Urgent N9 Question Is it okay that all 3 of us squeezed our signatures into the single signature box?

Hey everyone, I need an urgent answer before midnight tonight (July 1st) so I can submit this on time.
My wife, my 19year old son, and I are all named on our lease. We are trying to submit an N9 form today to move out on August 31st.

The N9 form only has one signature line and one phone number box. Since all three of us are tenants, we squeezed all three of our signatures inside that single white signature box on the last page. In the name boxes above it, we spaced out our first and last names across the little grid boxes so they are all clearly there. We also put down one family phone number and dated it today, July 1st.

Will the LTB or our landlord reject this form because we crammed three signatures onto that one line, or is this completely fine for a joint tenancy? Do I need to print separate pages, or is what we did legal?
Please let me know ASAP so I can hand this in before the clock strikes 12! Thanks.

Can my landlord legally force his way in to clean my house? UPDATE: He just used a fake emergency to get in

Hey guys, I posted earlier about my landlord demanding to come tomorrow July 1st to clean our house. In the past, his "cleaning" meant opening our bedroom closets and moving our personal clothes, which was so invasive we had to call the police.

Well, things just got worse. Two hours after my post, he showed up at our door claiming there was an emergency "water leak under the bed." Because he said emergency, we let him in. But there was absolutely NO water leak anywhere. He just used it as a fake excuse to search every bedroom, look under our beds, and make us open our closets to check everything.

He still plans to come back tomorrow between 10 AM and 2 PM for his scheduled "cleaning and inspection."

What should I do tomorrow? Since he already searched the whole house today under a fake excuse, can I legally lock him out tomorrow and refuse entry? Please help.

Edit: Thank you everyone for all your help and advice!

Based on what everyone is saying, I am refusing entry today. I am keeping my doors locked and I will not let him in.

I also have plans now to file a T2 form with the LTB for the harassment and the illegal entry from yesterday. Thank you all again for helping me protect my family!

Can my landlord legally force his way in to clean my house?

Hey everyone, looking for some advice here. I am on a month-to-month lease in Ontario, covered under the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA).

My landlord just emailed me saying he is coming tomorrow (Canada Day, July 1st) between 10 AM and 2 PM to "inspect all rooms and do cleaning."

Here is the thing: he has done this before. He literally shows up with a bucket of soapy water, rags, and cleaning supplies, and starts scrubbing down every single room in our house. There is absolutely nothing in our lease or the Ontario Standard Lease that says he provides cleaning services. The house is not a hoarder house or a health hazard it’s just normal living.

I know landlords can enter for maintenance and repairs with 24 hours' notice, but is "routine cleaning" even a legal reason to enter?

Is this illegal, and do I have the right to refuse him entry tomorrow? What should I do if he shows up with his bucket and tries to use his key to get in anyway? Thanks in advance.

we are a family renting a private, whole 2 bedroom house with our own living room. It is not a basement apartment, and we do not share any space with the landlord or anyone else. We have exclusive possession of the whole place

Edit: To everyone saying just let him clean for free last time he came, he actually went inside our personal closets and started removing our clothes. The police were called because of it. The police told us he shouldn't be doing that and told us to file with the LTB, but it is a lot of process so we just let it go back then. That is why we don't want it to happen again tomorrow.

Another Update: He actually came to the house today, about 2 hours after my original post. He claimed it was an emergency and literally said there was a "water leak under the bed." Because he said emergency, he got inside and checked every single bedroom. He made us open the closets to check everything, and he checked the washrooms too. There was absolutely no water leak anywhere in our house. He only left because I didn't say anything to him. He completely used a fake emergency just to spy on our bedrooms.

Can he come tomorrow to inspect another day since he already did this today? Or should I just not let him in? What should I do tomorrow if he shows up?

Am I getting absolutely cooked paying $570 a month for Ontario car insurance

Hey everyone, looking for some advice from Ontario brokers or insurance experts.

My TD Auto Insurance policy is renewing on July 10th, and my household has had a rough year. I currently pay about $570 a month, but TD just called me because they are auditing my household for the renewal and want to adjust my rates.

Here is our situation from the past year:
Accident 1 (Son): My 19-year-old son had a 100% at fault reversing accident a few months ago while driving my car. And they will increase the premium for july 10

Accident 2 (Wife): My wife got into an at-fault accident while driving alone on a G1 learner's permit. She had her license suspended for a month, got two traffic tickets, and the serious charges were dropped, but the suspension and tickets are on her record. She is currently still a G1 driver trying to get her G2.
TD is forcing me to officially add my wife to the policy right now because she lives with us, even though she only has a G1.

My question is: If I shop around and try to switch from TD to another insurance company right now for my
July 10th renewal, is there any chance I can find a better rate? Or is $570 already the best I'm going to get for a household with this much recent risk?
Would love to hear from any Ontario brokers on how bad this record looks to other companies and what my best move is. Thanks.

I’ll literally shovel dirt, haul boxes, or wrangle animals just tell me where to volunteer in Guelph

I'm a high school student graduating soon and I really need to complete my volunteer hours before I'm done. Looking for recommendations for fun, hands-on places to volunteer in Guelph.

I'm into physical work things like farms, outdoor stuff, that kind of thing. Any places like that around Guelph that you'd recommend?

Should I finish my 1-year Millwright course in Ontario or move to Alberta and take a shorter course?

Hey everyone, I need some advice. I’m 19 years old and currently in Ontario. Me and my mom are planning to move to Edmonton, Alberta for a fresh start, and I’m trying to figure out the best path for my career as a millwright.

I have two options and I’m not sure which one makes more sense:

Option 1: Stay in Ontario, complete the 1-year Mechanical Techniques - Industrial Millwright program at Conestoga College (covers Levels 1 and 2 of the millwright apprenticeship), then move to Edmonton and look for work or an apprenticeship with the certificate.

Option 2: Move to Edmonton now, take the NAIT Millwright Fundamentals short course, and try to find work or an apprenticeship right away.

I have some hands on experience already and my goal is to balance getting working as soon as possible while also setting myself up for a good long term career as a millwright.

For those of you in the trades, especially in Alberta would employers in Edmonton take the Conestoga certificate seriously? Is it hard to find millwright work in Edmonton without a full apprenticeship?

I’m 18 and looking for work I’ve been applying for a while without any responses. While I don’t have much experience, I’ve worked as a machine operator and am forklift certified.

Could you please review my resume and let me know what needs improvement? I’d appreciate your honest feedback.

I’m also considering using this resume for a general machining scholarship, as I’ll be attending college for it in the fall. Is this sufficient for that purpose, or would a complete overhaul be necessary to appear more professional?
