People that leave you on read are rude (hear me out)

I've been going down a rabbit hole of reddit threads and when i search a similar title to what i just made. People make the excuse of "im too busy to respond" which is a stupid excuse. You wernt so busy that you couldnt unlock your phone and read the message inside the app to leave a "read" tick

I've been genuinley busy when people text me and i dont even look at my phone. if its important someone would call me. So all it tells me is that when someone leaves you on read is they're saying "i saw what you said, i dont care or respect you enough to reply"

But maybe thats just me, even with work emails if someone asks me a question and i dont have an answer right away. I wont ignore the email, id reply back saying something like " Hey XXX, i dont have an answer right now but i'll look into it and get back to you" Becuase i feel like thats how i want everyone else to behave also. Dont leave people in the lurch

How do you start over?

Recently just realised alot of my old friends have grown apart and we dont really talk anymore, even after i repeated to try and get everyone together to hang out. So what do you do at this point as a 30 year old bloke with no social life lmao

do children become level 1 when they come of age still?

Been playing campaign mode and the two kids you get given start at level 18 when they come of age. which fucking suckssssss because i cant build them how i want.

Is this the case with all children or is this just a campaign gimmick? i dont want to waste time waiting for children to grow up if they're going to be unbalanced useless sods. i'll just throw them at derthert for sacrifice

help me find an old game i use to player as a kid

It was a chinese city builder but it was more based around combat, it was simialt to Emperor rise of the three kingdoms and it had a similar name like "the three kingdoms"

You could hire "hero" units like generals and diplomats. Any soldiers you wanted to recruit you had to send a peasant to the barrack kind of like the stronghold games, you also had to make everything from scratch like weapons and armour i think.

It was essentially Stronghold 1/2 but in chinese three kingdoms form but i cant for the life of me find it

*EDIT* nevermind i found it it was this game

im kind of pleased but i will need to get the belt sander out because i did a very poor job blending and feathering it in with the old plaster. Mostly got it to a glass polish but i kept gauging areas with my trowel so i eventually had to stop and will probably also give it a once over with 250 or 280 grit paper to smooth it out in the rougher patches

I dont see me being a professional any time soon but it was a nice little DIY task atleast i know i can do somewhat of a decent job

Because i kept making gauges/drag lines with the trowel when i tried smoothing and wet trowling, is that a technique issue or caused by something else? the surface probably wasnt the most even, i can see why so many people prefer to skim plasterboard

Just to pee off all the Shauno haters, almost as bad as the ronnie glazers and haters

never met a more unlikable group than the people that rag on Shaun Murphy

I know most of you probably dont even lift but i thought id ask. What kind of depth do you prefer to squat to?

i've now switched to full on ass to grass squats and my weight has had to drop drastically for it but it actually feels better as i can get a bit of a bounce/stretch reflex out of the bottom now compared to a barely below parralel squat where my knees cry out

Been watching a bunch of plastering video guides by professional plasterers and they all seem to be able to polish it up nicely just with their trowel. I've done my first attempt so far and i did two coats, flattening between coats and additional smoothing out at the end but i dont seem to get no where near to a baby smooth finish that the pros do.

Can i get away with sanding it when its fully dried? or is that a big no no? I dont plan on becoming an expert just want to be able to do the odd bit of plastering at home when i need to
