Is this a defect? New Ramones , leather kind of different on one shoe.

Brand new mainline ramones, leather seems to have lost grain here.

Whats going on with the leather here ? (Calf)

Brand new shoes, calf leather seems very Straight at one area, the grain is not visible. Cause for concern or just visual imperfection?

On picture 2 the leather still reacts when pressed on it.
