Need UPI app suggestion! [I am a student not earning rn]

I am a student and I just got my very first bank account created and I need a good upi app for transactions. My requirements are:

  1. Gives good cashback (if that even happens)

  2. Doesn't try to sell me shit every 10 minutes via a notification.

  3. Should be reliable (if reliability is even a parameter if applicable)

(I know all these things aren't possible in 1 app but still need suggestions for a good upi app)

Thanks!

[Sorry for increasing the RAM prices using the AI slop]

Why the hell people think brown sugar is better than white?

I don't understand who the hell started this nonsense that brown sugar is healthy and white is bad/poison 💀. People literally think that in the same levels of sweetness the brown sugar contains less calories than white [Oh God 💀].

I don't understand why tf people want to pay 2x to 4x the price to get the same kind of sweetness. This is madness😩

Why is inverter making loud noises in grinder's "WHIP" mode but not in "HIGH" mode?

The inverter makes very abnormally loud noises when the grinder is used in whip mode but doesn't do the same in high mode.

Inverter specs:

Luminous D 1050

- output: 230V 50Hz square wave

- output limit: 900VA/756W

Grinder specs:

- SUJATA POWERMATIC PLUS

- input: 230-240V 900W (yeah I know it's over the rated output capacity of the inverter 😅)

But despite it being over the capcity only whip mode makes THAT much of noise. High mode it stays silent like it usually does.

I got a detention from the cops for the first time 💀

Pata hai aaj kya hua!

I (18M) was at the railway junction of my city and I had went to pickup my mom and sister who were coming back home from another city. The train was late so I had 3 hours to kill.

As I was walking on the platform I saw a massive crowd looking at some scene being created. So the cops were confronting some homeless people, scolding them over something. And I started recording it, after 1 full minute one of the cops noticed and yelled "aa banaa le video" and then came over to me and snatched my phone. I immediately begged him I will delete in front of their eyes, but he said "chalo thaane" they took me to the RPF office at the station (they didn't use any handcuffs or force, just told me to come with them).

Then they took me to their senior and told him I was recording then while they were doing their shit. So that senior asked me why I was recording, I told nothing just recording those people who were yelling and making a scene on the platform. He got a little irritated "so what were we doing? Were you helping us? Were we doing something bad, something illegal, were we beating someone? What were we doing??" I said no sir, nothing wrong.

He then asked the passcode (though I had rights to deny but I didn't wanna get into a case or something, that too at the RPF station at midnight) and then he watched the video and deleted (even from the recycle bin) it and reprimanded and asked where I live and what do I do (imma student) and told me it's not right to record (Lies! I know but I didn't think it was a good idea to argue Anyway so yeah).

Anyway I apologised for this and I was released and so was my phone. Thankfully I was released in just about 5 to 10 minutes and I just got to the train which just arrived as soon as I walked out, I picked up my mom from there and I came back home. She doesn't know. Only I know this happened with me. Thankfully the cops were Nice and not crack minded or else I could've gotten beaten up easily.

TBH I think those cops were fearing that I could've made the video viral and that could land administrative trouble on them. Anyway this was my first experience in a police station. Don't worry guys I'm completely safe and sound thanks to God.

Today I learnt; whenever recording cops public activity or angry people, make sure they don't notice I'm recording them, hold the phone such a way they don't know I'm recording

TL;DR: I got detained for recording cops handling people and got detained for it and was released soon.

SCAM BEWARE: Scammers are trying to lure users into doing spam and promising a payment.

You may see new or even old accounts who message you to pay you for posting promotions of specific things. DO NOT DO IT! These are illegal things they are trying to promote and reddit takes down any accounts which do so. That's because reddit actively takes down very new and low karma accounts. The specific offer I was given was promoting "IPTV" thing. These are mostly illegal streaming services. DO NOT POST the things they tell you so because it will cause reddit to permanently ban your account and these people DO NOT PAY and they disappear. BEWARE OF SUCH DMs.

OP went to the next gen petrol pump 100% national 0% anti-national: Review

The petrol pump had really affordable fuel. The pump attendant was very polite. The fuel was bada gilass (300mL) ₹20 only therefore it was ₹66.67/Liter. Very affordable. There were chairs for the customers to sit on and wait for fresh fuel. Very satisfied, much national, Wow! I don’t know why people hate the new kind of fuel. It’s very beneficial for India.

(OP uses an electric scooter: Ather Rizta S and an electric car: MG Comet)

Why do they open the railway crossing barrier diagonally instead of doing it straight? Feature or flaw?

So this track comes from a maintenance yard towards the main izzatnagar station (bareilly). They always open the crossing barriers on the state highway diagonally instead of opening it straight. Is it a flaw in their or a well thought plan? (Sorry if you find the video too long)

2026 is the worst year to buy a car in India. Hear me out

Given the recent e20 fuel being forcefully rolled out with no option left for non compatible cars, and rollout of various other blends like e22 e25 e27 e30 and e85 being rolled out whilst the majority of the cars on the road and even new ones being produced aren't even compatible yet. The worst part is that fuel is already expensive and prices are rising day by day; although that isn't the main concern. The real problem is the fact that the policy of rollout is rushed and forced. This is a real problem because cars run between a very narrow range of fuel ethanol blends percentage wrt the specified type and anything exceeding it will cause damage and consequently costly repair bills and an unreliable vehicle. And in this scenario EVs are starting to make sense now for most people. But even this has its own problems like lack of public charging infrastructure and battery and range constraints. Moreover as if what I've heard some states planning the mandate to install separate meters for ev chargers which will have higher tariffs for the power (I've heard of it but idk what's actually going on for now). Moreover EV costs themselves are at a high entry point compared to ICE cars.

So all I'm trying to say is if it is possible, please put your car purchase plans on hold until this fuel option mess settles and stabilises.

Thank you for reading if you've made till this point 😁
