Does baking in very warm temperature require me to reduce yeast usage?

I live in a tropical are with a very warm summer 50°C/122f and I got into baking in the winter with moderate success. But now with the heat it is almost impossible to follow recipes that call for yeast. The overproofing happens super fast.

I'm wondering if I should just be moving faster, or if I need to use a much smaller amount.

It has been also pretty much impossible to make a sourdough starter that doesn't get moldy, likely due to mold spores already in the flour, because I've sterilized everything, and no one I know IRL has a starter.

Should I reduce the yeast amount until the times match the recipes?

Medieval or medieval fantasy themed colony management games.

Games where you manage a settlement with in depth building and colonist management, and a side of exploration or dungeon crawling where you pick a team to get resources and fight enemies.

I've liked rimworld, and there are medieval mods, but I would really much rather be going out to fight, rather than the fight coming to me and having to rebuild constantly. The expenditions aren't worth it either, you are risking your entire colony by moving your elite forces around the map, and they hardly achieve anything. I don't mind defending my base, I just would rather the gameplay loop involve more exploration or dungeon crawling, or maybe tower climbing.

A game that seems very close is fallout shelter, and I did like it, but modern post-apocalyptic isn't really the vibe I enjoy most. If it either had magic, or bows and swords I'd like it a lot more.

Other games I've enjoyed are darkest dungeon, and it does have in-depth adventurer management, but not for the rest of the people, and the base building is very limited as well.

Kenshi has similar problems to rimworld. Grim dawn is a game I loved in terms of combat, but the only things you can build are bridges, and there's minimal interaction options with the NPCs.

A 6 hour 5k ultra is much harder than an under 4 hour 5k ultra

The 5k ultra is not just a race, it's the maximum expression of style and athleticism, and if you try to rush you're not only risking boneitis, but you're wasting an amazing opportunity to run with maximum style for 6 hours in the most challenging flat asphalt terrain that not even experienced alpinists and spelunkers would dare to face.

Besides it's impossible to run the 5K under 4 hours unless your shoes are doing the running for you.

Running for 6 hours is harder than running for 4 hours. If you think otherwise you're not a real runner, you're just a lowly sprinter with no respect for marathons.

AITAH for pretending to be oblivious to my grocer's flirtation attempts for as long as possible?

I(26F), go to a restaurant supply store where the owner(53M) gives me the wholesale price, despite my orders not meeting the amount needed.

He's someone my father used to buy from, but since my father lost his restaurant, we have been struggling, and he kept the price even if we only buy a fraction of what we used to. I've managed to land some relatively high paying jobs, but not to keep them, so I'm kind of forced to rely on him.

I used to always go shopping with my father, but since his health declined I've been going alone, and in my last two visits, I've been noticing him blatantly flirting.

He recently widowed, but if he's ever direct about it, I'm of course going to give a clear and concise rejection, and be as harsh as I need to if he doesn't relent.

However I'm tempted to just remain oblivious for as long as possible, because otherwise I might not be able to deal with the food costs.

I know it's an advantage not many have, but it still feels sort of like a gilded cage. Yes, if I didn't have this connection I'd struggle just the same as if I set clearer boundaries. But it feels irresponsible to set those boundaries when I know that I'm not the only one who will suffer the consequence.

I'm OK struggling, but I'd be happier without knowing I'd have it easier if I just didn't care about other people's feelings. That's why I'm tempted to at least postpone the struggle for as long as I can.

If you search for sushi on didi food, it gives you two chicken places, one pizzeria and a sex shop. And zero sushi places. There are at least 20 in my city.

SIngle word search, "sushi" and some of the results aren't even food lmao.

I've had no problems on the site before, with even larger mods, and the one successful download is also from nexusmods, which makes me believe it may have to do with the size. The 1.16gb download keeps stopping at around 80%. but sometimes it failed almost immediately.

I've also tried download managers and get similar error messages "connection closed" or "no internet" at similar 80% completion.

Today I had an accident that left me with several cuts that are basically mostly healed already, yet when I went to the doctor, mainly because I passed out after the accident and wanted to discard anything more serious. The doctor suggested that some of the wounds should be reopened and stitched to ensure they heal properly.

However, I can't get over the feeling that it was suggested merely for aesthetics, when I pressed about why, she just plainly restated "So they heal better." and I was feeling too tired to keep repeating myself.

So is this kind of procedure just for aesthetics, or is there actual merit to reopening wounds that have already closed so they "heal better".

Info online talks about wounds that healed partially or improperly, but mine are closed, and too thin to have any room to have healed improperly.

I'm a 26yo, female, 188cm(6'2"), 81kg (178lbs), currently taking captopril for high blood pressure.

I had an accident in the kitchen I don't remember entirely too well, that resulted in me waking up with a bunch of straight and long irregularly angled cuts on my arm in a small puddle of blood. I immediately washed the wounds and by that point the bleeding had stopped completely.

Still, I went to the doctor, who suggested stitching some of the wounds, which to me seems completely unnecessary because as far as I know that's only necessary if there is gaping, and this are so thin they might as well be papercuts, but since I don't know if maybe there's something I'm missing, I'd like a second opinion on these.

https://imgur.com/a/SMmqOqE Merely around half an hour after the accident, bleeding had stopped completely before intervention, the doctor suggested an intervention that would involve reopening some of the wounds to stitch them.

The most likely culprits to me seem to be either the edge of the table or a cheese grater, but I don't even know if I got wounded before or after passing out. Although doctor indicated I probably passed out due to blood loss.
