If Scorpios are perceived to be so misunderstood, they also feel that way

New here, lurked from afar. But always had a lifelong feeling that I drive other people crazy sometimes, not good or bad but a general frustration that I can definitely feel. When I feel I’m being modest, some people take it as arrogance. My sense of humor is seems so clever, yet know one understands. What they laugh at I feel is dumb. Some of the most important things to me seem like they matter zero to others. And I’m not huge into this stuff but the people that are, immediately peg me for a Scorpio, which I guess also means a-hole. I definitely hold grudges (I know that’s not a redeeming quality) fight for those I love. Anyway trying to be more self aware but the harder I try, the more I amplify the exact thing I’m not trying to do. Is it overthinking or what? And oh yeah, sometimes I feel like I experience other peoples emotions as if they’re my own, but even more intense then they do probably. How can I just chill TF out?

Anyone ever gets the opportunity to try one of these I highly recommend it.

I’ve had a ton of amps. This thing smokes. The feel and sensitivity is incredible. Never played through a variac’d plexi but if that’s really what this is based off, I get it!

Was browsing Poshmark, I know this one doesn’t pop up often so I thought I’d share.

I can’t swing it but hopefully this helps someone out.

Olympos

Got this out last night. Decided to wear to work today. No idea the service history, I’ve never sent it anyway. Might have to reach out to the guys on the Zodiac thread, my understanding is there’s some kind of quick set date feature but I’d like to understand it before I start screwing around with the crown too much. I’m going to replace the strap for my Gruen and wear that too a little bit too!

Alright guys, taking a break from posting the orange seawolf!

Got an Olympos from an estate sale a couple years ago along with a Gruen. It was an older couple. They had a really cool “western town” they had built on the property. The gentleman explained he had built it for his his children whom had special needs (talk about cool parents!). This literally was a small scale full-on western town. I’m talking store, saloon, jail etc. The amount of things these people collected over the years was overwhelming to take in (Swords, classic cars, antique farm equipment). I ended up talking to them for an hour. I mean true renaissance couple, been all over the world etc. I could tell they had some crazy stories. Ever just meet someone and instantly know they are impressive? Anyway, I was in one of the buildings and saw some costume jewelry. There was a Zodiac (no band) a Gruen, a couple pocket watches, and a fake Rolex. I grabbed the two watches, an Elgin pocket watch and the fake Rolex (no idea why, it’s a comically bad DateJust.) I actually remember grabbing an unopened box of 30-30 ammunition and the guy forgot he was selling a Winchester 94 and it had to go with the gun and pulled it straight out of my hand in front of everyone. lol NBD. The other thing I remember is dropping an f-bomb talking to them about motorcycles and awkwardly apologizing because I felt like I committed the ultimate sin or something! When I was leaving I had asked them where they were going. Sadly they explained that both their children had now passed and that it was painful to stay. They were going to start a new adventure somewhere else. Overall it was a really impactful experience for me in regard wanting to be spontaneous, live in the moment, and be a good dad. I just was thinking tonight if I ever even would have known about Zodiac had that happened too? It’s funny because my 15 year old self would have said these old type of watches are for “dweebs” and now I think they’re super cool. Time goes by so quickly and unfortunately we don’t always get to choose what we remember etc. But I distinctly remember that day so weirdly well.. Wherever this folks are they knew how to live a kick ass life.

What’s on your wrist this evening? This is the “other” Alpinist

Not as popular but makes for a great all-arounder

One of my absolute favorites

I’ve had this for about 7 months now. Never had any issues, keeps excellent time, and haven’t had to take the poly to the crystal yet. Can’t wait to see the new releases.
