Who is Ed Yardeni and why do I care?

Hello... I am somewhat amazed at how often what Ed Yardeni says is reported on Half Time Report. I have read his bio and yes he has very impressive credentials what I still wonder why he is the person Wapner seems to have a need to quote his almost daily utterances. Any insight on this? Thank You.

Purchasing BTC through Schwab or Fidelity?

Hello... With all I have read in the past... FTX ... and what I now read about wallets not being as safe as they once were considered to be (I do not know the difference between hot and cold) is there a good reason not to purchase BTC through Schwab or Fidelity and let them do the storage? Thank You

Just an observation with a question.

Hello... The only show I watch on a regular basis on CNBC IS Half Time Report and today I noticed that there were almost no commercials if any at all. Plenty of promos for other CNBC shows and/or podcasts. Also a PSA but no paid advertisements. Just curious... is there a known reason for this? Thank You

Please pardon a dumb question.

Hello... I own a small amount of both BTC and ETH so I am not completely devoid of knowledge of the crypto ecosystem, but I am trying to understand stablecoins and their use to a person like myself. I do not own a business (retired) and I do not undertake international transactions, yet I see brokers like Fidelity giving me the ability to purchase them. Simply asked, why would I want to hold them? Thank You

A dog named TOPT?

Hello... New to Fidelity and on my page I see Fidelity pushing something called TOPT.. So I took a look.. What the heck!!! A whopping $.03 dividend per quarter, minimal growth and all for an expense ration of .20... Is this what I can expect from Fidelity? Thank you

168 Hours until payment is made?

Hello... I just purchased something on eBay, my first purchase in a few months, and upon winning I received an email informing me that my payment will be made in 168 hours? I have bought for years and am using the same credit card I always have and I see the money already taken from my account. I am sure the selling is not too pleased. What Gives? Thank you

"Stealing" percent of state tax?

Hello... Has anyone ever figured out how eBay justifies first computing the amount of state tax from a buyer on a sale (required by law) and then taking from the seller a percent of this amount as a fee? Thank You

Is there anyone leading XXI?

If someone at XXI would simply stand up and say... "Hey, we are a company and we do have a business plan." ...... Or is Tether attempting to drive the price of stock so low that they can buy it ALL back and become a private company owning all the BTC?

Is BTC gains Long/Shot term?

Hello... I understand that when BTC is held in an acct such as Schwab or Fidelity it is not a stock but considered by the IRS to be property. When sold do you know if the one (1) year holding period which differentiates between short and long term holding still applies? Thank You

Hello.... I am simply curious. While I am not a constant watcher of the stock market, as a holder of SCHD I have noticed that during the day it seems to go up and down like something day traders are investing in rather than something held for the long term. Any idea/comment/input/opinion on this? Thank You
