How to write when you work all the time?

So last year my job was pretty decent in hours, but now Im working four 12 hour days in a row. At night I'm exhausted due to both the work and heat and by the time the weekend rolls around, I gotta catch up on housework and try to recover before doing it all over. Essentially i can't find any time to write because i stay whipped. I've tried writing after work but my brain says derrrrrr and I go to bed. What are some strategies y'all have.

Is there a trope where someone craves adventure only to go through one and regret it?

So say take a kid who grew up on reading about war and watching war movies and thinks it's awesome. Says I'm gonna go enlist and go fight, only to find it isn't as glamorous as its made out to be?

Which mower would you recommend to me?

Come winter time, I want to get a new mower. The one I have works fine there's just drama going on with it (family drama over a mower crazy right). I have ruled out zero turns because my yard is so small its just unnecessary. I have to cut about one acre with trees and all around, so I'd like one that wouldn't bat an eye over a small branch that came off a tree (nothing crazy). There's also several hills. I'm probably going to say a 42 to 48 inch deck. And with those trees I need one that takes a leaf catcher for the fall. Thanks yall

Can this be used as a belt kit?

Im looking at a LBE kit. I know people aren't crazy about condor but ive had this rig for a while and always thought of it as a chest rig, but looking at how the eagle and black hawk lbes are set up, it made me think it could be turned into a belt kit with the chest panel removed

My job is pretty much my life at this point and my fiance is getting what's barely left

So I'm fairly sure I am suffering from burnout. I work four, twelve hour shifts straight. When I come home, I'm with my fiance maybe three hours? The rest of the time I'm asleep. It's worse on night shift. At most I see her an hour or two. On top of that, I hate my job. She told me that I've been an ass the past month and that caught my attention. She said I come home mad or upset, I complain, and on my days off I'm really only myself one day because I recover friday from the heat and run trying to do what chores I need to do and Sunday I'm dreading it. She also told me I've been short tempered lately when it used to take a lot to make me mad. I've tried leaving work at work, but I'm struggling to do that and enjoy life because I barely have time to. Does anyone have advice? She doesn't deserve to have any of that thrown at her and I want to be me again and enjoy life without dreading going to my job.

I've applied to multiple places and either get no response or a instant rejection and that's been frustrating and not helping.

I'm struggling with just sheer burnout from work and I don't know what to do

I work in manufacturing for a company that was once great to work for but now it isn't. The pay and benefits are great, but we are now working 4, twelve hour days straight. They are making new rules that affect production but no one else because we're the only ones that work 12s. My supervisor is rude and rides my ass. I'm worried about making mistakes on top of planning for a wedding. I come home and see my fiance for three hours before going to sleep. Wake up and do it over before trying to cram in house work over the weekend. I struggle to find time for myself and I often bring home work stress and anger that my fiance sees and yesterday got told I've been harsh and an ass in few words the last month. She doesn't deserve getting the sloppy, angry seconds from work. I've tried to say I'm gonna leave it at the door, but I struggle. Stuff sticks in my mind over an unfair rule put down, my supe saying something to me, or a mistake I've made. Is there any advice y'all have for this?

Did I just get hit by a friggin cheater?

Logged in on an official server as I usually do because I don't have the patience to mod anymore. As soon I did, my character just started dropping shit. My DMR? Bye. AK74? Adios. Plate carrier, pack, even my clothes. Then, they just disappeared. Gone. Poof! I'm fucking livid and I'm ready to toss the game into the delete file.

Is Load Bearing Equipment better than a Chest Rig in terms of back and hip fatigue/aches?

Part of me thinks LBE's are great for modern minuteman applications where you are more or less without logistical support. I've worn all three both in military and my short stint law enforcement and for the longest time prefer a chest rig because they're so comfy and I can scoot or throw it over a carrier, plus I live in the wonderful south where it's currently 110. My time in LEO brings up the question: LBE's weight seems to be on the hips correct, as is a LEO duty belt. I can tell you that my fully weighted duty belt hurt my back a lot and had me wishing we could just switch to the outer carriers. Now it's been a while that I've worn an LBE (Alice Gear) and that was only in basic and exercises, but wouldn't LBE cause the same problem? Or is it because it has suspenders it helps with that?

Of these trades, which has a better future projection and pay?

I'm considering going back to school and there is a program nearby for accelerated training for trades in defense manufacturing. They offer five tracks: Welding, Non-Destructive Testing, Quality Control Tech, Additive Manufacturing, and CNC. Personally, I've got experience in welding from the past and have thought about that, but I have back problems and my best friend is a welder and has started developing breathing problems. I have thought CNC seemed interesting as have NDT.

What tires are y'all running?

When I bought my truck a few months back, it had some BF Goodrich Off-road tires on it and I really was not impressed with them. I mean I was flat out disappointed. I had to drive to work post snowstorm and they did not grip well at all. Then I took it out on the Outer Banks where I had I was slipping and sliding all over the sand despite have deflated, being in 4WD High and I see guys in Jeeps and Toyota's, Chevys, all flying like its nothing. So I'm looking at new tires. In the past I've run Coopers, Pirelli, and Toyos on my cars and SUV. I'd love some Falken's but I am not willing or able to throw that amount of money at tires at the moment.

How often do y'all take company reviews seriously?

Part of me has said they're a pretty decent thing to look at and know what you're getting into, another part said it could be someone in the company making it sound better than it is or a disgruntled former employee trying to make it sound bad.

This Job Market Sucks!

So I'm hunting for a new job because my other is wearing me down to my core. I had one break to scarf down food in a 12 hour shift yesterday; things went wrong, my boss felt I was incompetent even though when it came down to it, the systems messing up was beyond my control. I have slept all day to just get up and do it again. Our managers do not appreciate us. They keep making things stricter such as attendance policies (we now get points for calling out sick regardless of a doctors note) and have three 'free' doctor's appointments in the year but have to be scheduled far in advance and can be cancelled by our supe's and can't run over four hours. I constantly get told that I should know things that my trainer tells me I don't need to know because that is beyond our skillset. It's wearing me down to my core and my fiance is urging me to find a new job because this one is draining me to where I am not me.

So I'm looking for a new job. Problem is every job I am qualified for, I have been rejected and I feel it's because of them using AI. Sometimes I've been rejected within a day. The only other jobs pay far below of what I make or I am grossly underqualified for. It feels hopeless at this point that I'll find something better. I just feel like the system is rigged to make someone's life easier and another's harder.

Would say chest rigs are fading out for LBE or is it just the new fad?

So I've always preferred the chest rig over something like a plate carrier because where I live it is hot and humid during the summer. But with that said, chest rigs do not really allow one to haul as much shit as easily. What do you get? An old school one would be six mags and two admin pouches? Or if its a micro even less? I see a whole lot more people it seems going towards H harness load bearing gear due to the smersh and all that being used in Ukraine and its ease of use. I'm honestly considering that route just because it more equipment you can run and it is evenly distributed. But the next question is, is it honestly better or is it just a new fad.

The only experience I have with gear is my old airsoft days where I abused condor gear and then in my time in Air Force where I was issued Alice Gear and a early GWOT/90s era flak vest for exercises. (I was a mechanic).

Best Rit Dye color for a black backpack

As the title says, I have a black backpack from the Air Force days, because back in the day, that's all we were allowed to have (either that or sage green). I still got it and want to reuse it but as we all know, black doesn't blend in. Is it even possible to hit it with rit dye to lighten it up or should I start smacking it with some spray paint.
