Is Handling useful in this game?

When I see gameplay footage of Mario Kart World, I always see the massive tracks, meaning that you have a lot of wiggle room for Handling. Like unlike MK8DX, where the tracks are tighter, therefore you have more use out of the Handling stat since it determines both control and drifting.

But similar to MKWii, the tracks in that game are huge, so it doesn't seem like having high Handling is useful, since you have a lot of leeway for control.

But I haven't played Mario Kart World since I don't have a Nintendo Switch 2, so I can't test this myself.

So for anyone whose played Mario Kart World, do you consider the Handling stat to be useful?

I have a conspiracy theory about the MLP multiverse...

Yes, this doesn't just cover G4, this covers every past, present, and future generations of this brand. Here's my theory:

The entire multiverse of MLP is actually a giant omnipotent being that uses artificial "friendship" to keep its world loyal and that all of the "Magic of Friendship" powers are just the beings energy used to kill dissenters. And all of those who cave into its powers are brainwashed into being energy batteries that continuously feed it

Here's why:

Every notice in each generation, especially G4, how their entire world is obsessed with friendship? I'm not talking like friendship is just a part of the whole multiverse, I'm saying they make it their entire identity! In G4 for example, we have:

- Princess of Friendship

- Friendship Express

- Friendship retreats

- Every problem in the world? A friendship problem, obviously, because no other kind of problems could ever exist in a world!

- The f***ing SHOW is called Friendship is Magic!

- Beings whose entire existence is to spread "friendship" everywhere and are even bred to house their element!

- Fire of Friendship

- If you cut a pony, they will leak "Friendship Juice" (I made this one obviously, but if this actually happened in the show, it would not even surprise me)

- The School of Friendship! (True friendship comes naturally, it's not TAUGHT to you!)

- Tree of Harmony! The being that feeds off of these worlds literally planted its seed into the planet(s) to grow more of its power and infect its inhabitants. Actually with this in mind, when Chrysalis said that she watched friendship "infect her hive", I thought she might've been more right than she realized!

There are just times in these shows where it feels like the entire world is one giant cult, where they take one idea, and they crank it up to obsessive degrees, and it's just creepy!

To put it simply: the "magic" and the "friendship" in this multiverse are not real! The being that houses its power infects it own worlds with its own energy to not only turn their whole populations into worlds that feed itself, it also brainwashes inhabitants who cave into its power (like the Mane Six and those like them) to kill off any dissenters who don't cave into the status quo!

I call this: The Artificial Friendship Indoctrinating Multiverse Theory!

Want to know something weird regarding CrossWorlds and offline races?

You know how for some reason in offline races, you never, ever get any DLC characters, you'll always get the main cast?

Well what's weird is that DLC content does show up in races...in terms of vehicles. Yes, for some reason, the devs programmed offline races to where the AI racers can use DLC parts, but the AI racers themselves will never be DLC characters, even though DLC parts are fair game to them

Someone actually coded this feature into CrossWorlds and to this day, I don't know why

The Sorceress was nerfed from Spyro 3 to the Reignited Trilogy

On the one hand, the Sorceress is a little bit more accurate with her fireball attack and her three-energy ball attack that she lobs at Spyro can be dangerous if you don't avoid them.

However, in the Reignited Trilogy, she only has 10 HP, whereas in the original, she had 12 HP. Plus, her green shield attack is much slower and she seems far less aggressive than she was in the original. Plus unlike her original battle, when the Sorceress lobs balls of energy throughout the entire arena, some of them will hit the vehicles that are in the balloons above it, whereas in the original, they seem to just faze through them. Also when she does that attack, she seems to aim for a specific section of the arena versus actually spraying them throughout the whole arena.

Overall, Sorceress was nerfed heavily from the original, and she wants even a hard fight to begin with!

My Super Sonic Speed Acceleration Test results in CrossWorlds...

So people have already done acceleration tests on Sonic Speed, so I decided to test Acceleration on Super Sonic Speed (a mode that I don't think is used online).

Here is the link to my spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DzWT4eW-5LkuJNmbmXie0\_APABRqktdJwJ-AK3j-Vu4/edit?usp=drivesdk

Methodology: So to test Acceleration in this mode, I went to Roulette Road because the straightaway is long enough to get a good Acceleration time. I wait until just the moment when the speedometer in the bottom right corner shows up, then I hit the gas and once I get the max speed of the build, I pause the game and record the time. If I get a start boost, I restart the race. As seen on the spreadsheet, I went by intervals of 5 regarding the stat to keep the data simple.

I made sure to use the builds Theanjohas used in their Acceleration test for Sonic Speed, so every build in a machine type has the exact same top speed, just different acceleration, so shout-outs to them.

The good news is is that Acceleration is mostly accurate to the stat in the game unlike Sonic Speed, as on average, from best to worse: Speed < Power < Handling < Acceleration. The bad news? Boost for some reason has the highest on average acceleration with a 53.55, beating Acceleration types' 52.59. On an overall scale however, Acceleration still has the best acceleration, Boost comes in second, followed by Handling, Power, and Speed.

Any questions, please let me know

Hot take: Acceleration machines do have some things over Power machines...

Yes, Acceleration machines are seen as the worst Types in the game not because they're bad, but because Power machines do what they do better.

However, I feel confident in saying that Acceleration machines do have some things over Power machines:

- Slightly faster Speed (very small but still)

- Better Handling

- Better overall Acceleration (granted, you have to go past the 80 mark on the Acceleration stat to know that, but still)

- While they both have the Traction benefit, Acceleration machines' better Handling allows them to capitalize on that benefit better than Power machines

- Power machines lose top speed when drifting, Acceleration machines don't

- I don't remember who tested this, but apparently, Acceleration machines have the best Level 2 boosts, so while yes, Power machines can get to Level 2 faster, Acceleration machines Level 2 boosts are much stronger

I'm confident in believing this. I feel Acceleration machines aren't as weak as people claim, it's just not as obvious as Power machines' strengths over Acceleration machines.

If you think I'm wrong, or there's another thing I missed, please let me know

Hot take: I think the Power stat is more useless than the Acceleration stat

Yes, I know that the Acceleration stat is messed up in this game, but I think that the Power stat is just flat out useless.

- For one, it's been tested that there's no difference in hitstun between high and low Power.

- Two, having a weak Power stat isn't a big deal considering that I've seen videos where low Power vehicles just casually push aside higher Power vehicles like they're nothing, meaning that if Power is weight, then that too has been f***ed up by the devs.

- And three, the punishment for head on collisions is practically inconsequential! "Oh no, this higher Power vehicle collided with me, and I lost one or two rings!! It's unfortunate that I can't get one of the HUNDREDS OF RINGS littered all over the track!!"

I mean, at least there's a semblance of disadvantage there when you have a low Acceleration stat (except for Sonic Speed, but the devs are fools so...), but with Power, virtually nothing about it screams THIS STAT IS IMPORTANT, you're better off just treating this stat like it's a Dump Stat.

Unless I'm wrong and there's a gadget or two that benefits from a high Power stat, than I don't see myself changing my thoughts on this unless the devs miraculously fixes it.

What species did Mammon and Asmodeus create?

So I was under the impression that the Deadly Sins are responsible for the different species that exist throughout Hell:

- Satan created Imps

- Beelzebub created Hellhounds

- Belphagor created Baphomets

- Leviathan created Fish People

- Lucifer (technically) created Sinners

But I don't know what species Mammon and Asmodeus created. I thought maybe Mammon created Sharks but I thought Leviathan was the one who created Fish People (sharks are fish).

So does anyone know what species Mammon and Asmodeus created?

What do I do after I beat the first sector on Erekir?

So I cleared all three areas of the first sector on Erekir and the mission thing at the top left corner says "Sector Cleared".

So is there any point in adding to the sector after you clear it? Like adding defenses or more machinery? Like does the enemy do raids even after you clear a sector? Should I just move on to the next sector on the planet or should I spend time adding to the sector like defenses and machinery and stuff?

Regarding Acceleration on Super Sonic Speed...

So a couple weeks ago, I decided to test Acceleration on Super Sonic Speed. And what I found was strange.

The good news is that the Acceleration stat is more accurate on this speed compared to Sonic Speed...

The bad news is that they are still inaccurate. Because for the most part, the stat is accurate...except for Boost. Regularly, Boost machines should have the third best Acceleration in the entire game, beaten by Acceleration and Handling machines respectively. However, on Super Sonic Speed, Boost type machines have the BEST Acceleration, followed by Acceleration, Handling, Power, and lastly Speed.

Moral of the story: the devs don't know how to code acceleration and flubbed it badly in this game!

Damage Sponge enemies are enemies with a ton of HP and/or defenses, meaning that if you aren't equipped properly, it would take an entire campaigns worth of time just to whittle down that enemy's health.

Do you ever think she used the giant battleship to double park? Like she has this twisted plan of destroying the world by destroying the moon, and just before she takes off, she lands the ship in the nearest parking lot and takes up two whole slots just to be a b**ch?

I always felt that Blaster weapons are mediocre because while they do have a high rate of fire, their damage output is bad, meaning they aren't good enough for single-target damage or crowd control.

I feel like Buzz Blades weapons are far superior to Blaster weapons because they do what Blasters do and more. They have a high rate of fire AND they do a lot of damage to single targets AND their bouncing all over the place allows them to do some crowd control as well.

I can't really think of a single thing Blasters do that Buzz Blades don't, the Buzz Blades are just a superior Blaster weapon.
