Hi everyone! Does anyone know roughly which AZ months/years are currently being processed or receiving decisions for §5 StAG applications?

I’ve recently seen some reports of applications with AZ dates from early 2024 being decided, but I’m trying to get a better idea of the current timeline.

If you recently received a decision, could you please share your AZ month/year, country/region, and when the decision came through?

Has anyone else noticed this? I was getting orders constantly, including stacked orders, during a busy period. Then I got to one delivery away from completing my Quest, and suddenly I received nothing for almost an hour, even though the area was still busy.
Is this just bad luck, or has anyone experienced the same thing when they’re one order away from completing a Quest?

I’m in my late 20s and the Sunshine Coast feels surprisingly isolated to me and it is not a small place. The beaches are beautiful, but outside of that it feels very quiet, spread out and like there isn’t much going on socially.
I haven’t lived in a bigger Australian city yet, so I’m curious: do Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth feel very different for someone young, or is this quiet/isolated feeling common across Australia?

I’m doing Uber Eats by e-bike on the Sunshine Coast and finding it pretty difficult. Everything is spread out, a lot of trips are long, cycling infrastructure isn’t always great, and people sometimes look at me like delivering by bike is unusual.
For anyone who has done Uber Eats in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide: is e-bike delivery much more common and practical there? Better routes, shorter trips, more bike couriers?

Me • Born: 1997, Peru

All descendants were born in wedlock.
My great-grandfather could not have become a naturalized Peruvian citizen before my grandmother was born, because the children of my grandmother’s younger sibling have already obtained German citizenship by descent.

I would like to know what processing times people from Latin America are currently experiencing under StAG §5.
My family and I applied through the German Embassy in Lima, Peru. Our Aktenzeichen is from January 2025

The case is relatively straightforward. Several relatives descending from the same German ancestor have already obtained German citizenship and passports through the paternal line, and their files were referenced in our application.

For those who recently received their certificates, especially from Latin America, how long did the process take from AZ to approval?
Based on current timelines, when would you estimate a January 2025 AZ case could be resolved?

Hi everyone. I’ll be flying with Fiji Airways soon and I was wondering how strict they are with carry-on baggage. I know the allowance is 7 kg, but do they actually weigh carry-on bags at check-in or the gate?

Siento que la gente en general se ve cansada, poco arreglada, con menos ganas de socializar o disfrutar. Hi all — two related questions for anyone following BVA throughput on §5 (declaration / Erklärung) cases:

1.	Is there any evidence that the BVA is resolving §5 cases faster now than in previous years? For example, people whose cases moved quicker than the old estimates, or any data showing monthly throughput has gone up.

2.	Does anyone know whether the BVA   

has hired or is hiring additional staff to deal with the backlog, or whether there’s been any official commitment (budget, headcount) to increase capacity?

Any firsthand experiences, recent Freedom of Information data, or news on BVA staffing/budget would be really helpful.
