Shocked by how much the Dublin cinema has changed since change of ownership

It feels like a different place now. Ditching Pepsi for Coke and Fanta, lower stock of hot dogs it seems. Also what the heck is Movieplex? A brand new cinema chain? Probably not as IMC is the new owner.

They replaced the popcorn bags with unbranded ones, and replaced again with a Movieplex bag. Like I said before, what the heck is Movieplex?

I last visited the venue on May 27 for Mandalorian and came back again for End of Oak Street. Lots have changed since I last visited.

Why does the card appear as black even though I started the subscription today to pay monthly?

Shouldn’t an unlimited card transition from red to black when three months have passed since your subscription unless you pay yearly? Weird

Cineworld Dublin displays End of Oak Street as 12A even though it was officially given a 15A in Ireland

I wouldn’t blame ‘em though. The film got officially rated only yesterday and the 12A listing has been there for a while likely as a placeholder. Why did they only rate the film now if it comes out this week? Late submission?

Who could voice Leonard and Mighty Eagle in the third AB movie if they get recast?

Considering that neither Peter Dinklage and Bill Hader are on the cast list and both their characters are confirmed to return, it is really likely that they got recast (Hader is doing the Cat in the Hat film that releases the month before, idk about Dinklage).

There are still people in the cast list in which we do not know their roles yet.

Tickets are now on sale for The End of Oak Street

No showtimes for Cineworld Dublin yet for some reason, my local Cineworld. Guess that’s because of IMC.

End of Oak Street will apparently only be 1 hour and 39 minutes long

Source is the Cineworld App. Maybe check any other sources like your local cinema. Otherwise, the shorter runtime seems pretty legit so far, so I hope the pacing of the film doesn’t feel rushed

What kind of ticket is that?

Some new ticket called Marketing P£5 for just ONE euro. Who is that for? Should I risk getting as its just a euro?

This is for Dublin as you could tell by the Euro sign. Anyone in the UK seeing this?

Edit: when you go to check out with the Marketing P£5 ticket you actually get charged 0 euro including subtotal/VAT.

There is the possibility Doug won’t make a cameo in Supernova

I think this cuz Adam didnt come back to direct the film. Hopefully Grant doesn’t forget about this chubby boi

What was it like hearing Ghidorah’s alpha roar in the cinema?

I am certain it must have been terrifying to hear on a cinema sound system. What an wonderful sound effect.

Is Tesana AI worth it?

I am quite curious about AI game developing. I was wondering if Tesana AI was a good enough site to pay for to just try it out myself. So far I have seen mixed reactions ‘bout. I used to be very hateful toward AI but I have warmed up to it as long as it is not relied on.

Based on experiencr, would Tesana be worth the price, or are there better alternatives to give AI gaming a try?
