This is slightly embarrassing but I need help.
My wife and I bought our first rods since we were kids and have been fishing a ton over the past 4 days. The catch is... neither of us have caught a single fish...

I have tried rigs like the texas rig, carolina rig, various bobber setups and a few other beginner rigs for the locations im fishing at. I have gone at 2am. 7am. 8pm. Mid-day. Literally every time of day, flipping county to county, pond to river to lake. I've done a ton of research on the proper techniques and baits to use while on a budget and none of it has worked and I'm starting to get pretty de-motivated. People on YouTube make it out to be like they're catching tens of fish per trip and I haven't even caught one.

I can't think of anything that I'm doing wrong at the moment. My gear seems decent, maybe its the weather being too hot? Since Wednesday here in GA its been nearing °100F. Am I overthinking this and its just not common to catch many fish? Or do I just suck lol.
