My son (8yo) has an iPad that we have fully “locked up” - he can only watch shows, play select games. He can’t download anything without permission, has no open internet access, etc. It is also attached to his own Apple ID which is handled under our “Family” account.

On the iPad - he can use the iMessage app (only recently found this out when he texted me randomly). I’d like to completely disable this feature, but can’t figure out how. The toggle to disable under Apps - Messages is greyed out and I can’t change it. I also see no way to change this in my Family app center.

Any tips on how to fix this? Feels like it should be much easier to do this but I can’t sort it out.

It's officially official as of a few hours ago that the state, city and county all are on the same page in terms of upgrading the Moda Center. Of course details remain to be seen, but that very well could mean ongoing renovations from 2027-2030 (when they have to be complete for the Final Four).

For all my STHs - we will need to renew our season tickets in a few weeks, but likely for the next several years we could be watching the Fire play at the Coliseum...for the same price as Moda.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I personally don't love it - but I love my seats and hate to give them up. Has anyone talked to their account manager about this?

I work as a solopreneur / consultant and am often working with anywhere from 2-4 clients at a time. I often have multiple emails / Google Workspace accounts due to this. I am constantly toggling between them - specifically when trying to login into other services (e.g. ChatGPT, news outlets, software tools) and having to approve access to my own accounts, etc. over and over all day. It's such a waste of time and means I always have to have a million windows open which is not good for my ADHD.

Is there ANYWAY to integrate Google Accounts into one window? Does this even make sense? I am going nuts.

I am receiving the Wegovy Pill this week for the first time and was wondering how discreet the pill packaging is. Does it have Hers logo and large or is it smaller like traditional pills being shipping from a mail order pharmacy? My neighbor has to pick it up for me and I’m hoping it’s discreet.

Hello! We are planning a short family getaway in early Feb. 2027. I am stuck between the Hotel Ziva, Grand Fiesta & Hacienda Del Mar and would love any help in pros/cons or direct feedback from families who have stayed at either recently. Here are a few things that are higher priority for us as a note:

• Good Food - It's pretty important to us that the food is good; doesn't need to be Michelin star by any means but we definitely want it to be on the higher end when it comes to AI and have good options / choices
• Fun for Kids - Our kids are 8 and 6 so we'd like it to have solid kid pools and activities (this is what has leaned me towards Ziva but curious thoughts on the others); we aren't 100% on doing kids club but good pools for them really important
• Good Pool: Mainly, I don't want to fight for my life when it comes to getting a chair so would love if the pools were managed well in that regard
• Comfy Accomodations: Running into a lot of challenges since everything seems to be 2 double beds, not 2 queen beds available. Spacious rooms with good bed / sofa bed
• Not TOO Big: Don't want to have to walk miles and miles to get around

It's been two weeks since my final interview with a major Fortune 100. All signs pointed to very positive I'd get an offer but it's been crickets since. I sent one follow up note last week (one week post interview) and heard nothing.

As of today, I have two other offers/contract requests and I need to make decisions on next steps in short order. The company I interviewed with is far and away my top choice. Do you think I should send ONE MORE follow up note and share that I have other offers but they remain my top choice and to request any update?

I recently went through a ton of interviews for a job at HQ and it's now gone totally radio silent for a few weeks after a really fast interview process. Is that standard? Anyone have any intel if they have a slow final stage process or are they generally just ghosting final candidates.

I completed my third round of interviews at a Fortune 100 company on Wed last week. Up until that point, the recruiter had been VERY quick to move me along - confirming I’d move to the next round on the same day of each interview.

Along the process, they asked me about my salary requirement three times - 2 of those to basically triple confirm the salary was what I was looking for and at one point the recruiter shared with me the full package details for additional context.

It’s now been three business days since I’ve heard anything. My last interviews went great I thought. Is this amount of time showing that I may not be getting an offer? Do the above points around a lot of transparent about package signal good odds they want to hire me?
