How do we know when we’re in love?

When do we know when we’re in love?

I’m in a relationship and have been for about 5 months. I feel love for her (and have thought it in my head numerous times “I love you”) but I’m still not sure? I still get scared and uncomfortable and disconnect from my feelings and need space. I remember knowing I loved my ex because I could tell him anything but with this person I still feel the need to be a bit more guarded because I think they are a bit more politically correct than I am in my sense of humour and we don’t share AS MUCH of a sense of humour as me and my ex (but I broke up with him because he had anger issues, although our connection was so fast).

Any thoughts are appreciated!!

Are condos in Ottawa appreciating?

I was looking at a couple condos in 349 McLeod st downtown and they seem to all be selling oftentimes at a loss. I’m pretty new to this but does anyone have any idea on how the condo market is for this city?

Thanks!

Anyone here have success with Clean beauty as it pertains to acne?

Personally, my skin improves greatly with products that don’t have any sort of preservatives such as parabens, and other stuff such as BHT, synthetic perfume, pthlates, and something called phenoxyethonol. These are just some of the things that, when I buy products without them, my skin drastically improves!
Mind you I also have to pay attention to not putting comodogenic alternatives but honestly this is easy to do with all the products on the market these days.

Why are people so hostile to ppl critiquing chemicals?

I posted something on the r/acne subreddit and it got taken down specifically because i mentioned chemicals in skin products as having caused my hormonal acne. I dont understand the mechanism, I only know through trial and error that if I use products that are more naturally derived, like body lotion made with simple ingredients such as shea butter, that my acne goes away. I have wondered if this had to do with endocrine blockers, or something else.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this kind of reaction and from other subreddits about this topic. Or, alternatively, if anyone has had similar experience with acne and cleaner beauty products.

Thoughts on the Yuka app?

Hi! I use the Yuka app to get an idea of the makeup
And skin products I use. Was wondering what you all thought about it? So far it has not led me astray (I can usually tell when I’m using something bad for me because my acne acts up). But I’ve heard that the app takes money to give positive ratings but I am not sure how true this is as it could be hearsay.

Progress!!!

I wanted to post this because what has helped my acne is rarely spoken about. I am a 38F and I have had bad hormonal acne around my mouth and chin since I was 26 years old.
The first picture is 2 years ago when I was badly suffering still, the two others are today. I have, for the past year and a half, largely solved my problem because the lotions and creams and products I use all have limited chemicals in them.

And for 1.5 years my skin has been very clear. Sometimes a small zit will come, other times one will start and then go away, especially when I’m pmsing. But this has worked for me.

Would Cleopatra have had success with Octavian?

Seducing him to be her lover had Antonio’s not shown up I mean. Just wondering. She was so liberated as a woman, Marcus Antonius didn’t seem as bothered by that as his wife Fulvia also was a feisty woman but I have never read his or her biography, only Cleopatra’s and Livia’s.

Anyways, any thoughts are welcome.

Does anyone think maybe Joey was just never happy with Dawson romantically?

That that is why they didn’t work? And I want to be clear, that I am not talking about how the shows writers made Joey do these thing because they needed conflict because it’s a tv show. Let’s imagine this show is real ok?

My thoughts:
She seems to find fault with their relationship in season 2 and needs to “find herself” (maybe the relationship wasn’t all she dreamed of?). They get back together but they break up again because of the thing with her dad, true, but maybe that was an easy out for her? That he still wasn’t feeling right as a lover.
And then she second guesses herself at the beginning of season 3 and is also jealous about Eve but then eventually moves on with Pacey and is pretty determined from then on that Pacey is her OTP until he breaks up with her (except she has some lingering feelings for Dawson, but even with those feelings she is still pretty strongly in with Pacey, feeling he will one day know her better than Dawson as she tells him in 4.07.).

She dallys with Dawson again in season and they sleep together but didn’t anyone feel like her rejection of him after finding out about the other woman was an easy out for her? Like she felt relieved? That again it wasn’t meeting expectations?

Years go by and she tells Dawson he is her platonic soulmate and gets back with Pacey telling him she has been running away from her feelings for him.

What would have happened if Pacey told Dawson..

That he loved Joey in season 3 when they went camping? I think it’s possible nothing would have ever happened because Dawson would have made such a stink that Pacey wouldn’t have kissed Joey and Joey wouldn’t have figured it out. Or maybe Joey would somehow find out Paceys feelings and be tempted and they would have kissed?

Did Jen make Pacey realize he liked Joey?

In episode 9 of season 3, the dance ep. Pacey seems confused when Jen mentions Joey being his “girl Friday”, but after that episode his attitude changes. I think Jen made him bring what was underneath to the surface. Before this episode Joey and Pacey were dancing badly, the dance teacher said they had sexual tension and they both look shocked.
What do you all think?

The fact that the app keeps sending me videos even though I keep telling them I don’t want videos of this type?! It makes me so angry and sends me in spirals so I deleted the app and hope to make it a month before I go on again.

Wish me luck! It’s so hard, it’s like quitting sugar!

Edit to add; I think I used the wrong flare, I thought it says “mental health “
