Upgraded my cold weather carry to this Springfield. pretty happy with it so far- other than the original optics plate needing extraterrestrial strength to remove with all the red loctite they used from the factory.

going nowhere, and doing it slow as hell

finally tracked one of these down. I couldn’t be happier, this thing is too much fun. Fit and finish is a lot nicer than I expected and have seen from recent Henry 22 levers. I initially had a red dot on it but it just didn’t feel right. This optic has a lot reticle and can kinda to it all now.

Finally got my hands on a bandit in 22. I’ve had these parts waiting ever since I heard they were coming out. I learned to shoot in a base model Henry 22 and this thing hits on every single nostalgia note. The fit is surprisingly nice and I really like the updates on the furniture. I’m 6’3” and it fits fine. Cheek weld is perfect height for my optics setup. I have a trijicon rmr sitting on top of this really cool mount I’ve been waiting to use for years, made by anvl (anr designs holsters) which is PERFECT in height, but also because it has built in backup cowitness sights- yes, it’s a very short sight radius, but it’s better than nothing which is exactly what this gun would have without it. It’s capped with a dead air mask supressor. It’s pure fun and legitimately makes a grown man giggle with every whisper quiet shot.
Thought yall would enjoy this build since they are fairly new.

Hey ya’ll, I just picked up this more obscure model single six. It was in a literal pile of used pistols at a lgs. It’s essentially a tiny vaquero, and the word new doesn’t appear on the stamp. It’s dated to 1995. I can’t believe how well it cleaned up, it hardly even has a drag line and is a super deep blue. If anyone has any more info on this little guy I would love to hear it!
Side note- check out the two tone hammer, it’s what caught my eye.

it’s been a while so I thought I’d share a few more that I’ve made over the past months for friends and family. the last on isn’t as cowboy, but I’d argue it’s still western, I was thinking old west bartender the entire time I was making it haha

Hey y’all, I just picked up this new vaquero at my lgs. The serial dates it at 2006, and I’m looking for any information about the engraving. I haven’t seen anything else like it in online searches. Some are close but not quite. I don’t think it’s factory but I’m fairly new to the single action game. Any insight would be appreciated!
