I am building a banquette and will use plywood for the face and lid. Aesthetics of a plywood edge aren't a big deal but I do not want any swelling from humidity. Will several coats of the sherwin ute urethane enamel paint effectively seal the edges or should I use edge banding?
They need to removable also. Thank you anyone that can help.
Will be painting some plywood projects and would rather not need to prime with shellac if i can avoid it. Are there any plywoods that won't tannin bleed through standard primer? Thanks
Thought about using cabinet grade plywood but not sure I'll be happy with the outcome of the edging whether I paint it or use edge banding.... Is there a solid wood option that's ready to paint and can be picked up at lowes or hd? Thanks
I am in need of a solid standalone without much configurating. I loved my ax86u, very reliable with good range. I would purchase another one but can only find used .. I'm considering a be88u. Anyone use both of these and care to give a little feedback? Thanks
I'm using verizon cr1000a and have to factory reset it any time I need to access the UI. It's been good otherwise but that seems to be a common issue. Going to replace it.

I don't want wifi 7, or anything tp link. I don't use any smart features like band steering. I'm all about reliability, cpu speed and range. My current router covers our whole apartment adequately, so I wouldn't want any step down in range.

I used to have an asus rtax86u but sadly it did not follow us to our current home and they are sold out. Would you take your chances on an ebay seller and just flash new firmware on it, or look at other models? I would consider asus wifi 7, but they seem to suffer from overheating and disconnection issues.

Have some new lg dual inverter smart units. We run ours at bedtime as it's hot but some nights have a big temp drop to the low 60s. I'm not awake to shut them off and open the windows, and they cycle on occasionally to maintain target temp. Am I asking for compressor damage? Thanks
I have a young niece receiving survivor benefits who now seems eligible for ssdi due to a learning disability. The survivor benefit would cease. If she was to later improve and lose the ssdi, is the survivor benefit easier to convert back to? Apparently, it was quite a lengthy hassle. Thanks
Edit: ssi, not ssdi and she's a minor receiving survivor for diseased father. She's recently been diagnosed with a learning disability and received a letter from Centauri mentioning ssi eligibility.
My addon widgets have been gradually slowing down, sometimes taking 20 seconds on my nvidia shield. Found out deleting watch history helped big time. They load in under 5 seconds again. Hiding them will also help.
After six years of daily heavy use, my 2019 pro is on it's last leg. It served me very well. Curious if there's any differences between it and a new pro? Were there any hardware or graphic upgrades at all?

I've recently installed several new lg dual inverter window units. The 8k and 12k units are running great! Love the app and ability to see power useage. The 10k unit however never shut off. Literally ran in low power mode constantly while the 8k and 12k occasionally shut off to give the fan breaks as desired.
What's also odd is power wise, the 10k unit specs out at a peak of 11 amps and the 12k unit at 10.8.
Maybe I just had a defective unit but posting this in case it is helpful to anyone.
I'm a huge fan of shield TV and have had every model but have never figured out why certain streams color is awful. Skin will look very yellow or orange. It doesn't happen on other streaming devices on the same tv set (fire cube, ps5).
I've tweaked so many settings and it will still happen at times.
Any ideas?
