Heads up, this post discusses the topic using some credible rumors relating to the starters typings. If you see that as a spoiler, I commend you to turn back.

My personal gut feeling theory I genuinely feel is too "pokemon would do this" coded to pass up is the "Olympic Sports" theory I discovered, as too much of it lines up to being legitimately correspondent with how starters are made. Not to mention they all relatively work even with the type leaks/ rumor. Also because quite frankly, there's never been a gen thats had starters based on that specific regions mythology, with galar coming the most culturally specifically close lol.

Basically the starters theme will be olympic occupations.

Browt with its energy and focus on running around to get sunlight on its brow could become a runner. It could become a maleo and then a cassowary as they fit relatively well in design progression. Due to Decidueye's more animalistic biology and Quaquaval's more feminine human like look, i could see the final evolution taking on a more humanistic masculine direction while incorporating its cassowary eliments through its design. Grass/Ground feels like it perfectly fits an expert in running miles of land at a time. Its sprout brow could even become a sweat band that absorbs sweat and sunlight.

Pombon I have enormous confidence will become a feminine anthro cheerleader. To explain in better detail, Pombon has pom from pomeranian in it, but its 2 syllable pronunciation and physical fuzzy resemblance to a pom pom give a good lead. But the thing that does it for me is its emphasis on it's fire fueled lungs. Dog's bark. You know who shout bark-like commands during performance? Cheerleaders. The fact that pombon has early emphasis on its main organ used for producing air for voice lines up with it using fire fueled cheers in its final evolution. It becoming fire/fairy feels like a perfect match up for this themeing too. Cinderace was based around futbal, their irl regions main sport. Meowscarada was an IBERIAN lynx located right next to spain with the country's symbol in its base forms neck leaf with specifically Spanish spelling in its final evo name. Pombon could realistically become a New Guinea Singing dog in its final stage to strike home this theme. If you look up the species it even looks like a soft pure mystical fairy dog. Not to mention, the tone for its evolution would fit gamefreaks trend of making sure each starters final stages contrast the previous ones well, as they most likely dont wanna make something similar to skeledirge's animal heavy design. (And not counting delphox since its a fox; we have far less anthro dog designs in pokemon than we do animal like ones. We get natural dogs like every gen consistently, so this would be fune time to switch it up for a starter.)

Gecqua could become the ball tosser. Think about how it's a very pompous gecko. A route they cound take is the wealthy sportsy type, eventually becoming an expert and cocky water ball tosser, or modest if it goes in an opposite personality shift. The ball itself can be swung from their tail, as if you notice, it's dex puts heavy emphasis on its tsil that flings water balls. A possible hint towards this occupation, an occupation easily maneuvered by its water/psychic rumored type would could excellent it's tail ball at horrific speeds to launch a water ball attack the force of a bowling ball. I think i could actually see Gecqua shocking people abd ditching the feminine look it's first stage has as soon as it evolves to contrast pombon. I think to make itself more diversely different from inteleon it could be more of a heavy weight. Not muscular, but more animalistic in its reptilian themeing like sceptile.

I personally feel like these could be very plausible until im proven wrong by offical pokemon. But I feel like a bit point of contention towards these predictions and why I crafted them further with evidence is, and ive been downvoted in the past for this, but I feel like starter speculators need to think outside of the box. The reason starters are hated as soon as they're revealed is because they aren't what the majority wanted. But you need expect the unexpected with starters. They're so shocking because gamefreak takes more original unexpected turns for their lines than most fans do, and the sooner fans accept that, the sooner less people will be unhappy with what we get. Expect the unexpected and strive to be original with your predictions.

So thinking about the next pokemon series is a thing that's been on my mind ever since gen 10's announcements, right now we have no plan with wonder voyage and we're kinda just waiting to see what happens, with a decent amount of fear, from moot stating the bext series will be something that will "make a lot of older fans really happy" and the vagueness on whether that means nostalgia pandering or not has been a critical point of dread for me for a long while now, HOWEVER, under the current community there's been a big drop of info relating to the next mainline anime by moot in an audio stream that im shocked no ones brought up.

Around the 1:11:20 mark or around their, in an audio about kurwa a few weeks back discussing his whole deal as being a potential real proxy leaker for wiwa, when someone asked him i suppose about the next anime, he flat out, drops like an ice cream cone on a summer day that the next mainline series is going to be EXTREMELY Shonen, in his words "far more shonen than XY ever was". Thats a crazt f-in bombshell to drop nonchalantly like its nothing. This potentially means we might be getting pur first mature teen demographic anipoke series. Xyz was really shonen for pokemon standards, and horizons in retrospect feels way more like a fantasy adventure series rather than mature shonen. But I honestly really wanna know y'alls thoughts on this possible revelation knowing this guy's track record with anipoke info. Getting a full throttle teen demographic shonen pokemon series MORE SHONEN than XYZ starting gen 10 after horizons eventually ends.

So yeah, we just got a new vague cuphead game announcement, handrawn too! However ive had major speculation about what this bold new step for the franchise could intell. And while it seems like a jump, I do feel it could quite possibly be a realistic and even in-character move for the franchise.

While just getting more of the same will alwaus be welcome, I feel like a bold new step this possible sequal could take is moving up the animation history ladder. What if, with this new game, cuphead moves from primarily being based solely on rubberhouse 1930's animation, to being based and stylized after 1940's animation. Giving cuphead and mugman redesigns in tandem with how characters like mickey or bugs bunny got from the shift to more detailed squish and stretch animation, pear bodies, more detailed and "iconic" features of their own, with the game's style of animation and art direction being more on brand and fluid like the high quality disney or mgm animations of the time. Imagine bob clampett inspired bosses, imagine bosses thst take cues from later golden age disney animation, bosses and movement as snappy and breakneck as the golden age tom and Jerry cartoons that dominated that decade. They could even slide in some 50's inspired stuff like from chuck jones. I even feel like this type of nect level animation was teased/ tested with how classic disney villain-esc saltbaker was animated in his final battle. Cuphead was recently redesigned to look like a 90's segs Genesis mascot, so i feel that show's that they're comfortable with redesigning the cups.

Its a jump, but one that feels like something this studio could pull off to wow people in an unexpected way, and if this franchise were to evolve, this is the way I feel they could pull it off best. But hey, if this cuphead game is more of the same, thats alright with me.

Im a starter obsessed pokemon fan. I think speculating on starter pokemon evolutions is a really awesome time. Thanks to a follower of mine, I think i recently thought of a genuinely plausible route for this trio of starters to go down.

We all know starters have a theme, but I feel like too many people primarily focus on their motifs being directly based on the region they're in. But in reality, most trios are a self sustaining inspo circle with sparce themes to their culture, look at the alolan and paldean starters. So an off the wall theme that could unironically fit the trio are sports, specifically ones popular in the Olympics, a sport celebrated world wide. Despite indonesia not sporting the Olympics, it never stopped gamefreak from putting day of the dead and brazilian culture into Spain.

Here's the picture: Browt becomes a sprinter, its dex speaks about how energetic and clumsy it is, with a little more practice this chick (a chick who's just been characterized running on a plane) could evolve to become a dynamic Olympic sprinter.

Pombon becomes the cheerleader. Not only is pom in their name, but seeing that they're characterized as having a fire based organ in their lungs, used for yelling, an animal known for barking a lot and has a body part for it could very much grow to make those barks fire fueled verbal cheers to help it battle (and yes that means they'll be bipedal, I know its controversial, but its reality so most fans will just have to deal with it) and funnily enough that still checks my theory of pombon becoming the feminine one.

Lastly gecqua becomes a long ball tosser. Think about how long ball tosser swing balls attached to ropes they hold is similar to a gecko who is characterized as flinging balls of water from their own tail thats attached to them. They could very easily play with the wealthy pompous kid becoming and growing to become a rich sportsy ball thrower.
