A few questions that I'm just going to jump into.

Not sure if this is the best subreddit but to the Navy CTI's, or anyone who can answer;

What are the NEC's for a CTI?

What exactly does training for a NEC look like?

What are some of the more desireable NEC's for both the enlisted and for command? (I.e. ones that are easy and ones that will get you promoted.)

Do NEC's give you college credits?

What are some of the genuinely cool NEC's?

Are there any NEC's related to fields outside of the millitary? (Specifically for English Literature, Journalism, Writing in general, etc...)

And what are some of the less talked about sides of the field? I know desk job in a room more secured than a nun's britches is something happens but what aside from that?

Context: I'm Male, 21, ~190, 5'10" and do 20 pushups, 1 minute plank, as well as a brisk 30-45 minute walk for 6 days of the weak. I'm planning on adding 10 pushups and 10 seconds after every rest day, as well as a 10 minute run.

I just don't know what a deficit would look like for me. All the websites and apps require a lightly, moderately, highly, etc... to give me that but I don't even know what that qualifies as.

I'm looking to join the Navy as a CTI though I have concerns I'll be ineligible.

Initially looked towards the NavyNuclear program but learned that I was missing an algebra course.

I want to make sure there are no classes that I'd need to take before I could even join.

Would I need to take a math course still? Would I need to take some sort of english course?

ASVAB scores were an overal 97 with exact scores as follows;

GS:70 AR:63 PC:68 MK:62 EI:54 AS:52 MC:64 AO:66 VE:69

Probably not useful but may as well.

So apparently the Germans (n*zi) made a rifled flare gun that could shoot grenades.

Anyone feel like making both a way to make "modified grenades" and attachments to the flare gun? Something super similar to how the Thirst Zapper works but with grenade variants instead of nuka cola?

Animations for putting them barrel first and making custom models for the modified grenades would make it not easy.

Either way it could have been a cool way for Bethesda to add a pistol sized grenade launcher.

Hoepfully the next game has ammo variants so it can be made super easily.

I am looking for anything I can do to prepare for the DLAB test. I scored a 97 on the ASVAB/PiCAT, currently studying Robert J Cummings guide, and looking at grammar/syntax reviews.

Is their anything else I could do to prepare?

How should I prepare for the audio sections, specificlally the emphasis and tones?

Anything to watch out for like trick questions or simple mistakes?

Could I do anything to prepare the relevant centers of my brain?

I heard listening to podcasts or music in foreign languages can help "wake up" those parts of the brain, is that true?

If I do score well would it be a good idea to use say Babbel or Rossetta Stone to prepare for DLI?

Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

So I like to go into things with a good idea of what is going on.

Currently I am 21 and looking at Nuclear Specialist or CTI. The Nuclear Program is something I need to put additional effort into pursuing. Compared to CTI which I could enlist for now, assuming it is available.

I do not spend very much on anything, have no debts to pay off, and no vices or hobbys that cost money.

I am single, no children, and don't really care where I live.

I am not a very materialistic person, I could live with my entire life packed into a suitcase the entire time.

I plan to do everything I can to prepare myself for life out of the Navy, or even continuing it if I find it to be enjoyable.

As of now I am looking into the exact cost of living while enlisted, what I could do for more income, and particularly how to save as much money as possible.

I'm curious if investing the majority of my income into Navy specific resources or civilian resources would be a better idea.

How much should I expect to spend while on ship for meals, necessities, and other expenses I am unaware of?

If I do everything I possibly can to save and invest how much am I looking at towards the end of my career (4-6 years)?

Detailed advice and free/accessible resources for doing this are greatly appreciated.

So far I am seeing that I should invest as much as possible into my TSP, then C-Fund once that is maxed out.

My Roth IRA gets maxed out at 7,500 for I beleive the year.

So these cheaters are lagging the fucking server so hard I can't even run. I literally can't even strafe, look up, shoot, I do pretty much anything because they're doing whatever the fuck they're doing. Like Apex, ea, which ever cunt of a developer whose job it is to fix this shit. You literally can't even play the game 80% of the time. What the fuck are y'all doing because you seem to be just retarded and not fixing anything.

Every time y'all update the game some fucking way, some fucking how, these cheaters managed to completely break the game. The only thing that points to is the developer is being totally inept.

So I went to MEPS yesterday but unfortunately I had to leave. Since I am not at MEPS anymore I'm taking the time to go over some concerning information.

The Good.

I scored a 97 on my ASVAB and was looking at the nuclear program. I gave all my paperwork and transcripts to my recruiter about a week or two ago. I was told everything was looking ok and I'd more than likely qualify.

The Bad.

I smoked weed pretty consistently for the past year. I was told by my recruiter that it wasn't a big deal. Now I recieved other information that leads me to doubt my recruiters information.

I went to MEPS to confirm my PiCAT score, which I did, before I was taken to do a test for the Nuclear Program specifically. It was only there that I was made aware about a missing algebra course.

Huge red flag.

I was very hesitant going into MEPS because of the recency of using marajuana. Nearly everyone online and that I know was saying not to. I was trusting my recruiter more than them as I had no reason to doubt them.

The Ugly.

I left MEPS. It was before swearing in but I did sign in to the hotel where we'd stay the night before. I had other stuff happening that made me leave but I am using it as an oppurtunity to relook at things.

There was some sort of, either deliberate or unintentional, misinformation happening between me and my recruiter. Something so integral being missed or ignored gives me reason to question the veracity of all the information I've recieved.

Currently I am a few weeks sober from marajuana and plan to take a pharmacy drug test. If that comes out possitive then I'll tell my recruiter about wanting to hold off.

Many Algebra courses I've seen online are about 4-8 weeks long. Which happens to be the same time you need to guarantee a clean THC test.

It seems to me that the best option is to take the Algebra course while staying sober.

How should I breach this to my recruiter as I seem to be falling for their tactics.

Are there any accredited Algebra 1 courses that you'd reccomend?

How bad is leaving MEPS going to affect my future in the Nuclear Program and even Navy?

So how the fuck is it that I can play five fucking matches in a row where either both of my squadmates are are cheating or half the goddamn enemies are cheating. Litterally haven't played a single game in months where this was not the case. FUCKING MONTHS. MONTHS!

Heres something, they can also know exactly when and what you reported them for the moment they are reported. Fucking cheaters on my squad overloaded my game after I reported them for cheating. Three godamn times. To the point where the game was closed by Xbox mechanical failure safegaurds.

How do I know this? Well the bitches are litterally bragging about it in voice chat and even said it in text chat. "Damn, he's back. Do it again." The other bitch stopped moving and then ten seconds later my console is so fucking loud my dog started barking.

So furst game in and litterally the entire enemey team is cheating. They have their cheats in the player name and you litterally see them 360-ing, snapping, litterally no recoil, hard tracking mf's heads through wall, doing a random 180 from halfway across the map to get a pixel perfect shot.

Fuck apex, do your godamn jobs and make it so your first fucking game on in five days isn't so packed with cheaters you feel like you got twenty STDs just from playing.

So I am really worried that I didn't do that well. I have not studied for pretty much anything in years and I was pretty lost on many of those.

How does this look? The "standard scores" are so low but the other ones appear to be high.

What exactly are the differences between the two and how would I need to improve to pursue a path as a Hospital Corspman and fileds that would apply to Medical Degree pursuing individuals?

Yeah, full on cheaters who litterally haven't stopped lookibg at people through walls. They lock onto someone right after the kill cam and don't leave their body until either the target or they themelf die. Full squad again. You should not get an "abondoned match penalty" if half your team is afk/gone. Espescially when the bastards are cheating so hard you can't even fight them unless your entire team dogpiles them.

First three games on and there are def at least two different people on two different squads cheating. Litterally why? If the game assumes they are just good players then I shouldn't be in the lonby with them. I just deranked to silver and it my first goddamn game on.

And get this, one of the MFs is a guy who just constantly makes a new account! MF uses "Legend" with some random numbers and anonymous mode. I see the bitch like thrice a week and each time he is hard cheating. Like his crosshairs never leave someone's body even through walls. Like he can pre-aim and pre-fire perfectly twenty times in a match.

IDK how illegal this is but its litterally the same IP adress each time. Could they not just IP band the bitch? How tf is it that difficult to not have every match be filled with cheaters?

So, what if like all the greek philosiphers were just hella autistic.

Cuz like a bunch of the stories about them would make perfect sense if they were just high functioning or something.

Many of them it seems like they may not even be high functioning.
