Genuine question: How can some Pakistanis praise the Taliban while Pakistan continues suffering from terrorism?

I've really been thinking about this especially when I see people in Pakistan talking about the Taliban in a way.

Pakistan has gone through a lot because of terrorism. There have been attacks on schools on mosques on security forces and on people. The TTP has also done a lot of attacks in Pakistan.

So what I don't get is why some people still talk about the Taliban in a way or think they are a good thing for the area.

I know that people can have opinions and I'm not trying to hurt anyone. I'm really asking: what makes some people support the Taliban when Pakistan is still dealing with terrorism from groups that think the way as the Taliban?

If you support them I would actually like to hear why.. If you don't why do you think some people, in Pakistan still support them?
Again I'm not saying anybody's wrong or bad I'm just asking generally, Ik my POV doesn't matter in this place

Hey guys, How do i open this in full screen

Like, this map is so beautiful and has so much detail. I honestly like it more than Google Earth. Is there any way to open it in full screen like other maps? I've even tried making my own and installing templates, but nothing comes close to this one.

So... I finally shipped my first actual app.

It's called CST AI, and it's basically a desktop AI client I built with Electron because I wanted something that felt fast and clean instead of opening 15 browser tabs.

Right now it has:

  • Bring-your-own API key support
  • A few built-in models
  • Dark blue UI (I spent way too long tweaking it 😭)
  • Command palette
  • Some small usage metrics
  • No ads, and it's completely free

I'm honestly just happy I got it working and released.

Now I'm wondering where to take it next.

My goal isn't anything crazy—I just want to get to around $100/month, which is like 10–20 people paying $5–10 each.

The problem is... since it's a BYOK app, I can't really lock basic AI chat behind a subscription. So I'm trying to figure out what would actually be worth paying for.

If you were looking at an app like this, what features would genuinely make you spend $5–10/month?

Or if you were in my shoes, how would you find those first 10–20 paying users? Would you add power-user features? Automation? Local models? Something else?

Would love some brutally honest feedback. 🙏

Here's what the UI looks like:

IDK Title

Hey everyone,

I’m a solo developer and I just built CST AI, a lightweight, minimal desktop AI client using Electron. It features built-in free models, a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) setup, a clean dark/blueish UI, micro-metrics, and a fast command palette.

Right now, the app is 100% free with no ads. I’m incredibly proud of getting it launched, but my next goal is to hit a tiny financial milestone: $100 MRR.

Since it’s currently a BYOK client, I know it's tough to monetize standard chat wrapper features. I want to ask the seasoned builders here: What features would actually make you pay $5–$10 a month for a desktop AI app?

If you were in my shoes trying to scrape together your first 10–20 paying users, how would you package this or pivot it to make it monetizable? Appreciate any blunt advice!

Built a headless text-to-JSON engine to fund my next big project. Would one actually pay for this?

Hey everyone,

I got tired of copy-paste AI chatbots, so I built a backend utility instead. I'm trying to fund a bigger SaaS project, so I launched this micro-tool first to see if it can make some side income: An Autonomous Text-to-JSON Data Cleaner.

What it solves:
Startups get slammed with messy, unorganized emails or DMs (like: "yo my name is ali change my address for order 12345 or im charging back my 5000 pkr!!!").

Instead of hiring a human to read that, my API instantly structures that sloppy text into a clean JSON object with keys like customerName, intent, urgencyScore, and extractedNumbers.

The Tech:
It runs on Vercel as a Node.js serverless function and routes data through OpenRouter’s free tier. Total cost to keep it alive is $0/month. I hosted it on RapidAPI to handle user billing automatically.

Is posting this here a good validation step, and do you think developers or B2B founders would actually pay $10/month for a background cleaner like this?

There’s a free tier of 50 requests/month if you want to stress-test the schema compliance. Appreciate any brutal feedback!

And yess I created same post on r/microsaas

Ai rush

I built a web app that lets you access multiple AI models with built-in web search and deep thinking capabilities. By running these processes locally on my PC, even older models in the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) section become roughly 10x smarter with real-time accuracy. I am 16 years old and actively upgrading the platform to make it even better. The tool is 100% free to use, though donations are highly appreciated to help cover development costs. https://cst-ai.vercel.app/
