This might be a small nitpick, but I feel like this completely ruins custom profiles. Anyone else feel the same?

Hi r/iPod!

As some of you may know, a year ago I released iCopy, a iPod music manager and utility that allows you to rip your music, voice memos, and photos, right off your old Apple iPod.

I’m pleased to announce that after some hard work, I have an official website for the project, and I am back to maintaining and adding new features to the application!

iCopy is also updated for MacOS Golden Gate, to ensure everything works properly. Additionally, I’ll also be working on these new highly requested features this week, such as:

• iThumb support (not really priority, but I’ll try to work on it. iThumb files are just cached previews of images so the iPod can load the photos faster)
• Syncing music to the iPod
• Audio conversion
• iPod Touch support (may take a little while for this one)
• Faster load times when ripping large libraries
• Better preview player (with support for voice memos), and a photo previewer.
• Expanded file import customization, such as file name and how everything is sorted in the import folder
• Expanded macOS support, going past macOS Big Sur (if Swift permits)

And I’ll be fixing these reported bugs soon:

• Incorrect version in about menu
• Occasional glitch when switching tabs when importing music

This might be a good time to also add that if you encounter a bug with iCopy, feel free to file a report and I’ll add that to my to-do list.

And of course, the source code is all open sourced with the MIT license, so you can mod or review iCopy to your needs.

I’m pleased to announce that after some hard work, I have an official website for the project, and I am back to maintaining and adding new features to the application 🎉

iCopy was unfortunately down for the past couple of weeks, but I have resolved the issue with the website by moving the code base and download links independently with the new website.

Additionally, the application is now updated for the new MacOS Golden Gate that released on dev beta in June.
