How do I get the game to render far distances? I have it set to max view distance, and I'm using a 5080 with a good processor, so it shouldn't be struggling to render.

How do I get the game to render far distances? I have it set to max view distance, and I'm using a 5080 with a good processor, so it shouldn't be struggling to render.

There's almost no difference between me selecting 700 view distance or 1500, and even if I bypass the 1500 limit and set it to 2500, or 3000, it still barely loads past this.

Edit: Playing single player - I have a 9800x3d CPU, which should be as good as it gets for this. I've tried using farseer and other distance mods but nothing seems to render. Even when I edit Farseer's settings, increase distance, etc, I don't notice any different with it on or off. Same with other similar mods such as Vintage Horizons.

What's a good nightblade second mastery that doesn't rely on auto attacks?

I want something that will be good at end game bossinga as well. Autoattacking seems boring to me, although I'm new to the game so I don't really know. Currently level 30 just as nightblade only right now. Recommend me fun pairings that will be good for bossing :)

What are the best nightblade + second mastery for late game bossing?

I've searched and found various old posts on this subject but the answers were all over the place. I'm currently a level 29 nightblade and I haven't picked my second mastery. I'm mostly interested in what second masteries will be viable for end game bossing.

Thank you!

Edit: Is Nightblade + arcanist viable for bossing?

I’ve had 2 MX master 2s stop working (only the pointer) in the past 2 weeks. Need help.

They’ve both been connected to the same laptop, the first one stopped working a couple weeks ago. The buttons and everything else works other than the pointer which is just dead.

Now today, a second one stopped working the moment I unplugged the charger. It’s at 90% battery but the pointer is once again dead, and even if I plug in the charger again the pointer will not move. I’ve reset the mouse, disconnected and reconnected Bluetooth, but nothing is working.

The only thing I can think of is the charger cable frying the mouse somehow as it stopped working the moment I unplugged it.

I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Which of these 2 prebuilt desktops are better?

I'm not extremely knowledgeable about all of this so I appreciate any advice. The Asus has a 5070ti but has a Ryzen 7 9800x3d, while the HP Omen has a 5080 but a i7 14700F. I get that the Ryzen is the better cpu, but I've also read that is most situations, the GPU matters a lot more and that you don't really need the best available CPU. I use a 49 inch ultrawide monitor that is 5120x1440, but I rarely intend to play full screen, so generally speaking I may use half of the monitor for gaming.

(I don't mind paying a little more for a name brand)

If there are other better deals anyone knows of for minimally a 5070ti/5080, please share! Thank you.

Can someone tell me if this is a good HP Omen 45L to buy for $2300?

I don't know too much about pcs but I want a 5070ti specifically. I see a lot of negative reviews about HP Omens online but I have no idea if I need to take them seriously or not. Thank you.

Why doesn’t clubwpt gold have lower stakes heads up tables below $1/2?

I’m not sure if there’s any specific reason for that.

Why don't tournament payout structures spread out the prizepool a little bit more evenly to not be extremely top heavy, for the sake of reducing variance and keeping the ecosystem a little bit healthier?

I'm sure this has been discussed a million times, and I know having huge payouts for winning or getting top 3 in a tournament makes the tournament more attractive in a way, but I feel like it should be a little bit more lucrative to get top 20 in a 1,000 player tournament for example rather than needing to get 5th place or higher.

Not to mention it's really hard to realize your EV unless you get very close to 1st place in tournaments occasionally.

I know there's no easy solution to this but even taking 25% of the final table money and spreading that around a little bit across pre final table payouts might be good.

Why does it seem like Phil Ivey is playing basic abc poker when I see him on No Limit Holdem streams?

For example in the $250k super high roller tournament which he’s in the final table, and other streams I’ve seen with him in recent years. He doesn’t seem to be making fancy moves or aggressive plays like the other high stakes tournament pros, he just seems like he’s trying to survive/hang on to his chips.

Edit: I'm exclusively talking about tournaments and WSOP tournament livestreams that he's occasionally featured on.

How does make-up work for pros playing the super high roller events?

I understand that the pros playing the $50k, 100k, 250k etc events are selling a lot/most of their buy in and charging a markup for it. But occasionally I hear that pros are in make-up, which I don't understand because I would assume the point of selling part of their buy-in is to avoid the variance, so I would also assume the people buying their action are taking the risk of variance.

How good are the best tournaments players in the world compared to the rest of the field in large field tounaments/wsop events?

I'm asking because I know that a ton of luck is involved and no matter how good you are you have to get extremely lucky to final table a large field tournament such as the main event with 10,000 players.

But at the same time, you have players like Michael Mizrachi who won the main event last year (yes a lot of lucky hands towards the event) and got 5th in 2010.

You have Kristen Foxen who won the $25K wsop bracelet a couple days ago with around 350 entries, and now Alex Foxen is 2nd in chips in a 3,300 player $600 buy in wsop tourney with only 11 players left. Not to mention Kristen Foxen reaching 12th in the main 2 years ago. But how much of that is literally just luck?

Yes I know Kristen winning the $25k tourney is a high roller with a lot more pros so I'm not talking about that one as much, but rather tourneys with thousands of players including many amateur/mid level players

How good can the best players in the world actually be vs other random great/good/decent unknown players
