RBC bank feed constantly breaking? XERO support is useless. HELP!

I cannot get my RBC bank feed to last more than a week before it breaks again and refuses to update. I have contacted support multiple times and they just keep giving me bandaids to get it going again. These barely last a matter of days before I get the runaround again.

Am I just expected to constantly pull my hair out with this overpriced program or has someone else found a fix?

Seriously starting to consider migrating to another program. Hows the Quickbooks experience?

Would you use vertical rebar in a monopoured frost wall?

Local building codes do not require vertical rebar if there is no cold joint between the footing and the wall. Would you do it anyways?

Wall will be backfilled to the green line

How do I get rid of section labels in drawing mode????

Its a pretty straightforward shape and would prefer to get rid of the A-A label. If I delete the label, it deletes the cross sectional view... Help?

Best ICF in British Columbia?

Recommendations on ICF suppliers?

Got quotes from Pacific, West Coast and Vancouver ICF since they seem to be big names in the game.

They all have a very different system thougu.

Trying to gather opinions from people who have used any of these or suggestions for other models.

The Nudura system with fastfoot seems pretty cool but they were the priciest of the 3

ICF vs Traditional with EPS Sheets

What would you do in my situation?

I have been given enough free 3/4 plywood to make up for all my forms + more. All I would need to buy are ties and bracing.

I was quoted about 3k for everything needed to do ICF including footing bags

If i poured traditionally and lined the frost walls with 1.5" EPS instead of ICF its only about 500$ worth of foam.

If im doing all the work myself, is there really any advantage to ICF?

Is the easiness really worth the extra couple thousand $$$?

With my 2x8 walls im not too concerned about the insulation value, I have plenty of R value to go around and its only a workshop. The coldest it gets around here is -20 and not very often.

Fair price for a 20x40 Shop Foundation?

I was just quoted $21000 for form, rebar, place and pour on an 800 sq ft detached shop Seemed kind of high? That doesn't include any dirtwork or site prep. Just concrete.

Looking for people who have built a shop (ideally in the okanagan) recently to compare.

Impulse sealer alternatives? Upgrade?

Currently using a basic impulse sealer from Uline to seal the poly bags that hold my small parts.

Its on its last legs and I figured now might be the time to upgrade to something faster and cooler.

What are my options? Ill be sealing poly bags anywhere from 2" to about 5" in quantities of hundreds at a time.

Rant: If the rental tenancy act was not so anti-homeowner, AirBNB wouldn't have ruined the market.

Maybe this is just my opinion, but why would anyone basically surrender their home to tenants if the laws do nothing but favor bad tenants?

They trash your place? Cant evict them.

They don't pay rent? Good luck getting rid of them

Inflation and mortgages skyrocket? Can't raise your rent

No shit people are going to consider short term rentals... Don't like someone? Gone they are.

Less risk, more money. Of course everyone would choose that..

Expected cost to get "tall walls" engineered?

Since the walls are over height, I am required to get them engineered. What should I be expecting this to cost?

Where should I add the Tariff cost? Im a Canadian seller shipping to the USA

I feel like option 3 is pretty crazy. Curious what you're all doing. I started with a tax line at checkout but am now trying to blend into product price.

Top Con vs Bosch Rotary Laser for a DIY shop build

Everyone says Top Con but I dont see where everyone is buying them for 600$

Im in Canada and a Bosch is about 600$ where a Top Con is closer to $1100. Is it really worth double the price if im just doing dirtwork and drainage?

Im not using it every day. Maybe once every couple of years

Added some fuel capacity to the ol Honda

Excited to try it out. According to Google I should get about 6 hours on a tank instead of the usual 2-3. Its a neat setup because you can also purchase multiple pickup tubes and switch out the fuel cans pretty quickly when theyre empty.

Meta SUCKS sometimes.. What alternatives are you using to survive in the lows.

Meta ads makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes. I sell extended run kits for generators and pressure washers.. Should I be looking into advertising elsewhere? Where? Google? Reddit? Tiktok?

Looking to scale up but Meta seems pretty volatile.

9$ Cost Per Result One Week.. 42$ The Next.. WTF?

The only thing I changed was raising the budget by 10% every couple of days. My ads aren't in the learning stage anymore and now they SUCK!?!?!?

What on earth do I do about this? Consider the creatives NFG and move on? Frequency is 1.3 to 1.4. Spending 42$ a day now...
