You can now hide reposts from specific users in feeds. Click on the 3 button icon, then 'Hide reposts in feeds', and voila! It won't display reposts from that user.

Also, they've added thread numbering, in which posts in a thread are numbered automatically.

I know they need to offer an incentive to pull for them to help with GvG, and 2 of them this season do have EX WTZ... but is there anyone who is genuinely pulling for them?

I have SS Iono and I'm likely getting Lacey eventually anyways, or even with PF select ticket if I paid for the passes. These non-EX tiered PF scout feel like a scam.

If they offered EX Fair reruns in conjuction with GvG, such as maybe rerunning Drayton, Hassel or Gym Marnie for dragon and dark, more people might be tempted to go for them. Even just putting a Drayton rerun would've been tempting because special dragon is just horrible to deal with!

In the GvG top 100 ranking there's a gym called 'ArcSuitSerenaFan'. Cope for Arc Serena aside, their member count is 19/20.

What happened is this following: One of the members in that gym was called Scorp. However, shortly before GvG started, their account poofed into nowhere.

Like the account was completely gone, they didn't kick him, and we're pretty sure he was not banned, the best way to describe the situation is that there was just zero trace of his account as if his account was never ever created. Even the Nintendo account was unlinked for some reason.

He has contacted support, but they keep insisting that maybe he deleted his account or something, when in fact there is no reason for him to delete his account whatsoever. There's just no way a veteran account would just do that randomly.

I thought it would be an ultra rare kind of bug, but today another person came forth with the same issue. Another user with the name of "B17 Bomber" from LEGENDS gym also had their account nuked today - no trace whatsoever, Nintendo account suddenly unlinked, it's as if he just never existed in first place.

Worse, he's a whale, he bought gems yesterday and has the receipts for it. And it happened during GvG which would theorically mean his gym is now at 19/20 (you normally CANNOT kick out members while GvG is in session).

Getting to the point: There is a severe bug going around that is causing accounts to just outright get wiped with no reason whatsoever.

I know this sounds like a creepypasta or something, but I swear there's something wrong with this game's server that is causing accounts to vanish. It even made me check my Nintendo account and there's still linkage, so it's safe but I screenshotted my Nintendo account and configs. Please check your Nintendo accounts just in case.

Hello all and welcome back to my review.

If the title wasn't obvious, the embargo is over and we're finally getting character debuts from Legends Z-A. To be honest, they are both EX Fair, there is no indication of a bait EX Masterfair which surprises me alot. This is looking like the run-up to 4th anni, where the pokefair back then was Nemona as a prelude to SV saga.

Before we get into details, I would like to give you new info:

- There are now new Tower bundles. 5 of them are for clearing Tower floors, and supposedly 2 more will come soon in September. If they are the same bundles that expire in a day or two, you should make sure to get them, as there are 2 that have general Move candies. It's a good deal since we'll continue having more Arcs.

- There is a new cheap bundle that lets one select a non-EX Masterfair unit, but they feature only the main 3 roles. From what I infer, it's only up to 5th anni and doesn't include Field/Sprint whatsoever. I wonder if DeNA consider the gap as 2 years, since the summer ticket did feature Summer pairs only up to 2024.

- New shop for exchanging 5* powerup tickets, waiting for more details.

Anyways, without further ado, let us dive into this... and remember, 7th Anniversary is in a month.

TLDR:

Florian (Alt.) & Yanmega: Florian reminisces about his Kitakami adventures in a new EX Fair! He becomes a Physical Bug Strike unit who can unleash a devastasting barrage of attacks toward enemies with his Terablast!

Carmine (Alt.) & Mightyena: Carmine wears her Kitakami outfit befitting of her home region, also a new EX Fair! She's a Dark Support who buffs her physical allies with her Circle, Dark Zone and PMUN buffs, and can inflict Physical Break.

Harmony & Feraligatr: The female protagonist of Legends ZA, an EX Fair Water Sprint whose Feraligatr can Mega-Evolve to unleash strong Physical Water damage and Break upon her enemies on her first sync move!

Urbain & Meganium: The male rival of Legends ZA is an EX Fair Special Strike whose passives not only lets him protect his allies with both Damage Reduction field, but can deal a strong blow to enemies with the Meganium's strong Four-Fleur Solar Beam!

Florian (Alt.) & Yanmega

I'm surprised it's a Yanmega, I was thinking Kieran would use it for one of the alts. Looking good here though, and we finally have a new Physical Bug unit, a huge shame though that it's not Katy... maybe Katy will be a support?

Anyways, he's a Physical Strike unit with EXR Sprint whose passives are as follows:

- removes all Speed buff on his sync move and gives PMUN based on speed buff stack;

- his first TM maxes out his offense buffs;

- Piercing Gaze.

Start with his EX Speed TM, for max Speed. His Tera Blast move is AoE, lowers all enemies' Defense by 2 ranks and summons a Bug Zone on first use. It has 300 power which is very strong.

After syncing, he can use Zipping Lunge, which deals AoE damage without power loss and debuffs Attack, in addition to giving Free Move Next. His TM gives 3 SyCDR, gives SEUN and Free Move Next.

In his grid he can take Sharpened Body 3, Haymaker, Vigilance. At 4/5 he can take a grid that lets him get Sync Move UP Next, and EX Speed MPR. At 5/5 he can take a grid that sets Bug Zone on first sync.

Review: 8.5/10. Kitakami Florian is a very formidable Physical Bug unit and can be okay at 1/5 since his Bug moves have very high BP. Only thing is he doesn't have Circle or Break, which woulda propel his damage up... Physical Break Bug unit when? Also, keep in mind he goes away before 7th anni so decide accordingly.

Carmine (Alt.) & Mightyena

She's brimming with confidence here, it looks like. Let's see... Dark Support with EXR Field whose passives are as follow:

- Paldea Circle (Physical) on entry, Endure and Restore to herself on entry;

- Applying circles gives 1 SyCDR and PMUN;

- Vigilance.

Her Mightyena's Sharp Fang Crunch has 2 uses. It debuffs an enemy's Defense, gives 2 PMUN to all allies, and for first time, inflict Physical Break and summons Dark Zone.

Her TM can give Sync CDR, increase all allies' Attack by 3 ranks, and 1 PMUN.

At 3/5 in her grid she can take circle extension, Team Fist Bump 9 to heal all allies each attack. At 4/5 she can take grids to raise all allies' Defense or Sp. Defense each move. At 5/5 she has TM MPR first sync, or immunity to all status condition/interference on sync.

Review: 7/10. Something about her kit leaves something to be desired. She's a Support but needs 4/5 to have AoE defense buffs? At least she has Physical Break, but she requires quite the investment to have some edge over SS2 Giovanni... And the latter supposedly has infinite MUNs to all allies with 5/5.

Harmony & Feraligatr

Looking elegant... ahem, I mean, at last ZA characters are debuting and she's the first character from there. Pleasantly surprised she's an EX Fair, I thought one of them might've been a Masterfair in fact.

Anyways, she's a Sprint with EXR Physical Strike whose passives are:

- as the true ace of Team MZ she uses 1 Kalos Circle MP each sync to summon it, raise her PMUN by 2 rank, allies by 1 rank;

- with the strength from challenges, her first Sync Move inflicts Physical Break and gives herself 2 PMUN;

- increases Sync Move damage with a circle.

Her Feraligatr's Jaws Liquidation deals damage to all without power loss, and lowers Defense by 2 ranks.

Her Aqua Jet has 3 uses, deals high DMG to a target, gives Sync Accel, 5 SyMUN and if her Pokemon has Mega, deals 50% more power.

Her TM maxes out offense and sets Kalos Circle. Her Sync Move scales based on her Attack buff and obviously, can mega-evolve Feraligatr!

In her grid, at 3/5 she can take Sharpened Body, Haymaker, Endurance and Vigilance. At 4/5 she can take Piercing Gaze or SyMUN on entry, at 5/5 she can take circle extension 5 or PMUN 3 on first sync.

Review: 9/10. IMO she's a high-end EX Fair, that is, one of the stronger EX Fair units and for a very desirable type like Physical Water. The problem is that she doesn't have any Rain, to bring her out to max potential you will need a water rain setter like SS Kris or Summer Akari. Her moves however pack the punch, but again keep in mind that 7th anni is coming so decide accordingly.

Urbain & Meganium

At last, we finally have a new strong Grass Special Strike and it's the Mr. Rival himself! He's the type that insists in helping people out, at least going by the description.

His role is Special Strike with EXR Tech:

- his heart for Lumiose lets him use 1 Kalos Circle MP on sync to summon it and give SMUN buff, similar to Harmony's 1st passive;

- his Helping Hand summons both Damage Reduction field each usage of Kalos Circle;

- his third passive increases Move Gauge charge speed under DR Field.

Start with his TM, which is similar to Harmony but for Special, then he can use Luxurious Leaf Storm, which debuffs Sp. Defense, deals damage to all without losing power, and also lowers the enemies' offense stats when under DR Field.

His Meganium's Four-Fleur Solar Beam is ideally used under Mega to skip the charge process, and deals very high damage to all without power loss.

In his grid, at 3/5 he can take Sharpened Mind 3, Brainpower, DR extension, Piercing Gaze and Soften Up 1. At 4/5 he can make his TM give Sync Accel or have the Solarbeam inflict Flinch. At 5/5 she can take Kalos Circle extension or Circle MPR.

Review: 8/10. He's a strong Special Grass EX PF, but he doesn't have Break like Harmony and doesn't have Grassy Terrain until 10/5. Just be conscious if you pull on him, as anni is coming up next.

Here are other notable things for this month:

Whitney Lodge: Finally, a new Johto Lodge! Whitney is a decent f2p Normal Special unit here, as there weren't many accessible types here.

Selene & Primarina: Selene becomes a good Physical Fairy damage dealer/field unit in this new Mix banner, great to pair up with Pal. Adaman.

EX Fair Select Scout: For the first time ever, you can now select an EX Fair unit up to (assuming) Gym Marnie and Bede. Personally given that EX PF have been usually good, you should choose an unit for a type that you might be lacking in or need to get EX WTZ for.

So it's time to have a bit of discussion.

We just had HSE come out and based on past trends, two of the anniversary EX Masterfair will be Dark and Flying.

Dark is IMO almost going to be strike, as their last strike unit was Giacomo. I'm happy that it's a full headliner type for the first time (previously it was only half anni type with NC Marnie). I wonder what level of power is it gonna be. Is the damage dealer gonna be just a bit behind Red96?

Flying is an interesting one. Their premium units are Arc Ethan and Arc Blue. But historically the HSE types for anni has never been support unit, only damage dealer or amplificator. The two arcs are good, but the main issue is their long animation timers, which is bad in timer based modes such as Gym vs Gym. So I think there is a chance it'll be a physical field unit who's kinda like Arc Sabrina, in that they're the best field user who can also dish out high damage.

Support slot is interesting. Like said before, HSE types for anni never feature the support unit's type. I was thinking of a Fairy support, but they have Alt Bede who is good. The units that hasn't had a support in long time is Ground, Ice, Bug and Psychic.

Actually, Psychic doesn't exactly need a new support due to their duo being good, but the last big support was NC Rosa which is almost 3 years old. My guess is that the support slot will be Ground, as Ice already had NC Hilbert and SS Kieran. I'd be surprised if the support is Bug, but this slot is always a curveball. If talking about wish, I wish for a dragon support given the lack of options there.

The post-anni unit is up to debate, but thinking it's a niche type, or filling a slot like special Grass. 6th anni continued the Arceus Arc story, so 7th anni might be another Arc Suit Fair, or... who knows... a Multi unit in disguise like Alt Volo who is an EX MF with Ghost rebuff.

They announce the types of the next HSE 2 days after the end of current HSE. The event ends tomorrow, so in 3 days we will know the next HSE's type.

It's relevant because the HSE types has lined up with each past anniversary period and Golden Week. 6th anniversary was Dragon and Poison, we got 6th anniversary Red and Irida. 6.5 anniversary was Electric and Grass, we got Red (1996) and 6.5 anniversary Florian.

I wonder if one day we get a Normal-type HSE, as Normal has been made more viable with the units in last year such as Academy Arven, but also Anni Juliana, Mai, SC2 Larry...

Just a reminder for those who haven't looked into her, TLDR she's the ultimate Poison-type support who combines offense buffs such as multiple Poison Zone, Bad Poison to all enemies on entry, defense debuff and even ST break with defensive buffs such as heal and team-wide Vigilance in Poison Zone.

If anyone cares about gridding her, at 3/5 she has Endurance to all on sync, status immunity to all in Poison Zone, move OR sync move boost; zone extension at 4/5, accel and SEUN all at 5/5.

She's not bad, the thing though is that Poison as a type is stacked with units like Anniversary Irida, SS Carmine and the ilk, so if you have premium units, it's easier to justify skipping her unlike Arc Diantha that is sorely needed for a lacking type like Fairy.

I want to ask, did the search function or the way it works, change for anybody else?

At least for Popular tab during search, it used to show more recent popular options by chronological order, that is to say, popular recent posts would show up in search. But now they are all over the place, you can see popular posts from months ago.

Did some update happen that affected the search feature?

The game will end service after 30 September.

1.5 years was nice, but they really fumbled this game. There was some level of potential, had they provided more content at launch as well as having more marketing. The game ran like it was in mid 2010s, but such small crumbs of content don't cut it anymore as well as lack of QoL like no skip button feature.

If Japanese devs learned how to do things more effectively, this game would probably have lived longer. Alas.
