I’ve submitted my OSAP application and received my grant and loan summary along with an estimated funding amount. I just need to pay the $250 college deposit. I wanted to ask: Will I receive the same amount that OSAP has estimated or can the amount change after my enrolment is confirmed?

Hi everyone, I filed my taxes through an accountant about 8 weeks ago, but I still haven’t received my cheque. My accountant said I should receive it in November. Should I call CRA to check the status, or should I just wait? Has anyone experienced this before? I live in Ontario

I'm planning to start the ECE Accelerated program in october, and I have a few questions about placements. If I start in October, would my placement begin in November? I'm also planning to visit my family in Europe for about a month in November, so I'm unsure whether I should start in October or wait until the November or January intake. Would it be manageable to keep up with assignments and online classes while I'm traveling? December is also a very busy month for me because I work part-time, so I'm wondering if starting in January would be a better option. Id really appreciate any guidance or advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation. Thank you!

Hello I applied to several programs through OCAS, but unfortunately I didn't get a spot because the programs became full. Fanshawe College told me I need to submit a new application and pay the OCAS application fee again. They also said they can't waive or transfer the fee because it's paid to OCAS, not the college. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Were you able to get the fee transferred or waived, or did you have to pay again? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’m planning to apply for the Early Childhood Education (ECE) accelerated 1-year online program at Fanshawe College, and I wanted to ask a few questions. After completing this diploma, will I be able to work in a kindergarten setting (such as with a school board), or is it mostly limited to daycare centres? Also, how easy is it to find a job after graduation? If anyone has completed this program especially online and is currently working in a kindergarten or school setting, I would really appreciate hearing about your experience. I’m choosing the online option because it’s more convenient for me otherwise, I would have considered Sheridan College. Thank you!
