ik it’s a doctor question but based on others experience i was curious what option was better.

when i got mine inserted i felt bloating and almost like my body was trying to push my iud out of me. i just got mine removed two days ago and im feeling the same way. just not very good. i cant see anything online abt these symptoms just wondering if anyone related

i went a month ago to the dr for pelvic pain on my left side.
i had a cyst on my left ovary and turned out i had an infection as well internally. they asked abt any prior infections i said not that i know of. they gave me antibiotics. i’m so conflicted abt this whole thing. i got my iud in december i also had an abortion last june idk if it could’ve been from either of those things but if it effects fertility im so sad about it. when i got my iud they tested for diseases and those were negative.
besides the pain last month i haven’t had any more pain. i hope this means im ok.
but i just wanted to see if anyone wanted to share their experience or give me comfort lol
i guess i will see tm if i have PID confirmed.

i kinda just trusted her word at the time because i’m scared to get another one inserted but it’s become obvious to me that’s it isn’t in a good place after all because i feel discomfort during sex and my partner told me he can feel it.
have an appointment coming up im gonna ask if they can remove and give me a new one.
just a little vent. im also scared since its shifted if it might be imbedded in my wall ugh

has anyone had one removed and put in same appointment?
any similar experience anyone wants to share?

i heard someone say they got iodine out on their vulva before insertion. did anyone else get this? i was not. they just opened me up and put iodine on my cervix and then inserted IUD. just curious.

i’ve been going through it lately & i’m broke asf. i just wanna be able to work and get some form of income without being in pain. help a girly out with what i should know

on antibiotics and pain meds but even then i feel discomfort still. i’m going through it honestly because i feel not the best and i can’t even consume many things without feeling terrible. low energy so i drank an alani. didn’t feel good since drinking that so haven’t done anything once again. my place is a mess its so just so upsetting. i wanna be normal again already! im a week away from my period so im already feeling pms and not looking forward to when i do get my period : (

if anyone wants to share any websites with information on ovarian cysts or anywhere i can chat with others going through the same thing lmk. i feel so alone in this. thanks!

just curious if anyone else has had PID. it’s not confirmed only speculated but i’m just very depressed now. this whole thing sucks so much. never had burning when peeing, fever or chills, vomiting though. probably won’t have a appointment with a doctor til june 24th so i’m left with my thoughts about this and worry as i have to go back to work for income soon.

edit because it won’t let me reply to a comment for some reason but ive not had any weird vagina symptoms like burning in my vulva. only pressure and left side abdominal pain.

i’m 23F never had one to my knowledge. but i do now (wasn’t told the size but was enough pain to send me to urgent care and ER.) it sucks a lot. what sucked even more was the ER doctor saying “women get these, preg women work”
when i asked about what i could do regarding work accommodations. i have a physical job at amazon so i would have liked to have someone backing me up medically when it came to moving too much.
i’m afraid of any ruptures or torsions : (
sorry for the vent but it was just very disheartening to hear that and i wanna get get better asap.
i am on naproxen and doxycycline hyclate at the moment but what other life style changes helped you when you had a cyst?

i (23F) got diagnosed with PMDD in my early teens (17) haven’t rlly had bad PMS since then until after i got my IUD. i rlly enjoyed it the first few months (insertion in december) my periods weren’t bad or upset heavy then bam this last period i had a rlly heavy and painful period. then followed pain and pressure right after my periods ended and turns out i have an ovarian cyst. i wonder how long ive had it it’s so weird! wish i knew.
if you’ve had one with copper IUD what’s your experience? i’m very curious

i’m suspecting that i have one. bloated. pressure on one side of my abdomen. gas so much gas! abdomen and lower back sharp pain i’ve felt abruptly. i’m calling clinics tomorrow so i can get a low cost appointment but im so scared. not sure why. what was the outcome for u with yours if you’ve had it before with the copper IUD? i rlly dont want them to take my iud out 🥲

had mine since end of december. periods have been fine up until this past one. i’m finally not bleeding/spotting after about 10 days. i’m used to it lasting a week now of bleeding/spotting but this time around it was more stubborn and i bled more than usual. have had cramping even after i’ve been done bleeding w just spotting.
i do amazon for a form of income and the heavy lifting was not mixing well with me being post period. when using my core my abdomen feels very weird and was wondering if anyone else experienced this. i’ve had this feeling before post period but not the way it is now.
