Started getting sick Wednesday.

Thursday really bad to the point of spinning out with Panadol and Sudafed temp was between 38.5 and 39. Wife had to give facewashers under arms and on forehead.

Friday Saturday- temp between 37.5 - 38, shivering non stop, joints aching so bad could barely walk, coughing almost non stop(dr gave me anti flu tablets Saturday, every time I coughed felt like spewing.)

Today aches mostly gone cough still there, shivering unpleasant but bearable, temp normal probably about 50 percent.

Appetite is non existent.

Seems more contagious than COVID entire family of 5 copped it I had it twice as bad - diabetes doesn’t help.

My office has been decimated.

I had covid twice and whilst no walk in the park this sucked twice as bad.

Worst winter for illness since the pandemic?

Look I get these places have costs, in a position where we have a beautiful staffy that gets plenty of attention during the night, she lives in my man cave and I spend 3-4 hours there a night, big backyard, walks every other week - family is busy.

5 years old, beautiful temperament, looking to get her a mate for company, been looking at rescue shelters, and $400 - $600 for a dog? That's pretty bloody crazy. Especially since as none already Campbelltown list themselves as no kill shelters.

As first line said I get they have costs but FML.

Would be happy if even a worker came and saw our place and met our existing dog, but damn that's a fair slog of cash when everyone has less and less $.

As questioned, there is a overgrown plot behind me full of weeds and nasty stuff so hard to keep on top of.

I recently did round up around my edges and hard to get to places plus most weeds, being its winter is it worth doing now or waiting til summer.

Lawn isn't terrible but as a perfectionist I like no weeds.

Got some yates weed and feed ready to go.

Type 2 diabetic, reckon I am odds on to go on insulin soon.

What costs am I looking at just normal medicare, and extras private health insurance.

Please, please start opening up your 9 self-service checkouts and not just having one register open.

I am not blaming the staff, honestly there only seems to be 2-3 people in the shop now, during lunch time and even after 5 during the week.

1 person will be working the register, with a line up a good of a good 6-8 customers at least.

1-2 poor other people trying to restock ect.

Not blaming the staff. You guys rock, but Aldi staff your stores properly, it's embarrassing compared to the big 2.

Diagnosed 15 years ago normally good for a year bad for 6 months, this time around I've been terrible for 3 years not monitered at all.

Drinking way to much daily, no dietary control and off meds.

Went to Optometrists for first time in 5 years and happily eyes in okay condition.

6"2 98kgs, so categorised as overweight.

Stopped drinking this week 2 days in, feelings suprisingly good, taking St Johns Wort no withdrawals.

Just brought Liver detox tabs and those other Licherin? Or something, been peeing heaps which is good.

Next will cut bad foods, than after that diet soft drinks – worse than normal ones apparently.

Slowly starting to exercise again.

Plan on getting healthy and staying healthy this time – 44 hoping to stop drinking altogether, don't need AA can go weeks / months fine but when I start I start.

After 4-6 weeks plan on going back to GP for proper testing for first time in said period and see what meds I need to go back on.

Any tips for people constantly falling off the wagon, I come from a family of big drinkers and poor health overall, so can't expect blood family health, and dont want to burden my immediate family with my issues. Thanks for listening.

I get they probably deal with crap but when you ask them how many people in front you’d think your asking for their PIN number, or directions to nearest x-ray place - don’t go there, and just the hostile looks mannerisms in general wtf.

QLD based, I have a 1 year old to my husband, and a 12 and 13 year old to ex partner I get child support from.

Husband is long term unemployed and just on job seeker.

Currently I am working 2 days a week as an office worker, and receive both FTB and rent assistance.

I am about to start receiving a yearly inheritance of $15k, and am thinking of withdrawing from my super as well as I believe I meet the criteria - husband has already been doing for a well.

Will either withdrawn super or a yearly inheritence over 10 years count as income when calculating my benefits and child support.

Here income is under half of mine so I already pay a decent amount - no complaints at all, want my kids looked after at both houses(50/50 custody.)

With her decision not to work and she won't look for another job with her new partner has a 10 month old boy and I strongly suspect she is trying for another.

Just how much extra am I looking at paying? Does any sort of centrelink count as taxable income or am I assuming she is counted as zero income.

Father to the new child is long term unemployed and hasn't worked for years and clearly will not.

Just trying to get an idea of what my future looks like as like everyone else am pretty much week to week as is.

I pay all weekend sports, social outings, as I have them from Thurs-Mon in Vic if that makes a difference.

Edit - I just did a couple of calculators my income @ $101k hers at $0 and looked to be a 25% increase, it didn't factor in her new child though?
