Quitting cold turkey- trying to conceive 🤰

Does anyone have any experience with TTC and quitting a glp?

I’ve been on 5mg Tirz for about 2 years and doctor said it’s time to quit so we can go ahead with fertility treatment.

What mg did you stop cold turkey

For those of you who ended up quitting “cold turkey,” what MG were you taking before you stopped?

I have 2 last 5mg injections of TIRZ and then I’m out of meds. 🫤

Constipation 💩

Hey grads! I’m currently titrating down from tirz/reta, and am on my last 4 injections. I’ve noticed the further I get away from shot day, the more constipated I am. After I inject, it’s free flowing for a few days…

Anyone else? Tips? Thanks!

Anyone else doing this because they want a baby?

My husband and I desperately want a family, and now this is the only thing holding us back. I feel so guilty that it’s because of me 😭
We’re both 37, so time is a factor. Fortunately bloodwork shows I have healthy amount of eggs, just obviously that I do not ovulate.

Anyone else? I feel so alone…

Editing that I was on GLP1 and lost my period with weight loss, and never got it back. Since February 2025. I eat fully now and have regained over 20 lbs trying recovery. In recovery since April 2026.

Gonadotropins

I’m going to the fertility doctor today. I have already done 2 sets of blood lab work, HSG, ultrasound, and husband’s semen analysis. All came back “normal,” except for the hormones that signal ovulation.

I have hypothalamic amenorrhea which was a result of restrictive under eating disorder and too much exercise…and have been in recovery for 5 months now. My period has not returned yet.

Wondering if there’s anyone with any similar background that can share some insight on their journey?

Thank you 💛✨

What else to add to can of pineapple 🍍

I’ve heard of people doing just the can with its juice, but should I add anything to make it extra tasty? It’s for a deluxe pint 🍍

HSG ✅

Had the HSG procedure done this morning. It was a BREEZE. The entire thing took about a minute, and injecting the contrast took 30 seconds max, equal to 2 deep breaths.

Fortunately both of my tubes are unobstructed, which may have contributed to a mild, brief cramp.

I was SO fearful coming into it, I just wanted to share my experience. 💛

What do you consider as a “serving” when using deluxe pint?

How much of a deluxe pint do you eat in a sitting? (I’ve eaten the whole thing… not realizing that people have been talking about different, smaller sizes when they’ve eaten a whole one 😮‍💨)

Difference between lite and regular spins

As I understand it, the lite setting is used for when we make our “diet” creamis… almond milks, non fat yogurts, substitute sugars etc. and the regular spin when making full fat ones.

What do I do if it’s a bit of both ingredients, for example, whole milk with nonfat yogurt or cottage cheese?

Adding tirz for binging

Hi ladies, I’ve been on Reta for a while, 4mg and love it. I’m active and eat healthy MOST of the time!

I’ve recently had such a struggle with binging on sweets. I’m not constantly thinking about food which is a relief, but when it’s in front of me I feel like I have no control. (Ex: cookies at work today 😭)

I’ve added 5mg of tirz the last 2 weeks but don’t notice it helping.

Does anyone have any suggestions to help curb the intense urge to eat treats or unhealthy foods? The feeling inside me is so intense, it’s unhealthy and discouraging.

Drawbacks and challenges from Southern California

Hello! My dad and his spouse went to a conference for international living in March and fell in love with Panama… so much so, that they decided they want to relocate there from Orange County, California within the next year or so. I believe they are closing on a property in August, some condo in a high rise.

My dad is 77yo. He is a plastic surgeon and will be closing down his practice to make the move and “retire.”

I’m a little concerned that he was shown the best of the best in Panama and made his decision off that. He was saying the rainy season “isn’t bad,” and that it only rains for a few hours a day, leaving the rest of the day in sunshine. He said he really didn’t see a downside of relocating, other than being further away from his children…

Please share some of your honest experiences, I’d love any info about what has or still surprises you… whether it be about food, transportation, weather, money, activities etc.

Thank you!!

Reta to Tirz for food noise

Reta to tirz for food noise

How many mg of tirzepitide would be equal to 6mg Reta? I want to switch from Reta to tirz to curb the food noise.

Edit- to clarify, I am wanted to stop Reta entirely and switch to tirz, not stack the 2. I am at my goal weight, but still struggle with constant food noise.

I’ve titrated down from taking a high dose of retatrutide in the past month. 12mg a week now down to 4mg. Yes I’ve gained weight, and it’s about 8lbs, but I’m okay with it!

My libido seems to be coming back, which is so exciting to me! 🥳

I have $800 I’d like to invest. It would be my first time investing in anything other than retirement.

  1. Buy FZROX (Fidelity Zero Total

Market Index)

  1. Let it ride for 5-10 years

Does this make sense?

EDITING* I would be putting $100/month into it
