I'm tired of all the produce no matter where you go being from one specific company and looked into alternative options. Was very excited to find out about CSAs and looked through Localharvest but it seemed like the only option near fort Lauderdale was a buying club that I'm not entirely sure about it actually being local produce. All the other farms nearby seemed to have shut down or no longer offer CSAs. Anyone have any experience with that?

Turned 25, frontal lobe developed. Want to try "adult" drinks. Something I would imagine a classy lady would drink who doesn't like wine.

Thinking like cosmos, negronis, gimlets, etc. (or maybe I have no idea what a classy drink is??)

My current go to drinks are: ranch waters, moscow mules or extra dirty martinis.

Would prefer anything similar but elevated?? Idk

I’ve really wanted to do this trend on TikTok recently with my partner as I’ve entered my 2nd trimester on trying pregnancy cravings.

So I wanted to hear what y’all’s weirdest pregnancy combos are ? Or combos you swear by during pregnancy, doesn’t have to be that weird as mine aren’t!

Mine so far have been

-watermelon and balsamic vinegar glaze
-saltines, cream cheese & turkey
-salt & vinegar chips with hot sauce
-coconut popsicle wrapped in blue fruit roll ups (saw it on TikTok like a month ago and I haven’t recovered since)

(Also I used to crave prior to pregnancy canned tuna and red wine vinegar a lot , I know it doesn’t count but a lot of people have given me the side eye)

I am currently pregnant with my first baby and me and my husband have been discussing parenting styles on how we want to raise our child.

Husband is very much against the iPad specifically, less concerned about the TV

I am against the screen time in general, would like it to be very limited.

Regardless, Husband has talked very negatively about iPad kids and their parents and I’ve always said I cannot judge until I am in that position.

but with every kid I know (including my own siblings aged 6-13 rn) they’re ALL on the iPad. And obviously I know my parents are capable of parenting without.

With all the extreme negative behaviors associated with iPad kids, why are parents continually giving it to them? Am I missing something?
I feel like this is well known information. So I feel like something else is being hidden from me?

I am more looking for the reasoning just so I can prepare for any issues that might arise, to prevent me folding on the screen time issue. At least prepare as much as possible.

So on my second appointment my OB gave me a paper to sign that every visit I would pay something like $276 (very rough numbers I have pregnancy brain bad lately forgive me)
And they told me it would basically cover everything I would need during my pregnancy.

I asked them labor and delivery too and they said yes????

My deductible is 4k so it can’t be me just hitting my deductible.

Does this sound right? Am I missing something?

Because I am used to those “I paid 30k to give birth” social media posts so I wasn’t expecting it to be cheap?

Originally we weren’t planning to do a gender reveal but I had wanted to throw a Fourth of July/housewarming party with all our friends and I thought it would be cute just to have one firework (that has like a little show in it, I saw some that count down and I thought that was cute?) for a gender reveal so my husband can find out with all our friends together. (I personally couldn’t wait) Also I know he would be very happy about the gender it is, so you know I would like to be a big firework. Like the main show. Knowing our friends It would probably be at night because everyone is always late, most of the ones I’ve been seeing are only for day.

only 7w5d in and my dreams are not stopping.
Back to back vivid dreams, mostly nightmares I keep waking out of thats affecting my sleep.

And now its 1:30 am and I dreamt about eating the most delicious wine jelly, and I woke up and looked up to see if it was an actual thing. (It is! Who knew)
