SS Recon Platoon

So far, only taken pictures of 1. But super enjoyable to paint and technically my first mini(s) ever fully painted, flocked and everything. I did a mix of both PeaDot and Autumn Oakleaf. Not necessarily historical for Normandy but still awesome nonetheless.

Tropic Lightning and Fate of a nation

I understand both TL and FoN are for V3 rules and have been re-released for V4. But has anyone played either of these and are they good? I have both in my collection and im wanting to know if they play well? I'd like to try them and work it out to see if I enjoy them enough to upgrade to the newer V4 ruleset versions of these. Is it worth even trying or just a paperweight? Also are the newer cards able to be used here? I know there isn't as many formations in the older books but would they keep the same stats as the old books? Thanks.

Team Yankee list questions.

I'm sure most of you all had seen my previous post of me getting into 6mm Team Yankee. While I love Oil War I wanted to start out with the basics. In the hardback Rulebook it shows a generic list for US and Soviet, based off the Novel Team Yankee and the 21st Armored Division "Winner takes all" It also has several missions based off of specific points in the Novel. I'm playing in 6mm so obviously no tournaments or nothing, just casual play. Are these two decently fair and okay lists? I'm not new to the hobby or the game, more so the scale. I tried to make it somewhat fair, the points would be 120 points max. Thank you all for your time and help, have a good rest of your day/night. Cheers.

6mm TY

After several years of owning the original TY starter, the hardback rulebook and a year of Flames of War under my belt, I decided to bite the bullet and get into 6mm Team Yankee.

6mm Star Wars Wargaming.

Hey all I've been figuring out a summer project and I've decided on getting into 6mm Star Wars the Clone Wars, from Wakes Emporium. Now I'm trying to figure out a game system to play. I'd prefer them to be multiple on a base at a time. sorta like Flames of war or Epic 40k. I don't wanna use them as proxies for games like that I'd much rather have them be in a game system more meant for something like this. the only game I'm counting out is Star Wars Legion, and just about any skirmish game. Thanks all for your help and your time. I hope everyone has a good rest of their Day/Night

My digital solider doesn't have an entire roll of neon blue duck tape but uses a dot instead, how dare D(ICE) try to deport my realism! Curse you D(ICE)

Finally got around with painting up one out of 4! Of my Blood Angel Contempter dreads. One of my favorite peices I've painted. My Eldar and terrain have all arrived now just waiting for my SM vehicles.

Pic in the front is a very poor photoshop attempt by yours truly. Looks like Armageddon though so its rad!

Does anyone here print or know sites that print Tyranids and Necrons? I live in the US but don't mind paying the extra money for out of country shipping and tarrifs. Thank you all.

Finally played a 1300 point game. My real first game. My 2nd company Captain Typhrus courageously led his battle courageously into a Chaos Cultists held Imperium planet. I used Epic Armageddon rules with Space marines Vs. Imperial guard to try out the Cultists feel. The lists came up to around 1300 points and wow all I can say is what a blood bath. Almost the entirety of 2nd company was wiped out, along with Apothecary Brother Sinius, R.I.P. but an Imperium victory, forcing the remaining forces to retreat in the warp. Final score Blood Angels VP: 6 Forces of Chaos VP: 3. I'm loving this ruleset I can't wait until my Vehicles, Buildings and Eldar get here. It'll be great. In the pictures above the bases with FoW minatures are proxies for Imperial guard infantry, along with Panzer 4s for Baneblades. I had a blast! Thank you all for your time, have a wonderful rest of your Day or Night. Cheers

Did a nice quick and simple game with my almost complete blood angels. I split up my battle company into 3 bases of Tactical, Devastators, and Assault marines for both sides. Along with an Hq for both sides and a dreadnought platoon with 2 dreadnoughts on each side instead of 4. The objective was to either A: hold the objective in the center of the giant cathedral or outscore the opponents in VP. My Blood Angels Lord Typhrus was able to outwit his opponent in the last round against the companies apothecary brother Sinius. My head lore here is that the battle company was running a training day of a Red Vs Blue. Trying to gain strategy on the up and coming Aeldari threat. It was super fun, I had a blast! (No pun intended with those blast markers) I played Epic 3rd edition or Epic Armageddon. I think the rules are simple enough for me but not so simple it's a board game. Reminds me of a sort of Beer and Pretzel games like Flames of war and Team Yankee. Which I also adore. I really look forward to finishing the battle company and my Eldar when it gets here. Thank you for your time have a wonderful night!
