How do I handle my hanger towards my ex?

Hi everyone! I am a 25-year-old girl.

7 months ago my boyfriend broke up with me because his mom didn't like me, as my uncle drinks and my great-grandmother (about 50-60 years ago) had several lovers.

I live in a small town and my ex's grandfather was the mayor, so his family thinks they belong to some sort of elite.

The problem is that they aren't perfect either: they don't speak with their maternal uncle, nor with their maternal uncle-in-law, and they have some troubled relatives.

Despite this, they perceive themselves as a respectable family.

His mom judged me terribly, saying that she felt sick at the thought of her son being with me.

Premise: we were together for about a year (plus 2 years of friendship), and she didn't have anything to say at first.

She started hating me when some of her son's friends graduated (my ex is behind on his exams, with 10 subjects left to pass, he is not happy to attend university, but he does it because he is "forced" by his parents).

-His father, moreover, told him that if he shouldn't manage to graduate and pass his exams, he will get him a recommendation.-

From that moment on I started to be hated: his sister stopped greeting me (even at the graduation party of one of these friends of my ex, during the conga line dance she didn't even put her hand on my shoulder as if I had some contagious disease).

His sister is a 27-year-old girl, behind on her exams for her bachelor's degree, who has never had a boyfriend (I think she hasn't even had her first kiss) and who has never worked a day in her life (I don't think there is anything wrong with not having had these experiences at 27, I am just specifying it to give an idea of her person).

Plus, my ex's mom is friends with the mom of my elementary school bully, with whom she spoke badly of me saying that I am not worth a dime…

Now I will talk about myself: I have always worked, I study at university and I have 3 subjects left to graduate, I help stray animals, I donate blood, I always try to be a good person.

I don't understand what I did to deserve this treatment…

It makes me furious to have given my time to my ex, to have trusted him, to have wasted years of my life after him. I hate him, I hate him. I don't know how to handle this anger.

I wish they suffered half as much as I suffered.

I had to do 6 months of psychotherapy to deal with this garbage.

Judged, labeled, excluded and rejected on the basis of nothing, by the family of a rat, ugly and useless.

How can I manage this uncontrollable anger?

I think I have never felt so much hate towards anyone in my whole life…

Ciao a tutti!

CW: Pet Loss

Hi everyone. I am just too sad.
I manage a cat colony near my grandparents' house, which has about 11 cats. I take care of everything: spaying (at least the ones I manage to catch. I do all of this privately with my own money, and I’m still a university student), flea treatments, deworming, food, and water. My grandparents help me out with the food.

The cats live outdoors because I don't have the financial means to build a shelter, but we live in the countryside, so there isn't much traffic.
About 15 days ago, I noticed that one of the female cats I care for wasn't doing very well, but it didn't look like an emergency. She just seemed a bit lethargic, but after having some water, she perked up. Just to be safe, I contacted the vet anyway to ask if we could bring her in for a checkup. But when I went back to catch her and take her to the clinic, she was gone.
I didn't see her for 10 days. I searched for her repeatedly, even at night… but nothing. I asked all the neighbors to let me know if they spotted her. About 5 days ago, a friend of my dad's told me he had seen her and that she actually looked better. Unfortunately, every time I went to check on the colony, she wasn't there.
Yesterday, my grandmother told me that the cat had died. She found her collapsed on the ground. She wasn't hit by a car. She was definitely sick, and I couldn't do anything to save her.

I own a drop-trap cage, and I went out so many times looking for her. I deeply regret not going back to search for her the very day after I noticed she was unwell, but as fate would have it, my indoor cat (Coco) decided to sneak out and went missing for two days. Because of that, I couldn't visit my grandparents' house for two days as I spent all my time searching for him.

Now I feel terribly guilty, and I've been crying since yesterday. I always try to help stray cats.

For a whole year, I went to visit her almost every single day because I wanted her to trust me, and I had finally succeeded: she would let me pet her and she would purr. I had even already scheduled her spay surgery.
I miss her so much. I feel so guilty, like I didn't do enough. I just hope I managed to make her feel loved during this past year.

I’m depressed, I don’t know what to do

I feel sad; everything seems stuck. I’m a 25 yo woman and I feel old… almost 26.

I’m studying, I have a few friends, but I can’t manage to be happy. I feel empty, depressed, I keep thinking about the worst possible scenario. I’m afraid of having a terrible future.

I don’t know how to manage to have a positive outlook on life.
