Anyone else find it odd how for 2 seasons we were told the Children of the Watch were a cult and Din had to break away from them and their ways, only to do a complete 180 on them in Season 3?

Unless I'm misremembering, kind of an odd story decision to make the "Cult" the good guys without having them meaningfully change their ways if you ask me.
