Your mom was pretty cool. But she wasn't as cool as mine. We recently found this in her "important documents" folder. ~July 20, 1982~
We recently got news that Herringbone may become a movie in another country. So it was excellent timing that we found this!
My mother was a beautiful, talented woman. She lived an extraordinary life. We miss her every day.
A favorite instrument of Jacob Collier's, the Harpejji! I visited the workshop of Marcodi recently to learn about their story and their massive success.
youtu.be[REQUEST] Chicago Band Parts (Typeset)
I'm ideally looking for the teen edition full band-parts. It has been requested in the past, but with no replies.
I see somebody posted the full version, but the drive is missing Keyboard 1, Keyboard 2, and the Piano-Conductor Score. If anybody have those in typeset PDFs, that would be equally appreciated! I have the handwritten parts already.
Video file doesn't work after upgrading to DaVinci 21
I am encountering a strange issue that I've never seen before. Any suggestions? Thanks!
(I'm on Windows and using Davinci Studio 21)
So I use a program called Descript for its features, before exporting the video and continuing to edit it in DaVinci. And while the mp4 video file Descript plays normally on other programs (like media player), when I import it into DaVinci, the video always freeze frames about 1/3rd of the way into the clip, while the audio continues playing. When I try playing it again DaVinci freezes adn then closes.
- I tried importing other videos exported from Descript with the same result.
- It only has that issue with videos that are exported from Descript. Other video files are fine.
- On my other computer, where I still have Davinci 20, it doesn't have that issue. It works perfectly fine.
- I started using Descript only recently. And only upgraded to Davinci 21 3 days ago. I don't know much of this is a coincidence or not.
- I looked at the Crash logs, but either I didn't see anything wrong, or more likely, I don't know what I'm looking for.
I recently visited Singapore native Ng Teck Seng, who makes the Dizi. He's applied technology to ensure that the Dizi maintains perfect tone and overtones!
youtu.beSondheim, "In every show I write, I try to have one South American piece, and one Harold Arlen". Can Anybody suggest other examples?!
youtu.beI visited Doran (@kupobuilds) in Singapore who makes their unique and weird "Crumply" Cymbals!
youtu.beHello, I'm American but my wife is British. We live in Japan at the moment. Anytime I've been to London, I've been impressed with the theatre and arts scene, and I'm looking at potentially making a career and life move to London.
My background is in Music and Theatre. With theatre, I have lots of credits and background with mostly Music Directing and as a theatre teacher. Besides that I have experience with directing, tech theatre, playwriting, and performing/acting.
With music, I'm a multi-instrumentalist, teacher, composer, arranger, etc.
I'm interested to know what the market is like especially with my skills.
I'm looking to chat with somebody who might be able to share their experiences or their two-cents. Bonus if you are American, and if you have a family.
Coment or send me a PM!
Thanks!
