I have a theory that poniko was madotsuki's mother and that her(Poniko's) room was madotsuki's childhood house she lived in when she lived with her mother. If that was the case, then that would mean Madotsuki's mother was very dismissive of her daughter. Additionally, I think Madotsuki flicking the light switch was the real-life past equivalent of Madotsuki messing with something in her Mom's room just to get her attention. I also think poniko turning into Uboa was the real-life past equivalent of Madotsuki's mother snapping in a scary way Madotsuki had never seen before, and I think Uboa sending Mado to the white desert was a representation of Mado's mom giving her a time-out. Idk but what do you all think?
