would be able to see the elastic waist.

How conservative is the MSA?

I’m female, but I don’t wear the hijab. It’s not like I show skin, but I mostly wear skinny jeans and a hoodie, not an abaya.

I’m also Desi (my parents are from Bangladesh) if that matters. I’m looking for friends and I don’t think the Bengali Student Association is very active. I’m an accounting major and I haven’t really met any Bengalis.

Course Professor is still TBA even though there is no one else to teach it?

I’m a student that’s kind of obsessed with knowing who my professors are going to be for the next semester. But, for one of my classes, the professor is still TBA (to be announced).

I know that there are only 3 people that teach this specific topic at this school. The first two people are literally booked during the timeframe of this class, so they can’t teach it. The last person is the one who I thought would teach the class. He registered to teach other classes for next semester, but not this one yet.

I just don’t understand why his name isn’t on the schedule yet. This person has been the only one to teach this class for the last 10 years. There is literally no one else that can teach this class since the other professors are teaching other classes during the timeframe of this one. This person is super active on LinkedIn every day; I see him liking posts about the university and making more posts about random topics every day.

I really want to email someone and ask them who the professor is going to be, but I know it’s June and I should get a life I guess.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get any corporate job

I did my bachelors in Computer Science because I’m super socially awkward and borderline autistic. I only choose the major because there were so many people with the same interests as me there, even though I was an objectively terrible programmer.

Fast forward 2 years, I couldn’t get a job, so I do a Master’s in Accounting. But, honestly, I see so many people younger than me that are such smooth talkers, that can make eye contact with recruiters, that really thrive on being extroverted, and know what to say all the time.

I’ll really never be like that. I try really hard, but I stutter. People make fun of me behind my back because I’m so awkward. I can’t answer interview questions unless they’re super simple and they’re ones that I already have a script laid out and prepared for. If I get asked a question I didn’t prepare, I just freeze up. I’ve been on so many interviews over the past few years, and I just don’t have the social skills necessary to maintain and keep a job.

I’m going into my second year of my Master’s program and I don’t think I’ll have any luck with Meet The Firms again this year either. Should I just drop out? What’s a better career for someone who’s autistic?

Why are some courses still TBA, if it’s basically guaranteed to be taught by a certain professor?

There’s this one course that I’m looking at that’s been taught by this one professor for the last 10 years. It’s still somehow TBA even though this professor was the only one to teach it for a long time. This guy is an adjunct and he’s listed as teaching other classes this fall (classes that he also normally teaches), so it’s not like he’s quitting, he’s TBA just for this one class. I genuinely don’t get it.

Super easy asynchronous classes for gen-eds

Are there any super easy A classes that are asynchronous and count for a gen-ed? I would prefer not to make videos of myself, do any presentations, or do any group work. I don’t mind quizzes and tests, essays, or lots of reading. If there are in-person classes that I can be completely anonymous in (i.e. don’t have to raise my hand and talk) and still get an A, that’s okay too.
