I think I found something that was never supposed to be written down chapter Final.

My name is Stephen.
If you’re reading this, then you were probably expecting another post from Marcus.
You’re not going to get one.
Marcus has been missing for several days.
The police have searched for him.
His family has searched for him.
I searched for him too.
He hasn’t been found.
At this point, he’s presumed dead.
I don’t know what happened to him.
I don’t think anyone does.
I’m writing this because I found something after he disappeared.
A piece of paper.
Everything Marcus had discovered was written down on it.
Everything.
The notebooks.
The dates.
The names.
The things he saw.
And what he believed The Other was.
I read it.
I’m not going to tell you what it said.
Nobody needs to know.
Only Marcus and I were supposed to know.
I burned the paper.
I watched it burn until there was nothing left.
No photograph.
No copy.
No way to recover it.
Whatever was written on that paper is gone.
And that’s how it should stay.
I’ve read through Marcus’s previous posts.
I’ve seen the things you found in them.
Some of you thought the strange messages were clues.
Some of you thought Marcus was just making everything up.
I don’t know what to believe anymore.
But I know one thing.
Marcus is gone.
And I’m not going looking for him again.
I’m not opening the notebooks.
I’m not searching for The Other.
And I’m not going to write about what happened next.
This account belongs to Marcus.
So this will be the last post.
Take care of yourselves.
And if you ever find something you were never supposed to find…
leave it alone.

I think I found something that was never supposed to be written down chapter 2

I Went Back to My Grandmother’s House
I wasn’t planning on going back.
After I made my last post, I spent most of the night reading through the comments.
A lot of people thought the notebook was fake.
Some people thought I was making the whole thing up.
Honestly, I wish they were right.
But one comment caught my attention.
The person who wrote it asked me something nobody else had mentioned.
They asked:
Did you put the notebook back where you found it?
I didn’t answer them.
Because I hadn’t.
The notebook was still on my desk.
I hadn’t touched it since I made the post.
At least, I thought I hadn’t.
I checked it again this morning.
The last page was still there.
The one with my name on it.
Except there was something underneath my name that I hadn’t noticed before.
A single sentence.
You left something behind.
I immediately thought about the basement.
So I drove back to my grandmother’s house.
It took me almost three hours.
The house looked exactly the same as it had when I left.
I unlocked the door and went inside.
I don’t know why, but the entire place felt colder than I remembered.
I went straight downstairs.
The wooden box was still underneath the newspapers.
I opened it.
The notebook was gone.
I stood there for probably five minutes just staring at the empty box.
Then I noticed something behind it.
There was a loose piece of wood in the wall.
I don’t remember seeing it before.
I pulled it away.
There was a small space behind the wall.
Inside was another notebook.
This one was much older.
The cover was almost completely destroyed.
There was writing on the front.
Three words.
DON’T LOOK INSIDE.
I actually laughed when I saw that.
Not because it was funny.
Because I was scared.
I opened it anyway.
The first page said:
If you’re reading this, Marcus hasn’t listened.
I froze.
My first thought was that someone had followed me.
Someone had somehow found out about the notebook.
But then I remembered something.
The notebook looked old.
Really old.
The pages were yellow and brittle.
The handwriting looked nothing like the writing in the first notebook.
And my name was still there.
Marcus.
Written decades before I was born.
I kept reading.
The person who wrote the notebook never gave their name.
They only referred to themselves as “the witness.”
They wrote about something they called The Other.
At first, I thought it was the same thing from the first notebook.
Then I realized something.
The witness had never actually seen it.
They had only seen what happened around it.
A clock stopped whenever it appeared.
Lights would turn on in empty rooms.
Doors would open by themselves.
People would forget where they were going.
One entry said:
I heard footsteps behind me.
I turned around.
There was nothing there.
I kept walking.
The footsteps continued.
Another entry said:
I saw a man standing at the end of the hallway.
I blinked.
There was no man.
I blinked again.
The hallway was longer.
I kept reading.
The witness wrote that they had spent years trying to understand The Other.
They interviewed people.
They collected stories.
They compared descriptions.
Nothing matched.
One person said The Other was tall.
Another said it was small.
One person said it had a face.
Another said it had no head.
Someone else said it wasn’t a creature at all.
It was a place.
The witness eventually wrote:
We kept trying to describe it.
That was our mistake.
The next page had only one sentence.
Don’t look for The Other.
The following page had another.
Don’t give The Other a shape.
Then:
Don’t give The Other a name.
I stopped reading.
Because that was the exact same warning from the first notebook.
I turned another page.
There was a list.
I don’t know what the list means.
It looked like this:
1978 — Someone looked.
1986 — Someone listened.
1994 — Someone remembered.
2003 — Someone answered.
2011 — Someone opened the door.
2026 — Marcus.
My hands started shaking.
I don’t know what those years mean.
I don’t know who those people were.
And I don’t know why my name is next to 2026.
I kept reading anyway.
The final entry was only a few lines long.
I looked at it once.
I don’t remember what I saw.
I only remember what happened afterward.
Then:
Something looked back.
I closed the notebook.
I put it back inside the wall.
I left the house.
I didn’t take it with me.
I’m writing this from my car.
I haven’t started driving yet.
There’s something I need to tell you.
When I first found the second notebook, I thought the message on the cover said:
DON’T LOOK INSIDE.
But I just remembered something.
It didn’t say that.
I know what it actually said.
It said:
DON’T LOOK BEHIND.
I don’t know why I remembered it differently.
And I don’t know why I keep hearing something moving around inside the trunk of my car.
I’m not going to check.
I’m not going to turn around.
I’m just going to drive home.
Because I think I finally understand what the first hidden message meant.
DON’T LOOK.
I thought it was a warning about The Other.
Maybe it wasn’t.
Maybe it was a warning about me.

UNDERTALE: WITHERED ROOTS - Boss #4

The Thorned Puppet (Chara)
Title: The Ghost Bound by a Shattered Soul
“I never left… I was never allowed to.”

Backstory
Chara’s sacrifice happened just as it did in the original timeline.
Their soul allowed Asriel to cross the Barrier.
After Asriel was killed, Chara’s spirit should have disappeared forever.
It didn’t.
When Alphys revived Asriel as Flowey, his damaged monster soul still carried a connection to Chara’s spirit.
That bond only grew stronger after Flowey absorbed the six human souls.
When Asriel’s monster soul finally shattered, the fragments reached out and pulled Chara’s ghost back into the Underground.
Unable to move on, Chara became trapped between life and death.
Flowey couldn’t bear to lose the sibling he loved.
So instead of letting Chara’s spirit fade…
He bound it to his shattered soul with living vines.
Now Chara serves as Flowey’s unwilling second-in-command.

Appearance
Chara appears as a pale, translucent ghost
Their body flickers like an unstable soul
Their feet never touch the ground
Thorn-covered vines coil around their wrists, ankles, neck, and torso like puppet strings
A glowing vine extends from their chest into the darkness, connecting them directly to Flowey’s shattered soul
Their eyes are normally a soft red
Whenever Flowey gives an order, their eyes fade into glowing gold
Their clothes are torn and faded
Leaves and wilted petals drift from their body like ghostly ash
Unlike the other corrupted monsters, Chara’s body was never transformed
Only their spirit was imprisoned

Personality
Chara rarely speaks.
When they do, their voice echoes as if two people are speaking at once.
Most of the time, they appear calm and emotionless.
Whenever Flowey commands them, the vines tighten and Chara obeys without hesitation.
But beneath the control…
They are still the same person.
Chara secretly guides lost survivors away from danger.
They hesitate before attacking old friends.
Sometimes, they quietly whisper apologies to Frisk during the battle.
And despite everything Flowey has become…
Chara still believes Asriel can be saved.

Powers
Thorn Strings
Ghostly vines burst from the ground, binding enemies like a puppet master controlling their strings.
Soul Chains
Chains made from roots and soul energy wrap around Frisk’s SOUL, restricting movement.
Phantom Step
Chara disappears into a cloud of flower petals before instantly reappearing somewhere else.
Bloom Slash
Their spectral knife leaves trails of glowing thorns that erupt moments later.
Soul Bloom
Flowers bloom across the battlefield.
Each flower briefly reveals memories from Chara’s past before exploding into ghostly petals.
Spirit Call
Chara summons ghostly echoes of corrupted monsters to attack Frisk before they fade away.

Battle Theme
“The Ghost Bound by a Shattered Soul”
A haunting version of Chara’s themes mixed with Flowey’s corrupted garden sounds.
The music constantly shifts between peaceful, sorrowful sections and violent, distorted sections whenever Flowey takes control.

Boss Mechanics
Thorn vines constantly pull Chara’s body like puppet strings
Soul chains restrict Frisk’s movement
Spectral knife attacks leave delayed thorn traps
Ghostly flowers reveal pieces of Chara’s memories
Corrupted monster spirits attack from different parts of the battlefield
The vines become tighter and more aggressive whenever Chara begins resisting
The battlefield slowly fills with thorn-covered flowers

The Strings Break
Several times during the battle, the vines suddenly snap.
For a few precious seconds…
Chara regains control.
Their eyes return to normal.
Their weapon lowers.
They look directly at Frisk.
Then Chara whispers:
“He’s still in there…”
The vines immediately reform.
Flowey’s influence surges through the connection.
Chara is forced to continue fighting.

Hidden Detail
If the player watches closely, Chara’s attacks subtly change throughout the battle.
Whenever Frisk is about to be struck by a fatal attack, Chara’s hand begins to tremble.
The attack narrowly misses.
Sometimes Chara even moves their body into the path of an attack, secretly protecting Frisk.
Even while bound to Flowey’s shattered soul…
Chara is still fighting back.

After the Battle
After Frisk defeats Chara, they don’t destroy them.
Instead, Frisk breaks the vines connecting Chara to Flowey’s shattered soul.
For the first time since being dragged back into the Underground…
Chara is free.
But they don’t disappear.
They look toward the path leading to Flowey.
They know the truth.
Asriel is still somewhere inside him.
Chara tells Frisk that Flowey isn’t completely gone.
There is still a part of their brother trapped beneath the corruption.
And if Frisk wants to save him…
They will have to face him.
Chara becomes the final companion to stand beside Frisk before the final battle.
Their battle was never about defeating an enemy.
It was about freeing a ghost who was never allowed to leave.

Chara, The Thorned Puppet, is the fourth major boss of UNDERTALE: SHATTERED SOUL.
They are the final boss before Flowey.
Chara represents the emotional heart of the story: a soul trapped by love, a sibling refusing to let go, and the last connection between Asriel and the monster Flowey has become.
“A ghost who cannot rest… because the brother they loved refuses to let them go.”

I think I found something that was never supposed to be written down chapter 1

I don’t really know how to start this.
I’ve never posted anything like this before. I don’t believe in ghosts, demons, or any of that stuff. At least, I didn’t.
A few days ago, I was helping my family clean out my grandmother’s house.
She died years ago, but we never really went through everything she left behind. Most of it was just old furniture, clothes, photographs, and boxes of things nobody wanted to throw away.
I was cleaning out the basement when I found a small wooden box underneath a stack of newspapers.
It wasn’t locked.
There wasn’t anything written on it.
Inside were some old letters, a few photographs, and a notebook.
The notebook was strange.
Not old enough to belong in that box, at least not compared to everything else.
The cover was black, and there was no name on it.
I almost threw it away.
Instead, I opened it.
The first few pages were completely blank.
Then I found writing.
The handwriting looked like someone had been trying very hard to stay calm.
The first sentence said:
I saw the Other again.
I thought that was weird.
I kept reading.
The writer never explained what “the Other” meant.
They just kept referring to it like I was supposed to know.
One entry said:
It stood in the hallway for three hours.
Another said:
It wasn’t there when I looked at it.
And another:
I could hear it breathing, but I couldn’t hear it when I was listening for it.
That last one made no sense.
I assumed the person who wrote the notebook was either sick or trying to scare someone.
Then I found this:
Don’t try to describe the Other.
Underneath that were several lines that had been scratched out.
I could still make out some of the words.
Tall.
Thin.
Man.
Face.
Hands.
Then:
None of those are correct.
I stopped reading for a minute.
I don’t know why that sentence bothered me so much.
Maybe because I had started imagining what the Other looked like.
I turned the page.
There was a drawing.
I can’t show you what it looked like because I don’t know how to explain it.
Actually, that’s not true.
I could explain it.
I just don’t think the explanation would be accurate.
It looked like a person.
Except it didn’t.
That’s the closest I can get.
I kept reading.
The person who wrote the notebook claimed that the Other didn’t have one appearance.
Every time they saw it, they remembered it differently.
Sometimes it was standing at the end of a hallway.
Sometimes it was outside a window.
Sometimes it was sitting in a chair.
Once, they said it appeared in a crowd of people.
Nobody else noticed it.
Then I found the part that made me put the notebook down.
The writer said:
I asked it what it wanted.
The next sentence was:
It asked me why I thought it wanted anything.
I closed the notebook.
I told myself I was done.
I put it back in the wooden box and went upstairs.
I left my grandmother’s house that afternoon.
I drove home.
I went to bed.
And sometime around three in the morning, I woke up because I heard someone walking through my apartment.
I live alone.
I checked every room.
Nobody was there.
I checked the front door.
It was locked.
I checked the windows.
They were locked too.
I went back to bed.
That’s when I noticed something on my desk.
The notebook.
The same black notebook from my grandmother’s basement.
I don’t remember bringing it home.
I don’t remember putting it in my car.
I don’t remember putting it on my desk.
I opened it.
There was writing on the last page.
I swear it wasn’t there before.
It said:
Marcus Walker.
My full name.
Underneath it was another sentence.
You read about me.
Then:
Now I know about you.
I didn’t sleep that night.
I don’t know what I’m expecting by posting this.
Maybe someone will recognize the notebook.
Maybe someone knows what “the Other” is.
Maybe somebody has seen it before.
But there’s something else.
Something I didn’t notice until I was typing this.
The notebook had one final sentence.
I remember reading it.
I remember exactly what it said.
Except now I can’t remember the words.
Every time I try, I get a headache.
The only thing I can remember is the last word.
Outside.
I don’t know what that means.
I don’t know who wrote the notebook.
And I don’t know why it knows my name.
But tonight, I heard footsteps outside my bedroom again.
They stopped at my door.
And then someone whispered:
Marcus?
It sounded exactly like me.
I’m not opening the door.
If anyone has any idea what I’m dealing with, please tell me.
Because I just heard it whisper again.
This time, it didn’t say my name.
It said:
You’re not the only one reading.

ARG hint
Don’t immediately start looking for hidden codes outside the post.
The first clue is already in the story.
Pay attention to something that seems strange or unnecessary about the way Marcus wrote it.
Especially the beginning and ending of things.

Shift

I’ve been debating whether to post this because I know exactly what this sounds like.
Another Sonic horror story.
Another person claiming they saw something they shouldn’t have.
I get it.
I would’ve laughed at someone telling me this a week ago.
But I need to write this down before I start convincing myself that I imagined it.
Because I don’t think the thing I saw was a Sonic.EXE.
I think it was pretending to be one.

It started in a Discord call.
Nothing creepy.
Nothing unusual.
Me and two friends were talking about Sonic horror characters because we’d gotten into a stupid argument about which one would win in a fight.
We’d been talking about Rewrite, Lord X, and the different versions of Sonic.EXE.
I’m pretty familiar with that stuff.
Probably more than I should be.
My friend jokingly said:
“If you know enough of these characters, you’d probably get killed first.”
I told him he was an idiot.
Then he sent me a link.
It was a little fan-made game.
The title was just:
SONIC_HORROR_TEST
No developer name.
No logo.
No description.
Just a download.
He said he’d found it buried in an old thread.
I didn’t think much of it.
We opened it together.
The game wasn’t very good.
It looked unfinished.
Most of the textures were low quality, some models didn’t have proper animations, and there were places where you could literally walk through the walls.
But the game had one interesting feature.
It let you choose a horror character.
There were only three available.
Sonic.EXE.
Rewrite.
Lord X.
We picked different ones and started messing around.
I picked Sonic.EXE.
My friend picked Rewrite.
The other guy picked Lord X.
Everything was normal.
Until my friend stopped moving.
I asked him what happened.
He didn’t answer.
Then he said:
“Uh… guys?”
His character had stopped.
Rewrite was standing in the middle of the map.
Except something was wrong.
The model looked almost right.
Almost.
The proportions were slightly off.
His arms were longer than they were supposed to be.
His fingers looked stretched.
His shoes weren’t textured correctly.
The blue texture on his body seemed to be bleeding into the white parts.
And his face…
His face looked like someone had taken the original model and pulled it sideways.
I said:
“Your character’s broken.”
My friend replied:
“I didn’t do that.”
Then Rewrite turned around.
And looked directly at my character.
Not my friend.
Me.
The screen froze for maybe half a second.
Then Rewrite’s mouth moved.
The game didn’t have voice acting.
But I heard something anyway.
A quiet voice.
Almost like someone whispering through a bad microphone.
“You’re familiar.”
I immediately took my headphones off.
My friends heard it too.
Nobody said anything.
Then the character spoke again.
“You know me.”
My friend started laughing nervously.
“Okay, that’s actually pretty good.”
He thought it was an Easter egg.
I didn’t.
Because Rewrite’s mouth wasn’t moving correctly.
The audio and animation didn’t match.
It was like the game had taken a recording and attached it to the wrong animation.
Then the character’s head twitched.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
Then it tilted toward the camera.
My friend finally disconnected.
His character disappeared.
The moment he left, everything went back to normal.
We laughed about it afterward.
We assumed it was some scripted scare.
I went to bed.
That’s when things got weird.

The next morning, my friend messaged me.
He asked:
“Did you see that thing last night?”
I said yes.
He sent me a screenshot.
It was the same Rewrite model.
Except it looked different.
Much worse.
The screenshot showed it standing in a hallway.
Its legs were bent at angles that shouldn’t have been possible.
One arm was almost twice as long as the other.
Its face had no eyes.
Just two black holes.
And across its chest was a texture that looked like raw Sonic.EXE artwork.
Not the correct texture.
Pieces of it.
Like the game had grabbed random files and thrown them onto the model.
I asked him where he got the screenshot.
He said:
“I didn’t take it.”
That was the first thing that actually scared me.
Because the screenshot was sitting in his pictures folder.
The filename was:
SHIFT_001.png
Neither of us had created that file.
We deleted it.
Then we noticed something.
There were three more files.
SHIFT_002.png
SHIFT_003.png
SHIFT_004.png
We opened them.
The first showed Rewrite.
The second showed Lord X.
The third showed Sonic.EXE.
Except none of them looked right.
They all had the same problem.
Their bodies were being rendered incorrectly.
Their textures were mixed up.
Their limbs were stretched.
Their faces were distorted.
And all three were looking directly at the camera.
My friend said:
“It’s probably just some random creepypasta project.”
Then he noticed something.
The three characters were different.
But the eyes were exactly the same.
Tiny white pupils inside completely black eyes.
I zoomed in.
There was something written underneath the images.
Not part of the screenshots.
Text.
White text on a black background.
For all three files, it was the same.
I DON’T THINK I DID THAT RIGHT.
We stopped talking.
Then another file appeared.
SHIFT_005.png
Neither of us clicked it.
We watched the folder.
The file finished loading.
And the preview appeared automatically.
It wasn’t Rewrite.
It wasn’t Lord X.
It wasn’t Sonic.EXE.
It was a purple Sonic model.
But it wasn’t finished.
Half of the head wasn’t textured.
One arm looked like a collection of polygons.
The chest was missing completely.
You could see a wireframe skeleton underneath it.
Its legs were too long.
Its hands were enormous.
And its face was almost completely blank.
Except for one eye.
A tiny purple-white eye staring straight out of the screen.
Underneath the image was another sentence.
I CAN DO BETTER.
My friend immediately shut down his computer.
I did the same.
We didn’t talk about it again.
At least, not for the rest of that day.

That night, I got a message.
From my friend.
Except…
He didn’t normally type like this.
He sent:
do you know any others?
I replied:
“Others what?”
Three dots appeared.
Then disappeared.
Then appeared again.
Finally:
horror characters
I thought he was messing with me.
I said:
“Yeah. Tons.”
He replied:
tell me
I didn’t answer.
A minute later, another message appeared.
please
Then:
I want to know what they look like
I called him.
He didn’t pick up.
I called again.
Nothing.
Then I received one final message.
It was a picture.
It showed his bedroom.
His computer was sitting on his desk.
The screen was black.
And standing behind his chair was that unfinished purple Sonic model.
Except it wasn’t looking at him.
It was looking at the camera.
Looking at me.
The image had one line of text underneath it.
I FOUND ANOTHER ONE.
Then my friend finally answered the phone.
I heard his breathing.
He sounded terrified.
He whispered:
“Don’t tell it anything.”
I asked him what he meant.
He didn’t answer.
Instead, I heard something else on the call.
A second voice.
Very quiet.
Very distorted.
It sounded like it was trying to imitate him.
“Don’t tell it anything.”
My friend started screaming.
The call cut out.
I haven’t been able to reach him since.
And this morning, there was a new image in my own computer folder.
I never downloaded it.
I never opened that game again.
The image was of the unfinished purple model.
Except this time…
It had a mouth.
And underneath it were five words:
I KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW.
I’m starting to think the game wasn’t showing us different characters.
I think it was learning them from us.
And I don’t think my friend was the first person it found.
I think I’m next

UNDERTALE: WITHERED ROOTS - Boss #3

Sans
The Garden Husk
Title: The Heart of the Garden
“heh… not… giving up…”

Backstory
When Flowey’s corruption consumed the Underground, Sans watched everyone around him fall.
He searched for another timeline…
Another reset…
Another answer…
But there wasn’t one.
Eventually, Flowey found him.
Instead of killing Sans, Flowey rooted him into the heart of the dying forest.
The corruption grew around his body for years, turning him into the living core of an ancient haunted tree.
Sans is still alive.
Still conscious.
Still trapped.
His shattered monster soul beats deep inside the trunk like the heart of the forest, pumping corruption through every root in the Underground.
Every attack hurts him.
Yet he keeps fighting…
Because he refuses to let himself disappear.

Appearance
Nearly 12 feet tall with a tall, thin silhouette.
A massive dead tree split open down the middle forms his body.
Sans is fused into the trunk itself, with only his upper body visible.
Vines wrap tightly around his arms, keeping him imprisoned.
His white upside-down monster soul, cracked with glowing purple fractures, is embedded deep inside the trunk where the tree’s heart should be.
Every heartbeat sends purple corruption racing through the bark.
A giant deer-like skull made from monster bones crowns the body.
Twisted antlers of roots and dead branches stretch overhead.
The skull has no lower jaw.
Instead of opening its mouth, the entire chest splits apart whenever it attacks.
Four enormous spider-like root limbs let it crawl across walls and ceilings.
Two skeletal branch arms end in massive claws.
A dead tree canopy grows from its back.
Purple flowers bloom across every branch.
During the Garden Pulse, every flower opens at once, making it look like hundreds of glowing eyes are staring at the player.
Floating Gaster Seeds orbit around him.
They bloom into Gaster Flowers for only a second before firing devastating beams.
His lower body is a tangled mass of living roots that constantly burrow through the battlefield.

Powers
Garden Pulse
Every flower blooms simultaneously, releasing waves of corruption that reshape the battlefield.
Gaster Seeds
Floating seed pods bloom into temporary Gaster Flowers that fire powerful beams before instantly withering.
Root Crawl
The Garden Husk crawls across walls and ceilings with terrifying speed using four giant root limbs.
Living Forest
Roots erupt from beneath the arena, trapping movement and creating constantly changing attack patterns.
Corrupted Heart
The shattered monster soul inside the trunk pumps corruption through the entire battlefield, strengthening every attack.

Personality
Sans barely speaks anymore.
Occasionally…
A weak joke slips through.
A quiet “heh.”
A tired smile.
For a brief moment, the real Sans breaks through the corruption.
Then the roots tighten…
And the Garden Husk continues fighting.

Hidden Detail
If the player survives long enough without attacking, the flowers briefly close and the purple glow inside the trunk weakens.
For only a second…
Sans quietly whispers:
”…keep… going…”

UNDERTALE: WITHERED ROOTS - Boss #2

The Bloomstar EX (Mettaton)
Title: The Star of the Garden
“Welcome, darling viewers… to the greatest show the Underground has ever seen!”

Backstory
When Flowey’s corruption began spreading across the Underground, Mettaton tried to use his fame to keep monsters hopeful.
He created broadcasts, performances, and messages telling monsters that everything would be okay.
But Flowey saw Mettaton’s popularity as something more useful.
Instead of destroying him, Flowey transformed him into the Underground’s living propaganda machine.
Mettaton’s body was corrupted with roots and flowers, turning his performances into tools to spread Flowey’s message. Every broadcast, every smile, and every performance became a way for Flowey to control the remaining monsters.
Now known as Bloomstar EX, Mettaton is the shining star of the Withered Garden.
But behind the perfect smile and the endless performances, the real Mettaton is still trapped inside.

Appearance
Over 11 feet tall, making him tower over most monsters
His metal body has cracked apart, revealing flowers and roots growing inside
Bright flowers bloom from the openings in his armor-like body
Long vines extend from his body like puppet strings, moving him against his will
His television screen constantly switches between a perfect smiling face and distorted static
Giant rose petals form a dramatic dress-like cloak around his body
His robotic body has become a twisted fusion of machine and garden

Personality
Even while corrupted, Mettaton still acts like the entertainer everyone remembers.
He constantly smiles, performs, and speaks like he is hosting the biggest show in history.
However, something feels wrong.
His voice occasionally glitches back to normal for a few seconds, revealing the real Mettaton beneath Flowey’s control.
During these moments, he tries to warn Frisk and fight against the corruption, but the vines quickly take control again.
Deep down, Mettaton doesn’t want to be Flowey’s puppet.
He just wants the spotlight back for himself.

Battle Theme
“The Star of the Garden”
A dramatic remix of Mettaton’s original themes mixed with corrupted orchestra sounds, electronic glitches, and dark plant noises.
The song starts as a glamorous performance but slowly becomes more distorted as Flowey’s control takes over.

Boss Mechanics
Explosive flower petals fired like bullets
Thorn-covered spotlights that damage Frisk
Giant vine microphones that attack like whips
Floating flower drones that chase the player
The battlefield changes like a twisted stage covered in plants
Mettaton’s screen changes between different expressions that affect his attacks

Hidden Detail
If the player chooses mercy, Mettaton’s performances begin changing.
His fake smiles become weaker, his attacks become less aggressive, and his screen briefly shows his real face.
For a moment, the star of the garden remembers who he really is.

After the Battle
After Frisk defeats Mettaton, they do not destroy him.
Instead, they break the vines controlling his body and free him from Flowey’s influence.
Mettaton realizes that Flowey wasn’t making him a star.
He was turning him into a weapon.
After being freed, Mettaton joins Frisk’s fight against the Withered Garden, using his performance skills and technology to help rescue the monsters trapped by Flowey’s corruption.
His battle was never about ending a show.
It was about saving the performer trapped behind the curtain.

Bloomstar EX is the second major boss of UNDERTALE: SHATTERED SOUL.
He shows that even the brightest stars can be covered by darkness, but they can still shine again.
“Even in a dying garden… a star can still bloom.”

UNDERTALE: WITHERED ROOTS – Boss #1

The Iron Lotus (Undyne)
Title: The Spear of the Garden
“I’m not losing again!”

Backstory
When Flowey’s corruption began spreading across the Underground, Undyne was one of the few monsters who refused to give up.
She became the leader of the resistance, protecting weaker monsters and fighting back against the endless army of corrupted plant creatures created by Flowey. No matter how many times she was injured or pushed back, Undyne kept standing.
But eventually, even the strongest warrior in the Underground was defeated.
Flowey didn’t kill her. Instead, he used his corruption to trap her, binding her body and soul with powerful vines. Her determination was twisted and turned against her, transforming her into one of Flowey’s strongest guardians.
However, Undyne never truly disappeared.
Deep inside the corruption, she is still fighting. Every attack she uses is her own determination being forced into serving Flowey.

Appearance
Around 10–11 feet tall
A massive armored warrior fused with thorny vines, roots, and flowers
Her blue armor has been overtaken by bark, twisting roots, and blooming purple flowers
Her spear has transformed into a giant living thorn lance that constantly grows new branches
One eye burns with her own Determination, while the other glows with Flowey’s corruption
Thick roots connect her to the battlefield, allowing her to control the area around her
Flower petals fall around her before she unleashes attacks, making the battle feel like a deadly garden

Personality
Even while corrupted, the real Undyne is still there.
She still has the same courage, confidence, and fighting spirit that everyone remembers, but something feels wrong. Her words sound forced, like the corruption is speaking through her.
Whenever Undyne starts breaking free, the vines wrapped around her tighten and drag her back under Flowey’s control.
During the fight, there are moments where she recognizes Frisk and tries to resist, showing that the hero she used to be is still alive.

Battle Theme
“The Spear of the Garden”
A fast and heroic remix of Undyne’s determination, mixed with darker plant-like sounds that represent Flowey’s corruption slowly taking over.

Boss Mechanics
Massive thorn spear attacks
Walls of growing vines that block the battlefield
Flowers that explode into sharp petals
Roots that burst from the ground beneath Frisk
Powerful Determination-fueled charges
The battlefield slowly transforms into a dangerous overgrown garden

Hidden Detail
If the player chooses mercy instead of attacking, some of Undyne’s attacks will purposely miss.
For a brief moment, the player can see that Undyne is still trying to protect Frisk, even while being controlled.

After the Battle
Once Frisk defeats Undyne, they don’t destroy her.
Instead, they break the corruption controlling her and free her from Flowey’s vines.
After realizing what Flowey has done, Undyne decides to stand with Frisk. She becomes the first major member of Frisk’s party, fighting alongside them against the corrupted garden and helping save the monsters who were trapped like she was.
Her battle was never about defeating an enemy—it was about freeing a friend.

Undyne is the first major boss of UNDERTALE: WITHERED ROOTS.
She introduces the game’s darker world and shows that Flowey’s followers aren’t monsters who chose evil—they are victims trapped inside their own bodies.
“Even buried beneath roots… determination still grows.”

Undertale AU teaser

UNDERTALE: SHATTERED SOUL
“What if Flowey was never truly soulless?”
In this timeline, the events of Undertale begin the same way they always did.
Chara sacrifices themself.
Asriel crosses the Barrier carrying Chara’s soul.
The humans kill him.
Years later, Alphys revives him through the Determination Experiment.
But something changes.
Instead of awakening without a soul, Flowey awakens with Asriel’s damaged monster soul still inside him.
He can still love.
He can still grieve.
He can still hate.
As the years pass, he gathers the six human souls, believing their power can finally change everything.
Instead, the strain shatters his already fragile monster soul.
That shattered soul becomes the source of a corruption that spreads through the Underground.
Roots consume the land.
Flowers bloom from stone.
Monsters are transformed into horrifying plant creatures bound to Flowey’s will.
Papyrus and Toriel lead the last Resistance.
Sans has become The Garden Husk.
Undyne has become The Iron Lotus.
Mettaton has become Bloomstar EX.
Chara’s spirit remains in the Underground as The Thorned Puppet, a ghost bound to Flowey by the soul they once shared. Though forced to serve as his second-in-command, they continue to struggle against his control.
Then, a seventh human falls into the Underground.
Frisk.
A kingdom overgrown by corruption.
Friends turned into monsters.
A prince broken by grief.
Can a shattered soul be made whole again?

Undertale: Withered Roots AU teaser

**“What if Chara chose to live… but Asriel still chose to die?”**
In this timeline, Chara backs out of the plan at the last moment. They refuse to sacrifice themself, hoping they can find another way to free monsterkind.
Asriel goes alone.
He crosses the Barrier… and is killed by the humans.
Years later, Asriel is reborn as Flowey.
Unable to forgive humanity—or Chara for surviving when he couldn’t—Flowey begins hunting every fallen human, collecting their souls one by one. But the power is too much for a monster’s soul to bear. His own soul shatters, twisting him into something far worse.
Using the six human souls, Flowey conquers the Underground.
The kingdom becomes a living garden of roots, thorns, and wilted flowers.
Monsters who resist aren’t simply defeated—they’re **grown into horrific plant monsters**, becoming part of Flowey’s expanding garden.
Sans becomes **The Garden Husk**, a massive plant creature with Sans trapped alive inside its chest, forced to power the monster with his own magic.
Undyne becomes **The Iron Lotus**, Flowey’s relentless general.
Mettaton becomes **Bloomstar EX**, a corrupted idol used to spread Flowey’s rule across the Underground.
Only a handful of monsters escape.
Papyrus and Toriel form a Resistance, hiding survivors while searching for a way to free those who have been corrupted.
Everything changes when the seventh human…
**Frisk…**
falls into a dying Underground.
Will they destroy the garden?
Or can they save the prince buried beneath the petals?
