This is from Getty images, but the whole thing looks a bit off to me:

• There's a light reflected in the window that I can't see in the room.
• His hands look off and his face is beetroot.
• The left-hand plant pot looks very strangely placed on top of a stack of... something
• It looks like there's a garbage bag or something in the bottom right corner
• I know there might be a perspective thing going on, but the glasses look massive
• Wedding ring is very far up on his finger

On the other hand, the reflected paintings are more-or-less correct.

Am I being too suspicious?

This place has been on the market apparently since 2019, although I only became aware of it last year.

Why hasn’t it sold? I can’t see anything wrong with it and the price is kind of average for the area.

It’s a good problem to have in many ways — now that the outside temperature is no longer equivalent to the surface of Venus and there’s a nice breeze I‘ve opened all the upstairs. Trying to keep all the doors open for the air to circulate is proving quite challenging though.

Seriously, I’m not used to seeing them until October, now I’ve seen three in the space of a week.

We know from early in the game that the scientist who became B-12 tried to upload himself into a robot body after his family died, but the upload didn't work. However, we see other sarcophogi scattered around during gameplay and I'm relatively sure B-12 mentions humans trying to upload themselves into robot bodies.

Could this be why the robots in the slums and midtown are so different from those in the control room, who are emotionless automatons? Whereas the robots we meet during the game have personalities, relationships – including parent/child relationships – and yearn for the outside?
