I'm 20M, and over the past few weeks I've noticed a significant increase in hair fall.
Whenever I simply run my fingers through my hair, around 2-3 strands come out almost every time. It has become consistent enough that I'm starting to get worried. I don't notice any itching or scalp pain.
One thing that changed recently is that I moved from Hyderabad to Mumbai for my internship. I've heard people mention that Mumbai has hard water, so I'm wondering if that could be causing it. At the same time, I also know that stress, diet changes, or something else could be responsible.
I haven't made any major changes to my hair care routine otherwise.
Has anyone experienced something similar after moving to a different city? Could hard water alone cause this level of hair fall, or should I be looking into other causes like vitamin deficiencies, stress, or early male pattern hair loss?
Any advice on what I should check first or whether I should see a dermatologist would be really helpful.

Let's say there are A and B with same cg, say we both have same pref order of companies that hasn't taken anyone(talking about non interactive list). If A keeps the same order but adds companies like say jpmc and morgan stanley that have already completed selection( just in case their intern req increases as stated by psd sometimes) and B keeps companies only that are yet to take , so will B get the top non interaction company first ?
