Is there MCO Meal Catering?

Flying MCO-BOS in FC twice in a couple weeks - and a lot more for work in the weeks to come. On one of the flights, it says there will be a set menu so you can't pre-reserved for the meal. On the other, it shows the standard FC menu options, but you select, I get this MCO-BOS flight error message.

On my BOS-MCO flights, I have no issue pre-ordering a meal.

Is this something around them double catering these flights and that's why I should expect to set meal? Should I expect it to be similar to the boxes of ready-made/self-stable on the regionals?

Any insights on recent meals out of MCO would be appreciated, flyertalk has a huge thread but somehow no meals out of MCO which makes it odder...

Favorite Knoxville Property?

I'm coming over from Hyatt, and am amazed with the number of options in each city with Hilton - though it's giving me some serious decision paralysis.

Would love to hear from folks who have been, is there a clear favorite property in Knoxville? Cumberland and the Graduate seem to be favorites, but the reviews on here/FlyerTalk are all quite old. The regular Hilton Knoxville gets mediocre TripAdvisor reviews, but is so cheap I could get a suite for the price of a regular room at either of the two - is it decent enough for that to be worth it?

If helpful, we're only in Knoxville for a day after the Smokies, so trying to solve for a place that's a good recovery crash pad, but also central enough that we can explore for a night.

Thanks so much y'all!

Fan Fest Medical Bags

Was at the fan fest this weekend and had a great time, I think it was one of the best that I went to across the country so far.

Wanted to post this as a word of warning for anyone who might be going to the future KC FanFests with a medical bag: the non-GA line (garden/legacy lounge) was turning away medical bags left and right, telling people to throw away medication (including my own) and not letting them in across multiple days that I was there.

If you do need to bring a medical bag, a few tips I learned from myself and others I met there:

* Your best bet is to declare to a volunteer (not security) that it's a medicine bag. They will likely route you to the ADA line instead of the non-GA line as they're aware this has become a major issue

* If you do get turned away at security, find one of the volunteers in a FIFA branded outfit, and they can escalate it on your behalf

* If there is even a tissue in your bag in addition to the medication, they will tell you to throw out the full bag

Otherwise, it really was a lovely Fan Fest and hope all y'all enjoy the rest of it

[Norlander] Sources: As a result of NCAA Tournament expansion, the Ivy League will be moving its four-team playoff from Saturday/Sunday of Selection Sunday weekend to that Friday/Sat instead. Next year's tourney will be at the Palestra. Future sites are TBD. ADs decided last week.

Follow up post: The reason the Ivy tournament is moving: The league is worried about having its teams fall to the 15/16-line and going to the play-in games on one day's rest. This move was a direct reaction to going to 76 teams and having more automatic qualifiers feed into the Opening Round.
