Let's hear some honesty

48M. I lurk around the marriage advice subs, and this one too because the issues couples go through fascinate me.

One very common denominator is we always hear from the person being deprived of sex and almost never from the person doing the depriving.

So, if you are the cause of a dead bedroom, let's hear why. Maybe others can learn from you. Anyone care to be completely candid about why you don't have sex with your partner?

I'm so tired of the whining

48M fucking ugly and fat middle aged man here.

Why the fuck do all you lonely incel 20's and 30's men here always assume you can't get a girl because you're fat, or bald, or ugly, or short, or poor.

I've read HUNDREDS of posts by you fuckers and not a single fucking one of you considers or mentions your personality. NOT FUCKING ONE OF YOU! NOT A SINGLE ONE!

You always assume it's some bullshit shallow reason that women reject you, and you know what? I think it's because every fucking one of YOU is shallow.

You literally cannot wrap your brain around the fact that you're probably as boring as a stump and THAT'S actually the reason women reject you.

Also, newsflash. Women, ALL WOMEN, can smell your bitterness, chauvinism, self-loathing, and resentment a fucking mile away. If you don't like you, why do you expect anyone else to?

Lastly, You probably do have the physique of a bean bag chair, so why the fuck do you think you deserve a perfect 10 woman? However, I've seen some ugly fucking dudes (me) land some pretty hot chicks, and you know how they do it? They're fucking hilarious, charming, kind, and most importantly non-toxic. There's quite a few women out there that don't emphasize looks if your personality shows them you have so much more to offer than just a pretty face.

Stop. Fucking. Whining.

Work on yourself. Not your fucking abs, or your hairline knucklehead. Your REAL fucking self.

Quit playing video games (a lot of women actually hate video game addicts), quit whacking off to anime, get off your ass and go outside and meet some people. Practice being fucking interesting.

P.s. I just KNOW I'm gonna get a whole lot of you that argue with me, and you know what? THAT'S PART OF YOUR PROBLEM! Shut yer yap and try and learn something for a change. You don't know shit. That's why you're single. It's time for some self reflection.

48yo married guy iso kayaking buddy

Yeah, so I haven't kayaked in about six years and I miss it, so I got another one. My wife is deathly afraid of the water so she will never go with me. I'm kindof a nerd. I love photography, shooting pool, playing guitar, mtg, video games, kayaking, hiking, biking, etc. I don't like being around the 420 stuff. I rarely drink. I'm a homeowner, responsible, all that stuff. Man, woman, doesn't matter to me. Just be around my age please. Maybe like plus or minus 5 years or so.

Edit: I'm also left leaning, atheist, decent (fuck MAGA)

I really don't understand Harleys

I don't understand the appeal of these motorcycles. If I try to make a fart sound with my mouth, that's what these bikes sound like. They rattle apart. They always look like they were built in the 50's. They are expensive. They are large, heavy, and slow compared to other motorcycles. I just don't get it. I can't think of a single redeeming quality to a Harley.

Americans spend almost 3 billion on fireworks annually.

We spend almost 3 billion on fireworks annually, a portion of which goes directly to the Chinese. In return, we get pollution, litter, and freaked out pets. Imagine if we put that money to some good use.

Half of all people drive like crap!

I see Americans in their 40s' 50's and 60's drive like absolute dogshit on a daily basis and it fucking baffles me. How can so many people practice something for so long and still suck so fucking badly at it?

Take braking for instance. Give me any target like a stop sign or intersection, and I will smoothly bring my car to a stop within a couple feet of that target every single time. It doesn't matter how fast I'm going. Every day I see drivers overshoot crosswalks, or stop two fucking car lengths away from a red light. Braking is not that hard so why can't half the people out there do it properly?

What about driving around in the dark with your headlights off? If I had a dollar for every knucklehead driving around when it's pitch black out with no fucking headlights on.

Don't get me started about people trying to merge onto the interstate going 35 fucking miles per hour.

Wtf is the matter with you people? Put your stupid phone down and pay attention to the road because you're driving like a fucking idiot!

Everyone has their person, so go find them!

I was scrolling through Facebook just now and came across this couple who both have a rare disease where they are covered almost head to toe with these wart-like bumps.

I feel really bad for them, but then also really happy because living with such a condition has most certainly drawn laughs, and gasps wherever they go, but even they found love in each other, which is such a wonderful thing!

However, It got me thinking about all of the hundreds and hundreds of people on Reddit and elsewhere who incessantly whine about how they can't find anyone to love them. If these two people can find each other, what's your excuse?

Judgy people

So, I had a really lousy day at work and the cherry on the cake of my day, consisted of some random guy yell a profanity at me on my drive home from work while I was driving the speed limit and minding my own business.

So I got on my local sub and posted "Friendly reminder: don't judge someone unless you know them" or something like that, and my post got completely blasted by people downvoting me, posting judgements, conjecture, and insults....

...all because of a message of "be kind to one another"

I guess I tried to remind people that what you say and do can have a detrimental impact on someone and you wouldn't even know it. You don't know them. You don't know what they are going through. Some people out there are having a hard time and are really fragile, so why not give a smile, or encouraging words, instead of judgment and insults. You never know if the person you are insulting is just one lousy comment away from snapping.

Is it really that hard to treat strangers with kindness, instead of derision? Does it cost you anything?
