Ostown at the 2012 E3

I was digging through my archives and I found the pictures of the Disney booth at the 2012 E3. This was the event where you could get free Oswald ears well before they ever showed up at DCA. Becky Cline from the Walt Disney Archives presented the history of Oswald, she joined Warren Spector introducing audiences to the story of Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. The archives, and Mr. Spector each brought items from their respective collections to share with visitors.

Noe's Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Collection

I've been a fan of Oswald since the late '70s / early '80s. My first Oswald item was a crib toy that I got in the late '90s. Been collecting on, and off ever since. I have some shirts, soft goods, pins, and books, but mainly I focus on plush figures. I'm especially a huge fan of the blue Oswald from Universal Studios Japan. None of this is for sale so please don't ask.

Draw skaters when you get an art block!

When in doubt draw more skaters, this time I threw in the Neversoft eyeball for the heck of it.

My skeleton skate art, and a tattoo commission

I was asked to design a tattoo by someone on Reddit that really liked my skeleton skate art. I'm adding it to this thread. I NEVER do art trades, requests, or commissions. This is because my art comes in bursts. I literally do not draw in my sketchbook for years at a time. This request sounded like something right up my ally so I couldn't resist. The idea was to create a variation of the old Fourstar / Crailtap logo but in the Vernon Courtlandt Johnson style. I hope you like it. If you decide to get it tattooed please ask for permission, and if you have a couple of bucks you'd like to throw my way I'd appreciate it.

My 3D Haunted Mansion illustrations

Years ago I had an idea for anaglyph illustrations for Disney attractions. Put on your red, and blue 3D glasses and check these scenes out from the Haunted Mansion. Maybe I should revisit the idea with other attractions.

My minvelo illustrations

Many years ago I did a bike study on my favorite BMX bikes. A good portion of them were the predecessors to the minivelo, which were called F-1 BMX bikes back in the '80s. The street racing sport never took off but the designs were revolutionary. Here are some of my favorite illustrations.

My He-Man illustrations

My favorite characters growing up were Ram Man, and Fisto. I'd never drawn them before but decided to fix that this year. Hope you like them!

My surfing illustrations

I do way more skateboarding art than surf art, but here are my best pieces. I even did a character study in the classic T&C Surf Design / Steve Nazar style (RIP). I hope you like these!

Some more skate art

I have a bunch of girl skate drawings, and downhill drawings in my sketchbook, but each time I try to post them on the thread they keep getting deleted. I had such a nice response to my skeleton skate art that I decided to share these as well. I hope you like them.

Sharing some old roller skating drawings

I don't draw as often as I like, and rarely do roller skating. However I do have some drawings I'm proud of, including a poster I created that was sold in Pigeon's Skate Shop in Long Beach.

My skeleton skate drawings

When I was a kid in the '80s I saw my first Powell Peralta skateboard. It was the Ripper Skull. The art by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson melted my brain. I've been drawing skeleton skaters ever since. Here are some of my best pieces. I hope you like them.

My Monster Truck illustrations

I've been a fan of monster trucks all my life. I have a soft spot for the old school builds. I don't draw too many monster trucks these days, but I liked the way these came out.

My BMX illustrations

Here's a bunch of my old BMX illustrations. I did dozens of these to stave off the crazies while I was working from home many years ago. They really helped me practice with shapes and colors. I hope you like them.

My NiGHTS into dreams... illustrations

NiGHTS into dreams... is my favorite game of all time. I rarely draw fan art because it has to be on model or I'm not going to be satisfied with it. Here are my best pieces, plus Ariem then NiGHTS coded character from Sonic Dream Team. Plus a pic of my collection minus the plushes.
