Should I keep this 85 inch TV I ordered from Flipkart?

Hi All,

I found a good deal on this Toshiba C450NP 85 inch TV on Flipkart and got it for Rs 56k (including exchange of Rs 9k for old 32 inch TV which otherwise I was getting offers like 3-4k on Olx) so effectively can say got it for Rs 56k+4k = Rs 60k.

Currently deal price is no less than Rs 1 lac on Flipkart.

This s the one - https://dl.flipkart.com/dl/toshiba-c450np-215-cm-85-inch-qled-ultra-hd-4k-smart-google-tv-dolby-vision-atmos-regza-engine-zr/p/itm3281cac912a15?pid=TVSHFZVHRNCZKFCM&lid=LSTTVSHFZVHRNCZKFCMQWUJC2&scrollTo=VALUE\_STORE&marketplace=FLIPKART&\_refId=&\_appId=CL

It's 2024 model. Now I am a little confused if I should retain the order or cancel it. Is it a good TV as per you? Needed some suggestions.

IPL’s Most Explosive Batters Ever - Ranked by Sixes/Innings, Boundaries/Innings & % Runs in Boundaries (Easy guess for who's the topper)

Just did an analysis to see who are the top 20 players if sorted by not just number of sixes (which is where Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit will lead) but Sixes per each innings which is a more true creteria of explosiveness. Went one step ahead to then see Number of boundaries per innings (Fours + Sixes) and last one to see what % of runs is each player scoring only in boundaries and who tops that. Attaching the Top 20 Lists of each of the 3 Creteria.

Few insights:

1) The Ultimate Ball-Strikers If you're looking at the most destructive T20 batters, nine names pop up in all of the three Top 20 lists: Suryavanshi, Chris Gayle, Rickleton, Priyansh Arya, Mitchell Marsh, Phil Salt, Chris Lynn, Travis Head, and Prabhsimran. Bold ones currently not active.

Narrow that down to the absolute elite - guys who crack the Top 10 across all three metrics and you're left with just four monsters: Suryavanshi, Gayle, Salt, and Rickleton. Rickleton was a surprise for me here.

  1. Suryavanshi is Playing a Different Game: The guy is operating on another planet. Topper in all 3 lists !! He gets a ridiculous 89% of his runs from boundaries (and is scoring every 100 runs off just 43 balls) while somehow still averaging over 40. To put that in perspective: only he and Klaasen boast a 40+ average alongside a 165+ strike rate. Even if you generously drop the cutoff to a 35 average, literally no one else joins them.

  2. Sai Sudharsan's Elite Anchoring: Sai’s numbers are fascinating. He hits the second-most boundaries per innings, but they only account for 60% of his total runs. It shows he isn't just teeing off - he’s elite at rotating the strike, building massive innings, and perfectly pacing his knocks rather than relying purely on muscle.

  3. The Narine Lottery: He is an outlier. He tries to clear the ropes on every delivery, getting 81.5% of his runs via boundaries. Naturally, that all-or-nothing approach means his average sits at a modest 17.5.

  4. The Legends: Seeing Mike Hussey (#19 in boundaries per innings) and Gilly (#11 in % of runs from boundaries) still holding their own in these modern data sets is wild. It just proves how dominant they were, destroying attacks back in an era when bowlers actually had a say in T20 cricket.

Where is the Firepower? (Top 20 Six-Hitters by Franchise)

  • SRH: Leading the pack with 4 (Klaasen, Abhishek, Livingstone, Head). Just an absolute cheat code of a batting lineup.
  • RCB: Patidar and Salt are bringing the heavy artillery for RCB
  • PBKS: 2 (Priyansh, Prabhsimran). Both openers.
  • LSG: 2 (Marsh, Pooran).

Hope you find this interesting. Any insights you found, please share :)

P.S. - Apologies to GT fans, incorrectly marked Butler in RR.

Big innings from Salt tomorrow?

Played a game on Meta VR (IB Cricket) and this is what RCB ended up with against GT.

Powerplay was 6 ov 40/2 with a very slow start by Salt but he then accelerated through the middle and end to get us to a respectable total.

I usually do this before our match i.e. playing a game on VR against the same opponent that we are about to face.

Hoping from such a big innings from P Salt tomorrow but a score even higher than this as 188 might not be enough 😅

Top 2 Scenarios for tomorrow's match

So, RCB will have to ensure they in case they lose, they lose less than 87 runs and for top of table, they need to lose by less than 75 runs.

P.S. - Margins mentioned above will not differ too much if SRH scores anything else 180 or 160.
