I recently got hired as a social media manager for a small brand, but they're paying me really less like really really less about 1500/month. And I wanna become financially independent to manage my own expenses. Any suggestions or anything like any business willing to pay better prices?

I’m 18 year old (female) beginner in social media management and I’m genuinely passionate about SMM, content creation, branding, and helping small businesses grow online. A home grown brand recently reached out to me, and after discussing everything, the owner and I had basically finalised the work, responsibilities, and payment. However, she has now stopped responding and is ignoring my messages, which has been really discouraging because I was counting on this opportunity.

I still want to pursue SMM seriously, not just as a temporary side hustle. I’m going to start college soon and will be moving out for my studies, so my goal is to become financially independent and earn my own money before I leave. I don’t have years of professional experience yet, but I’m willing to learn quickly, put in consistent effort, and prove myself through my work, I've also done a few small projects but it was a long time ago and the brand is closed now. I know Canva, basic content planning, Instagram management, research, Pinterest, Google Sheets/Excel, and basic video editing, and I’m willing to start with small businesses, home-grown brands, creators, influencers, or local businesses.

I recently got a lot of comments saying seu isn't good it's really overcrowded, no peer pressure for academics, attendance isn't mandatory as well. I've been coaching for almost 2 years and it fucked my life, my mind because I felt invisible there, no one cares about you or your academics, it's only you and you, hence fell into depression. I'm still recovering from it but hearing about all these things has made me anxious but I've already booked my seat and paid over 2000$, Please help and give some advice.
