how many patients don’t realise that they are only seeing a general dentist and not someone who is specialised because it seems people only realise when the general dentist does a bad job and they go down the rabbit hole and see dentist are given the most leniency within the health sector as to what care they can carry out and provide.
an example of this is orthodontics, general dentist promote themselves as if they are specialist when in fact they are general dentist and do not really have any substantial qualifications in moving teeth and understanding the anatomy of the mouth and how it connects to more parts of your body which can effect your overall health. It’s not only orthodontics though because even crowns and implants can be done by general dentist even though they are not specialist!
only 1 dentist has ever said to me that they are not specialist, that they are only a general dentist with special interest and went further on to explain this, which I really respected because dentist don’t disclose this before offering treatments usually Which I think is a failure on their part since patients can’t truly offer consent if they don’t know.
you don’t typically go to the hospital and ask if the doctors qualified!

and you said Tangem would need to create new cards for the UXTO new address generation feature lol this shows you that you shouldn't listen to people who know nothing about tech 😂 … what reason do they have for hating Tangem now, all they can do is shout blind signing from the roof tops lol
how do you cope with the realisation that you picked a bad provider? which ultimately caused damaged to your teeth and left you with a worse outcome than your teeth prior to treatment.
I obtained my notes from the dentist and it’s amazing to see how much they lie or write defensively, apparently I was told this was shorterm orthodontics and would not change my bite or function and I should refer to specialist if I want! those words were never said to me and honestly if any dentist said those words they wouldn’t have any business lol I’ve realised I was completely was led astray but I still feel like it’s my fault.
I didn’t realise at the time I wasn’t dealing with a specialist and I guess that’s what happens when you don’t spend much time at the dentist or understand about checking their credentials because a lot of places are offering Orthodontics but they are not orthodontist or even trained to be moving teeth.
that said others have had bad experiences with orthodontist too so I guess this is the state of dentistry in general.
just kind of beating myself up about this because it’s been an awful experience and dentist can almost make you feel insane and that it’s your fault, I’m 7 months out of treatment and everyday is painful and awful! Im currently awaiting to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed which have erupted due to Invisalign which is causing further issues.
one things for sure I’m going to have to potentially look into more restoritive options due to the damage which may involve crowns etc but definitely once I’m over this pain, I won’t be rushing into another dentist chair unless it’s for extractions that’s for sure

After watching the testament dentist scene it came to my attention after speaking with my parent that Gas & Air was standard and dentist were prolific in dashing out unneeded mercury fillings to patients which most of the time included 32 teeth having fillings even though your teeth were healthy, my question to those from this ERA … did you ever stop to think that some of these dentist were possibly doing to same horrendous acts? especially after watching the testament.

anyone else experienced issues with Trez orders, I’m a bit annoyed that the dispatch company they chose, decided to leave the 📦 in a “safe location“ which I never consented to which resulted in my 📦 being jacked and now I’m requesting a refund from Trez they’re stalling, saying they need to await the dispatch companies investigation on the matter before proceeding further.
This is really annoying as Trez shouldn’t be sending out 📦 under 48 hour tracked! considering this is a cold wallet and cost £219, this should only be sent via the signed option to avoid these issues!
